    The Goddard School of Manhattan has locations on the Upper East Side and Upper West Side. We are a school, not a daycare center. We are committed to providing the highest level of stimulating development and warm nurturant care for Infants, and an age-appropriate curriculum for One Year-Olds and up in our Toddler, Preschool, and Pre-Kindergarten classrooms. Our schools are state-of-the-art facilities with many large sun-filled rooms. Our degreed teachers utilize our unique curriculum to teach your child in a fun and loving environment.     Executive Director
    Sandra Sa has a Master's Degree from Teachers College, Columbia University and has NYS Teaching Certification. She started her tenure at The Goddard School in January 2012 as Education Director after working 8 years in leadership in another successful preschool. She has supported the growth of The Goddard Schools over the years, and she heads the Kindergarten Exmissions Program for the schools. Sandra's passion lies in supporting the education of young children while being a resource for families and teachers during this important time in a child's life.

    Education Director
    Annie is the Education Director of the Upper East Side Goddard School. She has a Master of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. Ms. Annie joined the Goddard Team in 2018 after teaching for over 20 years in a preschool classroom. At the Goddard School, Ms. Annie enjoys working closely with our families and teachers. She believes in having a warm nurturing environment where children can use their natural curiosity to learn through play and conversation

    Suhay

    Lead Teacher
    Suhay is a Lead Teacher in our Infant Program. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology and Early Childhood Education from Lehman College. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Curriculum Development at Boston College. Suhay has been working at the Goddard School since 2018. Prior to joining the Goddard School, she was an Assistant Teacher in an infant classroom. She loves to share her enthusiasm of teaching through reading and singing to children.

    Lead Teacher
    Kaysha is a Lead Teacher in our Preschool Program. She attended Hunter College, where she double majored in Childhood Education and English Language Arts. She has experience working with different age groups. In 2019, she discovered her passion to work with younger children. The early years of a child’s learning experience is crucial, and Ms. Kaysha strives to make a positive impact on all the children who she teaches.

    Lead Teacher
    Mrs. Vivian is a Lead Teacher in our Pre-Toddler program She has an Associates in Arts degree in Early Childhood Education from Borough of Manhattan Community College. She is currently continuing her education career at Mercy College pursuing her bachelor's degree in Psychology. Ms. Vivian is excited to work at the Goddard School and share her bubbly personality with all the children.

    Lead Teacher
    Ms. Floribel is a lead teacher in our infant program. She has been with the Goddard School teaching infants and toddlers since 2017. Her continuing education at John Jay College has provided knowledge in Cognitive and Psychological development which helps her in the classroom. She believes that a caring, nurturing, and inviting curriculum leads to a great learning experience for each child. Furthermore, she believes one of the key elements of learning is communication, and that talking through our routines with children helps them expand their vocabulary and make connections. Ms. Floribel loves working with all ages but enjoys the infants and toddlers the most and is fascinated by the speed of their growth and learning.

    Assistant Teacher
    Genesis is an Assistant Teacher in our Infant/Toddler Program. Ms. Genesis is an assistant teacher in our Infant classroom. She has a Bachelor’s of Science in Clinical Psychology from Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU). She has been working with children since 2017, including as an assistant teacher at a Montessori school. Her teaching philosophy inspires warmth and empathy to create an engaging and nurturing learning environment.

    Lead Teacher
    Kenia is an Assistant Teacher in our Infant/Toddler Program. She has an Associate in Science Degree in Early Childhood Education from Kingsborough Community College. She has been working with children since 2015, including as an assistant teacher for children ages 4-10. She believes that children have great minds with unique personalities, and she is excited to watch all her children grow and learn!

    Interim Lead Teacher
    Sandra is an Assistant Teacher in our Infant/Toddler Program. She has an Associate in Applied Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Hostos Community College and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree from City College. She has been working with children since 2005, mostly as an assistant teacher working with 2-4 year olds. Sandra feels privileged to be part of this team of teachers, and is passionate about facilitating growth and learning for the children.
