Jyoti Verma, co-owner of The Goddard Schools located in Henderson and Las Vegas (South), NV, earned her Master of Science degree in MIS and Marketing, and a Bachelor’s degree in Arts (Economics Major). She was always passionate about children, education, and community hence, wanted her life-work to crystallize around those three focal points. She’s excited to operate a business that plays an important role in the community by providing exceptional service for children and that is centered on her most important priority—family. Ms. Jyoti is proud to be a part of The Goddard School and is committed to providing the highest quality preschool experience for the children in the community.

Gagan Verma, co-owner of The Goddard Schools located in Henderson and Las Vegas (South), NV, earned his MBA from Columbia University, NYC, and a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from DCET. He also passed levels I & II of the CFA Charter. After a successful career with fortune 100 companies in risk management, corporate finance, and management consulting, he joined his wife in 2020 to operate their childcare business that aligns with their values and provides exceptional early childhood educational and developmental services for children. Mr. Verma also had the privilege of serving on the board of Spread the Word NV, the largest child literacy-related nonprofit in Nevada. He is very excited and proud to be a part of The Goddard School and is committed to providing the highest quality preschool experience for the children in this community. Mr. Verma is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a background check with the Las Vegas Metro Police Department.

Gia was born in Granada Hills, CA, and raised in Mohave Valley, AZ. She has been in the Early Childhood Education Field since 2000, received her AA in Early Childhood Education from CSN and her BA in Business Administrative from NSC. She works in the field because "You deserve to go to work each day and be happy! I always say we have the BEST families, faculty and facility!" She enjoys spending time with her family, attending sporting events, shopping at Target & Amazon, and is an obsessed dog mom of 2 Pitbull's named Paisley and Jax. Some of her favorites include Mexican food and pizza, dips, coffee, and the color green. Fun Fact: I have been to Nicaragua twice to rebuild a school and serve children; it was life-changing!!

Sequoia was born in Fountain Valley, CA, and raised in Flushing, MI. She has been in the Early Childhood Education field since 2011 and is attending CSN pursuing her Early Childhood Education degree. She teaches because “I love children; watching them learn and grow is one of the most rewarding things you can do!” She enjoys taking her children to the beach and Target in her spare time. Some of her favorites include: Italian food, Dutch Bros, Dr. Pepper, Reeses, and her favorite color is black. Fun Fact- “I was born on Christmas!”

Ms. Aeryn was born in Waco, TX, and raised in Henderson, NV. She is currently obtaining her Child Development Associate credential and has experience as a lead teacher in toddler and preschool programs. She teaches because "I want to advocate for our youth." She enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons and reading comic books in her spare time. Some of her favorites include pizza, burgers, coffee, chocolate, and the color red. Fun Fact- "I used to be a professional wrestler!"

Ms. Alisha was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. She has over 20 years of childcare experience and teaches because “I love the curiosity and growth children have when learning new skills!” In her spare time, she enjoys taking her daughter on adventures, performing in theatre shows, and reading. Her favorites include al pastor tacos, peach La Croix, and salt and vinegar chips; her favorite color is sparkly gold. Fun Fact- “I can play the nose kazoo!”

Ms. Day was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. She has eleven years of experience working in the early childhood education field, teaching students from infants through school age, and has previously owned a daycare for two years. She teaches because "I want to help positively impact children's lives." In her spare time, she enjoys reading books and coaching basketball. Some of her favorites include pizza, lemonade, and peanut M&M's; her favorite color is teal. Fun Fact- "The most books I have read in a year is 170!"

Ms. Jasmine was born and raised in Oakland, CA. She is new to the early childhood education field. She teaches because "I've always had a connection to kids, even when I was young." In her spare time, she enjoys reading, crocheting, shopping, and bicycling. Some of her favorites include sushi, tacos, horchata, and spicy chips; her favorite color is pink. Fun fact: "When I was younger, I played the violin!"

Ms. Kimber was born and raised in Henderson, NV. She has been in the Early Childhood Education field for seven years, teaching students from infants through Pre-K. Ms. Kimber teaches because “I love to see children learn and grow. I get excited when the babies learn something new.” She enjoys hanging out with family and friends, watching Netflix, and listening to music in her spare time. Her favorites are Mexican food, Pepsi, chocolate milk, snickers, Cheetos, and the color purple. Fun Fact: “I’m related to Pocahontas!”

Ms. Cheyanne was born and raised in Southern California. She has experience in the early childhood education field and has also worked as a nanny. She teaches, "I've always enjoyed creating a fun and safe environment for children. Watching them learn and grow is heartwarming." In her spare time, she enjoys reading, playing games, and trying new crafts. Some of her favorites include sushi, caramel macchiato, and spicy chips; her favorite color is dark green. Fun fact: "I come from a family of 10, and we have 15 kids all together!"

Ms. Tricia was born and raised in Utah. She has experience in the Early Childhood Education field with all ages but focuses on Pre-K. She teaches because “I love children and enjoy seeing them learn and grow!” She loves to watch movies and go to the beach in her spare time. Her favorites include burritos, root beer, Starbucks, and the color blue. Fun Fact- “I’ve lived on a ranch!”

Ms. Olivia was born and raised in Henderson, Nevada. She has experience in the early childhood field. She is currently attending Nevada State College to pursue a degree in ECE. She teaches because "I want kids to feel needed and loved!" In her spare time, she enjoys camping and hanging out with her friends. Some of her favorites include Pickles, Lemonade, and Cheez It's; her favorite color is purple. Fun Fact- "I played percussion for seven years and was in drumline for four years!"

Ms. Edhaya was born in India. She has two years of experience working in a preschool. She teaches because "I love learning new things and the children teach me every day!" In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family. Some of her favorites include Indian food, Chinese food, chocolate, coffee, and the color blue. Fun Fact: I love to talk and crack jokes!!

Ms. Brenna was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. She is new to the early childhood field. She teaches because "I love to see children grow and learn new things!" In her spare time, she enjoys crocheting, painting, and reading. Some of her favorites include sushi, tea and coffee, and chips and salsa; her favorite colors are forest green and royal blue. Fun Fact- "I am double-jointed in my fingers!"

Ms. Hailey was born in Pennsylvania and raised in Michigan. She has experience working in the early childhood education field, working with children from infants to two years. She teaches because "I want to positively impact kids' lives and make a safe environment for them." In her spare time, she enjoys going to the gym and spending time with her friends and family. Some of her favorites include chicken alfredo, strawberry creme, Dr. Pepper, and popcorn; her favorite color is pink. Fun Fact- "I moved to Nevada five years ago!"

Ms. Liana was born and raised in the State of Hawaii. She is new to the ECE field and recently graduated from CSN with an associate degree in Criminal Justice. She teaches, "To prepare and inspire young minds for their bright future!" She enjoys reading, drawing, and playing video games in her spare time! Some of her favorites include spaghetti, green tea, French fries, and the color blue. Fun Fact- "I am a happy dog mom of two chihuahuas, Abigail Jean and Puka!"

Ms. Rosa was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. She has experience in the Early Childhood Education field with all age groups and has volunteered in schools and babysat. She teaches because "I like to share knowledge and see progress develop over time!" She loves to explore the mountains, spend time with family, and watch movies in her spare time. Her favorites include Mexican, Dr. Pepper, kit kat, hot Cheetos with lime, and the color blue. Fun Fact- "I have two dogs; a dachshund and a husky!"

Ms. Serena was born in Hayward, CA, and raised in San Jose, CA. She has over 3 years in the early childhood education field, focusing on children 18 months- 5 years old. She teaches because "It gives a sense of pride that I can be a part of the most important years in a child's life!" She enjoys organizing and playing with her 3 dogs and 5 cats in her spare time. Her favorites include Italian food, sandwiches, Cheez-it's, iced coffee, and the color teal. Fun Fact- "I have an obsession with office supplies and collect colored pens."

Ms. Josie was born and raised in Southern California and is new to the state of Nevada. She has worked alongside children for the past seven years and is currently majoring in child development. She teaches because “I love being a part of the learning journey for children. I love being able to help children develop emotional, social, and educational skills in a fun and exciting way!” Her favorites include Michigan pasties, tea, cranberry juice, fruit, and trail mix; her favorite color is pink. Fun Fact- “I am a huge Angels baseball fan. My family has had season tickets since 2003. In 2014, I met my favorite baseball player and am still communicating with the family today.”

Ms. Syncer was born in Long Beach, CA, and raised in Eastvale, CA. She is new to early childhood education. She teaches because "There is nothing more special than helping another child grow and develop into an amazing and smart individual." In her spare time, she enjoys reading and listening to music. Some of her favorites include salmon sushi, blue Gatorade, and multi-color goldfish; her favorite color is green. Fun Fact- "I am the second eldest of 12 children!"

Ms. MC was born and raised on the island of Maui. She received her BA in Asian Studies, obtained her CDA certificate, and has many years of early childhood education experience. She teaches because "It is rewarding to watch children understand and demonstrate what I've taught them!" She enjoys traveling, playing video games, and spending time with her family and friends in her spare time. Some of her favorites include Korean BBQ, Italian, Lemonade, dark chocolate, and the color black. Fun Fact-"Japan is my favorite place to travel, and I've been there twice!"

Ms. Micaela was born and raised in Austin, TX. She is new to early childhood education and currently attends CSN for her associate's in psychology. She teaches because "I love kids. There is a strong need for caring teachers right now, and I would love to fill that role." In her spare time, she enjoys working on her Etsy shop and spending time with her pets. Some of her favorites include Mexican food, Diet Coke, and Pirates booty; her favorite color is dark green. Fun Fact- "My favorite movie is Mamma Mia!"

Ms. Isabel was born in Los Angeles, CA, and raised in East Los Angeles, CA. She has experience in early childhood education and has earned credits in child development at Citrus College. She teaches because "I want to help children express the creative side of their minds!" In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and trying new places to eat. Some of her favorites include Mexican food, burgers with fries, Poppi soda, cherry cola, various fruits, and slete chips; her favorite colors are pink and sage. Fun Fact- "I have a cat named Jiji and two dogs, Luna and Bison!"

Ms.Niyah was born in Riverside, CA, and raised in Las Vegas, NV. She is new to the early childhood education field but has experience working in an elementary school. She teaches because "Kids are the next generation, and I want a helping hand that gets them to the next step!" In her spare time, she enjoys reading and writing poetry. Some of her favorites include steak, asparagus, Dr. Pepper, and extra hot Cheetos; her favorite color is pink. Fun fact: "I won an all-around state championship in Arizona for women's track."

Ms. Lisa was born and raised in Hawaii on the island of Oahu. She has 20 years of experience as a Special Education teacher working with preschool to elementary students. Lisa teaches because "It is gratifying for me to see children progress mentally, physically, and socially." She likes to relax at home or shop at Target in her spare time. Her favorites include Mexican food, Italian food, desserts, chocolate, coffee and the colors black and pink. Fun Fact: "I am an Amazon shop-a-holic and love to collect Starbucks cups!"

Ms. Heather was born and raised in Apple Valley, CA. She is new to early childhood education and is currently obtaining her CDA. She teaches, "I love children and watching them grow and learn." In her spare time, she enjoys playing with her kids, going on walks, and shopping. Some of her favorites include Mexican food, pizza, strawberry lemonade, coffee, and cookies; her favorite color is pink. Fun fact: "I am double-jointed in six of my fingers!"

Ms. Esmeralda was born and raised in Oakland, CA. She has early childhood education experience and earned ECE credits from UC Davis. She teaches because "Children are our future and can be anything they want. They bring me joy and inspire me to be a better teacher!" She enjoys cooking, shopping, taking her dog on hikes, and spending time with her godchildren in her spare time. Some of her favorites include Mexican food, Thai food, Mexican Coke, coffee, pastries, and the colors pink & yellow. Fun Fact- "Out of my 20 uncles and aunts, only seven of them know my real name. The rest call me nicknames!"

Ms. Marisol was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She has over 10 years of working in the Early Childhood Education field. She teaches because "Beyond having a passion for caring for children, I enjoy watching children develop into loving adults!" She enjoys traveling, working out, and baking in her spare time. Some of her favorites include sandwiches, chicken, coffee, donuts, and the colors white & black. Fun Fact- "I am spontaneous!"

Ms. Alveonna was born in Lywood, CA, and raised in Gardena, CA. She has experience working in early childhood education and received her AA in child development. She teaches because "I love to see children be very successful." In her spare time, she enjoys shopping, eating, and spending time with family. Some of her favorites include stuffed peppers, baked potatoes, Starbucks, sweets, and candy chips; her favorite colors are pink and blue. Fun fact: "I am an outgoing, fun person, and I love eating sweets!"

Ms. Amore was born in San Pedro, CA, and raised in Long Beach, CA. She is new to the early childhood education field and has experience working in a special needs program. She teaches because "I love to see children learn and grow while being able to help them gain the knowledge they need." In her spare time, she enjoys building Legos and working on cars. Some of her favorites include tacos, pizza, Arizona Tea, and chips; her favorite colors are red and yellow. Fun fact: "I have a big family!"

Ms. Chasity was born and raised in Mesa, AZ. She has 12 years of experience working in the early childhood education field. She graduated in 2022 from ASU and received her bachelor's degree in dance. She teaches because "I have the ability and opportunity to enhance the skill set of the generations to come." In her spare time, she enjoys dancing and spending quality time with her daughter, Rori. Some of her favorites include pizza, orange and mango Body Armor, Takis, and hot Cheetos; her favorite color is emerald green. Fun fact: "I have an identical twin sister!"

Mr. Jason was born in Fort Wayne, IN, and raised in Phoenix, AZ. He has experience working in early childhood education and is pursuing a degree in psychology at CSN. He teaches because "I want to provide a safe and caring environment for children to learn and grow." In his spare time, he enjoys dancing, reading, and nature-watching. Some of his favorites include chicken, spicy noodles, mochas, Thai tea, and chocolate pretzels; his favorite color is purple. Fun Fact- "I want to perform with a circus!"

Ms. Katie was born in Montgomery, MD, and raised in Richmond, VA. She has over fifteen years of experience working in an early childhood education center and has taken ECE courses at a local community college. She teaches because "I love to make kids think and watch them grow!" In her spare time, she enjoys practicing healthy yoga, hiking, and playing floorball. Some of her favorites include pasta, apples, water, and the color green. Fun Fact- "I have two Bengal cats named Bella & Benji!"

Ms. Martha was born and raised in Guatemala, Central America. She graduated from college as an Elementary School Teacher. She then gained experience as a paraeducator at LUSD in California and had her own home daycare. She teaches because "No other job gives me the challenges, joys, creativity, and inspiration. I like to see how children grow and learn!" In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, camping, and cooking. Some of her favorites include Chinese food, pink lemonade, and cashews; her favorite color is red. Fun Fact- "I love movies...but I can't handle scary movies!"

Ms. Ranjitha (Ranji) was born and raised in India. She has a Diploma in Electronics and Communication and experience as a school teacher in India. She teaches because "I love children and want to spend all of my time making sure they succeed!" In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and watching TV. Some of her favorites include Indian food, water, Pani Puri (an Indian snack), and the color black. Fun Fact- My family and I love our family gamenights!

Ms. Ruzanna was born and raised in Georgia Republic, Akhaltsikhe. She has eight years of experience working in education and is new to the early childhood education field. She teaches, "Children are innocent, and I want nothing more than for them to be happy." In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, baking, listening to music, and going on walks. Some of her favorites include Khinkali, Jus, and crackers; her favorite color is green. Fun fact: "I am very funny, and I love to show my funny side!"

Ms. Sophia was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. She has five years of experience in the early childhood field, and she currently attends college at Nevada State University. She teaches because "I want to inspire young minds." In her spare time, she enjoys playing board games with her friends and hanging out with her family.
