Mr. Jerry and Ms. Misty have been the on-site owners since 2015 and currently reside in Edmond with their 2 children, Caeden and Avery. Ms. Misty attended the University of Oklahoma where she studied Child Development and Early Childhood Education and Administration. She has been in the field of Early Childhood Education since 2010 and is passionate about providing a safe, fun, and stimulating environment for the students at our school. Mr. Jerry attended Drake University in Iowa where he studied Engineering. He joined Ms. Misty at The Goddard School full time in 2018. Mr. Jerry previously worked at the Oklahoma City VA Medical Center for 24 years where he served as the Chief of Construction. He enjoys meeting families and seeing the joy on the children's faces as they master new skills and make new friends. Ms. Andrea joined our team in February of 2015 and is the Executive Director of The Goddard School on Western. Andrea oversees all aspects of the school operations. She studied Child Development and received a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Central Oklahoma. Andrea has been working in the early childhood education field since 2004. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Michael and sons Carson and Ryker. They can often be found traveling, going to the park, and swimming. Her favorite thing about working at The Goddard School is the relationships that she builds with the families and she is passionate about providing them with high-quality childcare.

Ms. Tara joined our team in 2010 and is our Admissions Director. She studied Early Childhood Education at Missouri Southern State University and has been working in early childhood education since 2006. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family. Ms. Tara's favorite thing about working at The Goddard School is being able to give back to the community and building relationships with our families. She is passionate about early childhood education and believes that each child deserves the opportunity to receive a quality education.

Ms. Kaitlyn joined The Goddard School in 2019 is the Education Administration Director. She received an Associate's Degree in Early Care Education Administration from Oklahoma State University in Oklahoma City and has been working in the early childhood education field since 2015. In her spare time, Ms. Kaitlyn enjoys spending time with her two daughters, Peyton and Riley and her husband Sam. Ms. Kaitlyn is passionate about building relationships with the families and creating a safe learning environment for the children at the school.

Ms. Melissa joined our team in 2007 and is our Education Program Director. She obtained a Bachelor's in Museum Studies and has been working in the field of Early Childhood Education since 2000. Ms. Melissa enjoys spending her spare time with her husband Robby and three children Makenna, Renae, and Chase. They can often be found traveling around the state looking for new, exciting activities. Ms. Melissa's favorite children's book is "The Sneetches" by Dr. Seuss and her favorite thing about teaching is being able to help children grow and making a positive, lasting impression on the students.

Mr. Donny joined our team in May of 2013 and is the Compliance and School Age Program Director. He received a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Oklahoma Christian University and has been teaching children since 2005. In his spare time, Donny enjoys acting, stand-up comedy, and performing improv. He says his favorite children's book is "Yes Day!" by Amy Krouse Rosenthal and his favorite thing about working with children is that while he thinks he's teaching the children, they are actually teaching him.

Ms. Sara joined our team in June of 2018 and is our Administrative Director. She received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Sara has been in the field of early childhood education since 2013 and can often be found fishing, writing short stories, or rescuing hedgehogs. Her favorite children's book is "Pete the Cat" by Eric Litwin and her favorite thing about teaching is the joy of seeing each child when they have learned something new.

Ms. Krissy joined The Goddard School in 2015 and is our Assistant Education Program Director. She received her Certificate of Mastery in Child Development from Rose State College and has been working in the field of Early Childhood Education since 2006. Ms. Krissy's favorite pastimes include riding horses, spending time with her family and reading. Ms. Krissy is passionate about creating a positive, nurturing learning environment for all of our students and loves working at The Goddard School!

Ms. Desiree joined our team in 2023 and is our Kitchen Manager. She has always loved cooking and enjoys baking for her family and friends. Her favorite children's book is "The Twits" by Roald Dahl. In her spare time, she can be found cooking, fishing, camping and spending time with her husband and her 2 cats. She loves working with children because you can be silly around them.

Ms. Gloria joined our team in 2019 and is our full-time Foreign Language Teacher. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and has been in the field of Early Childhood Education since 2009. Ms. Gloria prepares and leads developmentally appropriate lessons for every classroom at The Goddard School (including infants.) She was our Teacher of the Month in September 2022 and in her spare time, Ms. Gloria enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and exercising. She says her favorite children's book is "Pinkalicious" by Victoria Kann and her favorite part about teaching Spanish is helping the children develop a skill that will last a lifetime.

Mr. Ricky joined our team in 2018 and is our Chess and STEAM Coach. He received a Bachelor's degree in Physical Fitness from Oklahoma Christian University and was our June 2019, April 2020 and January 2023 Teacher of the Month. In his spare time, Mr. Ricky enjoys listening to music, playing sports and hanging out with his friends and daughter. His favorite children's book is "Oh the Places You'll Go" by Dr. Seuss and Mr. Ricky enjoys working with children because it allows him to be a positive influence during their most important years.

Ms. Makayla joined our team in 2015 and is one of our Curriculum Resource Specialist. She received an Associates Degree in Early Care Education Administration from Oklahoma State University in Oklahoma City and has over 7 years of experience in the early childhood education field. In her spare time, Ms. Makayla can often be found spending time taking road trips and camping with her sons Boone, Miller and Maddox, husband Levi and dog Tonka. Ms. Makayla is passionate about creating learning environments that allow children to develop their independence through self-help skills. Ms. Makayla's favorite thing about The Goddard School is the F.L.E.X. (Fun Learning Experience) curriculum.

Ms. Sas joined our team in 2008 and is a Curriculum Resource Specialist and Lead Teacher for our Toddler program. She received a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Central Oklahoma and was our Teacher of the Month in January 2019 and December 2021. Ms. Sas enjoys spending time with her husband Trey and three children. She can often be found doing puzzles, reading, swimming, or decorating. Ms. Sas's favorite children's book is "Papa, Please Get the Moon For Me" by Eric Carle and says that her favorite thing about teaching is seeing children understand something they have been working on and experiencing their happy moments.

Ms. Carla joined our team in 2009 and is a Lead Teacher for our First Steps Program. She was our 2017 Teacher of the Year and the August 2020 and February 2023 Teacher of the Month! Ms. Carla enjoys spending time with her family and watching basketball in her spare time. She can often be found seeing a new movie or attending church. Ms. Carla's favorite children's book is "Brown Bear, Brown Bear" by Eric Carle and her favorite thing about teaching is hearing the children laugh.

Ms. Kelli joined our team in 2018 and is a Curriculum Resource Specialist. She was our Teacher of the Month in July 2021 and in her spare time, Ms. Kelli enjoys playing with her dogs, hedgehogs and spending time with her family. Ms. Kelli's favorite children's book is "The Velveteen Rabbit" by: Margery Williams and her favorite part about working with children is being a crucial part of their growth and development and seeing the joy they experience when they learn new things.

Ms. Darla joined our team in May of 2013 and is a Lead Teacher in our Infant program. She has over 20 years of experience in Early Childhood Education and has received her Child Development Associates and an Associates in Medical Assisting. Ms. Darla enjoys spending time with her family and can often be found shopping, traveling, crafting, and decorating. Her favorite children's book is "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus" by Mo Willems and she loves watching her students thrive throughout the year.

Ms. Faiza joined our team in 2013 and is a Lead Teacher in our Pre-Kindergarten Program and was our May 2020 Teacher of the Month! She received a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and has been teaching children since 2003. Ms. Faiza enjoys spending time with her family including three children in her spare time. She can often be found cooking, traveling, reading, and watching television. Her favorite children's book is "No David!" by David Shannon and says her favorite part about working with children is when she is able to help them name their emotions and resolve conflicts.

Ms. Kayla joined our team in July of 2016 and is a Lead Teacher for our Preschool Program. She was our Teacher of the Month in November 2019 and March 2021! Ms. Kayla enjoys spending time with her family in her spare time. She can often be found going to the movies, babysitting, and shopping. Her favorite children's book is "Junie B. Jones" by Barbara Park and says her favorite thing about teaching is helping the children grow and develop using different teaching methods.

Ms. Melodie joined our team in 2011 and is a Lead Teacher for our First Steps program. She has her degree in Early Childhood Education and was our Teacher of the Month in December 2020 and August 2022. Ms. Melodie enjoys spending time with her family, including three older sisters and two younger sisters. She can often be found spending time with her eight nieces and nephews, scrapbooking, and attending entertainment conventions. Ms. Melodie's favorite children's book is "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom" by Bill Martin Jr. and she says her favorite thing about teaching is learning each child's thought process and watching their brains work when learning new material.

Ms. Jordan joined The Goddard School in 2022 and is a Lead Teacher in our Preschool program. Ms. Jordan holds a Bachelors degree in Strategic and Organizational Communication and has been in the field of Early Childhood Education since 2015. She was out Teacher of the Month in November 2023. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the lake and spending time with her husband and her dog Maggie. Ms. Jordan's favorite children's book is "The Rainbow Fish" by Marcus Pfister and she says her favorite thing about working with children is seeing them grow and watching them be creative in their different ways.

Ms. Monique joined our team in January of 2018 and is an Lead Teacher in our Toddler Program. She is currently working towards a Bachelor's degree in Child Development and has been working in early childhood education since 2017. Ms. Monique was our Teacher of the Month in April 2022 and October 2023 and was our Teacher of the Year for 2023. In her spare time, Ms. Monique enjoys spending time with her friends, going on vacation, and volunteering. She says her favorite children's book is "Green Eggs and Ham" by Dr. Seuss and her favorite thing about teaching is being a part of their development.

Ms. Tatum joined our team in 2020 and is a Lead Teacher in our Pre-Kindergarten Program. She received a Bachelors degree in Communications. Ms. Tatum was our Teacher of the Month in May 2022 and in her spare time, Ms. Tatum enjoys hanging out with her sons. Ms. Tatum's favorite children's book is "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" and her favorite part about working with children is watching them grow and succeed.

Ms. Kristian joined our team in December of 2020 and is a Lead Teacher in our Preschool Program. She is currently attending college to obtain her degree in Education and was our Teacher of the Month in May 2021! She has over 5 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. In her spare time, Ms. Kristian enjoys dancing, cooking, and playing The Sims. Her favorite children's book is anything by Todd Parr and she says her favorite thing about teaching is getting to learn, teach and have fun at the same time!

Shermaine joined our team in 2019 and is a Lead Teacher in our Preschool Program. She has an Associates Degree from the University of the Virgin Islands and Keiser University in Health Service Administration and a Teaching Certificate in Early Childhood Education. Shermaine has been working with children in different settings since 2014 and was our Teacher of the Month in March 2023. In her spare time, she likes to read, bake with her grandchildren, and learn sign language. Shermaine's favorite thing about working with children is how excited they get when they learn something new and she loves seeing each child develop their own individuality.

Ms. Briawna joined our team ins January of 2023 and is a Lead Teacher in our Infant program. Ms. Briawna has over 3 years of experience in early childhood education and is also a licensed esthetician. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with her friends, doing lashes, and spending time with her dog Riley. Her favorite children's book is "An Elephant Nose Best" by Sue Samuels and Danny Deeptown and says her favorite thing about working with children is watching them grow and learn new things and feels special knowing she's a part of the team raising the future generation.

Ms. Ashlynn joined our team in 2021 and is a Lead Teacher in our Infant Program. She is currently attending school to become a Paramedic and is excited to begin her career at The Goddard School. In her spare time, Ms. Ashlynn enjoys hanging out with her family and listening to music. Ms. Ashlynn's favorite children's book is "There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Cow" and her favorite part about working with children is seeing their faces light up as they learn new skills.

Ms. Avery joined our team in 2021 and is a Lead Teacher in our Infant Program. She has over 5 years of experience in Child Development and is excited to begin her career at The Goddard School. In her spare time, Ms. Avery enjoys shopping, watching movies and playing volleyball. Ms. Bree joined our team in 2020 and is a Lead Teacher in our First Steps Program. She is currently attending The University of Central Oklahoma to pursue a degree in Early childhood Education. Ms. Bree was our Teacher of the Month in October 2021 and in her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her friends, dancing and volunteering with her sorority. Ms. Allison joined our team in 2021 and is an Assistant Teacher in our First Steps Program. She has over 4 years of experience in Early Care Education and is excited to begin her career at The Goddard School. In her spare time, Ms. Allison enjoys hanging out with her friends. Ms. Uniqua joined our team in 2019 and is an Assistant Teacher in our Toddler Program and our November 2020 Teacher of the Month. Ms. Catherine joined our team in November of 2022 and is an Assistant Teacher in our Infant program. In her spare time, Ms. Catherine enjoys trying new coffee shops, doing escape rooms and playing video games. Ms. Nicole joined our team in 2020 and is a Lead Teacher in our Toddler Program. She has received a degree in Paralegal Studies from Rose State. Ms. Nicole was our Teacher of the Month in November 2022 and in her spare time, she enjoys going on family adventures to new places, spending time outside and hiking. Ms. Nicole's favorite children's book is anything Dr. Seuss! One of her favorite parts about working with children is that she gets to be silly. Ms. Ijeoma joined our team in September of 2022 and is an Assistant Teacher in our Toddler program. She holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology from UCO. In her spare time, Ms. Ijeoma enjoys reading, modeling in the OKC area, and playing Dungeons and Dragons with her friends every week. Ms. Tiara joined our team in 2013 and is a Resource Teacher in the south building. She has over 15 years of experience in early childhood education. Ms. Tiara enjoys spending time with her family including her son in her spare time. Her favorite children's book is "No David!" by David Shannon and says her favorite part about working with children is getting to help shape the minds of the future!

Ms. Bella joined our team in October of 2023 and is a Resource Teacher. In her spare time, Ms. Bella enjoys gardening, painting, pottery, photography and cooking. Ms. Kylie joined our team in 2020 and is a Resource Teacher in our Infant Program. She is currently attending the University of Central Oklahoma where she is completing her undergraduate courses before attending sonography school and has over 3 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. In her spare time, Ms. Kylie enjoys shopping, spending time with her friends and family, and watching her favorite television shows. Ms. Hailey joined our team in 2023 and is an Assistant Teacher in our Infant Program. In her spare time, she enjoys shopping, hiking and hanging out with her friends. Ms. Janay joined our team in June of 2023 and is an Assistant Teacher in our Toddler Program. Ms. Deloris joined our team in 2022 and is an Assistant Teacher. In her spare time, Ms. Deloris enjoys reading, puzzles, fishing and board games. Ms. Sierra joined our team in 2021 and is a Resource Teacher. In her spare time she enjoys running, traveling, and hanging out with her friends. Ms. Jayla joined our team in 2023 and is an Assistant Teacher in our Preschool Program. She attended Ottawa University in Kansas on a track scholarship. In her spare time she loves to run and paint. Ms. Avery joined our team in 2023 and is a Resource Teacher. In her spare time, she enjoys listening to music and spending time with her friends and family. Ms. Kaelin joined our team in September of 2023 and is a Resource Teacher. She is currently attending UCO and is pursuing a degree in HR Management. Ms. Kenna joined our team in 2023 and is a Resource Teacher. She is currently studying Marriage and Family Counselling at the University of Central Oklahoma. Ms. Kortlyn joined our team in August of 2023 and is a Resource Teacher. She received her Associate Degree in Science from Murray State College and is currently studying Elementary Education at the University of Central Oklahoma. Her favorite children's book is "There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly" by Lucille Colandro. In her spare time, she enjoys playing softball and going to concerts. Ms. Alexis joined our team in 2024 and is an Assistant Teacher in our Preschool Program. She is currently studying Early Childhood Education at OCCC and in her spare time she enjoys reading, watching movies, and shopping. Her favorite children's book is "The Gruffalo" by Julia Donaldson. She says her favorite thing about working with children is how funny they are and how much love they have to give.

Ms. Amanda joined our school in 2024 and is an Assistant Teacher in our First Steps program. In her spare time she loves to read, travel, and spend time outside. He favorite children's book is anything in the Madeline series by Ludwig Bemelmans. She loves building relationships and having a fundamental role in the growth and development of her students.

Ms. Elayna joined our team in 2024 and is an Assistant Teacher in our Preschool and Pre-K programs. She is currently studying General Education at OSU-OKC. In her spare time, she loves to longboard, paint, read and hang out with her friends and family. Her favorite children's books are "The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse" by Charlie Mackesy and "Green Eggs and Ham" by Dr. Seuss. She says she loves working with children because she enjoys helping them work through their emotions and they say some of the funniest things she's ever heard.

Ms. Sharanika joined our team in 2024 and is a Resource Teacher. In her spare time, she enjoys playing basketball and listening to music. Her favorite children's book is "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?" by Bill Martin Jr. and Eric Carle. She enjoys working with children because their faces light up her day and she enjoys seeing their personalities grow.

Ms. Kassidy joined our team in 2020 and is a Resource Teacher in our Toddler Program. She is currently attending the University of Central Oklahoma to pursue a degree in Speech Pathology. In her spare time, Ms. Kassidy enjoys drinking coffee and watching movies. Ms. Kassidy's favorite children's book is "You are Special" and her favorite part about working with children is watching them learn and grow into their own person.
