Our Teachers

Michael and Lisa are extremely proud to be on-site owners at the Goddard School in Blue Bell. They are thrilled to carry on a rich tradition of education, exploration, and strong socialization skills at our Goddard school. This school is truly unique in many ways. As parents to two children, Michael and Lisa understand the importance of early childhood education and providing children with a safe nurturing environment. Many of our teachers have extremely long tenures at the school and that is truly a testament to the culture we have built. As the onsite owners, Michael and Lisa are committed to giving our children and our teachers a high-quality environment in which to learn and work. Michael is a graduate of Temple University with a degree in communication and Lisa is a graduate of Ryder University with a degree in communications. Melissa Flowers is the Executive Director at the Goddard School in Blue Bell. Melissa has been a valued member of our program since April 2004. She is a graduate of Villanova University with a Bachelor's Degree in Education, as well as a Masters Degree in Public Administration. Melissa has two boys, Jacob and Kevin, who have both graduated from Goddard. In her spare time, Melissa enjoys reading, watching Flyers hockey, and spending time with her family.

Sarah S. is the Assistant Director at the school, as well as the Lead Teacher in our Pre-K classroom. Sarah has been a valued member of our program since January 2015. She received her Associate's degree in early childhood education from Montgomery County Community College and her Bachelor's degree from West Chester University. She also has a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education from West Chester University. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys reading, walking her dog, and spending time with family and friends. Her favorite children's story has always been "The Rainbow Fish" by Marcus Pfister.

Sandy K. is an Assistant Teacher in our Pre-K classroom. She is a graduate of South Plainfield High School in New Jersey. In her spare time, Sandy enjoys spending time with family and friends, swimming, and reading. Her favorite children's story has always been "Today I Feel Silly and Other Moods" by Jamie Lee Curtis.

Julia C. is one of the Lead Teachers in our Preschool classroom. She has been a valued member of our program since August 2015. Julia is a graduate of Chestnut Hill College, where she received her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. In her spare time, Julia enjoys going out to dinner with friends, hiking and taking pictures. Her favorite children's story has always been "Green Eggs and Ham" by Dr. Seuss.

Marlee C. is one of the Lead Teachers in our Preschool classroom. She has been a valued member of our program since August 2003. Marlee is a graduate of the State University of New York College at Potsdam with a Bachelor's degree in elementary education. In her spare time, Marlee enjoys reading, exercise and scrapbooking. Her favorite children's story has always been "The Kissing Hand" by Audrey Wood.

Ms. Lexi is an Assistant Teacher in our Preschool classroom. She is currently attending Montgomery County Community College, seeking a degree in Secondary Education. In her spare time, Lexi enjoys rock climbing, spending time in nature, and practicing herbalism. Her favorite children's story has always been "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom" by Bill Martin Jr. and John Archambault.

Melissa C. is the Lead Teacher in our Get Set classroom. She has been a valued member of our program since August 2005. Melissa received her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from The University of Arizona in November 2021. In her spare time, Melissa enjoys crafting, baking and shopping. Her favorite children's story has always been "The Giving Tree" by Shel Silverstein.

Sarah M. is an Assistant Teacher in our Get Set Classroom. She has an Associate's Degree from Montgomery County Community College in Liberal Studies. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys drawing/painting, signing, and spending time with her parrot. Her favorite children's story has always been "The Napping House" by Audrey Wood.

Madison H. is an Assistant Teacher in our Toddler classroom. She is a graduate of North Penn High School. In her spare time, Madison enjoys crafting, having movie nights with her family, and spending time outside. Her favorite children's story has always been "Love You Forever" by Robert Munsch.

Anesha A. is an Assistant Teacher for our Toddler classroom. She is currently attending Montgomery County Community College, seeking a degree in Secondary Education. In her spare time, Anesha enjoys baking, reading, and painting. Her favorite children's story has always been "Chrysanthemum" by Kevin Henke.

Jackie M. is an Assistant Teacher in our First Steps classroom. She is a graduate of Pennridge High School. In her spare time, Jackie enjoys art, playing with her dog, and listening to music. Her favorite children's story has always been "Miss Nelson is Missing!" by Harry Allard.

Molly D. is an Assistant Teacher throughout the school. She is a graduate of North Penn High School. In her spare time, Molly enjoys babysitting, watching movies with friends, and walking with her dog. Her favorite children's story has always been "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carle.

Mervat A. is an Assistant Teacher in our Infant classroom. She graduated from Bahteem High School in Egypt. In her spare time, Mervat enjoys arts and crafts, reading, and walking. Her favorite children's story growing up was always "The Cat in the Hat" by Dr. Seuss.

Julianne M. is an Assistant Teacher in our Infant classroom. She is a graduate of Plymouth Whitemarsh High School. In her spare time, Julianne enjoys photography, running, and dance. Her favorite children's story has always been "Goodnight Moon" by Margaret Wise Brown.

Agnes F. is an Assistant Teacher in our Infant classroom. She has her Bachelor's degree in Nursing from the Phillipines. She also has her Masters in Professional Communication from LaSalle University. In her spare time, Agnes enjoys arts and crafts, gardening and cooking. Her favorite children's book has always been "The Giving Tree" by Shel Silverstein.

Tyshae F. is an Assistant Teacher throughout the school. She is currently attending Temple University seeking a degree in Criminal Justice. In her spare time, Shae enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family. Her favorite children's story has always been "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see?" by Bill Martin Jr. and Eric Carle.

Ms. Alexandra is an Assistant Teacher throughout the school. She is currently attending Montgomery County Community College, seeking a degree in Education. In her spare time, Alexandra enjoys spending time with her family, going to church, and soccer. Her favorite children's story has always been "Little Red Riding Hood" by Brothers Grimm.

Lecea A. is a Teacher's Aide throughout the school. She is currently attending Penn State University, seeking a degree in Cyber Security. In her spare time, Lecea enjoys working out, hanging out with her family, and trying new hobbies. Her favorite children's book has always been "Dork Diaries" by Rachel Renee.

Gloria B. is an Assistant Teacher throughout the school. She is a graduate of North Penn High School and has a son Noah in our First Steps classroom. In her spare time, Gloria enjoys going on walks with her family, working out, and fishing. Her favorite children's story has always been "The Berenstain Bears: Kindness Counts" by Stan and Jan Berenstain.
