Our Teachers

I am one of the owners at The Goddard School in Toms River 1. I have my degree in Early Childhood Education, and have been working in the Childcare profession for over twenty five years. I have been a teacher for all ages from 6 weeks to 6 years along with being a Director and Assistant Director over the years. I have volunteered as a soccer coach for children and love being a mom to my son Will. I want to thank you for entrusting your child's education in The Goddard School.

I am one of the onsite owner's of The Goddard School of Toms River 1. I have my Bachelors Degree from Kean University with a double major in Psychology and in Education. I worked eight years for the Division of Youth & Family Protection investigating child abuse and neglect. I have volunteered as a soccer coach for the past 10 years and I also volunteer as a Cub Master for Pack 6 Cub Scout group. Much of my spare time is dedicated to children and our community. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is look at each child as an individual. I thank you for putting your trust in our school.

Ms. Jami, Educational Director I am the Full time Educational Director. I graduated from Georgian Court University and hold a Kindergarten through Eighth Grade teaching certificate and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. I have been with the Goddard School for the past 17 years, as Assistant Director for 5 years, nine years of experience was teaching Kindergarten and the previous three years, I was Head Teacher in the Pre-K classroom. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is to portray a positive attitude towards learning and most importantly towards their development.

My name is Miss Danielle and I am the Assistant Director here at our school. I have over 15 years experience working with children and I hold my PreK to 3rd grade certificate. I am excited to be a part of the Goddard School. I believe the most important thing an educator can do is have compassion, determination and understanding that every child learns in different ways.

Ms. Elyssa, Curriculum Coordinator I was the Head Teacher in the Sparkling Seahorses Pre-K class for the past 15 years. Prior to my time at Goddard, I taught Pre-K for seventeen years in the Trenton area. I have my Child Development Accreditation. I am very excited to be a part of The Goddard School family and seeing the children explore and learn every day. I believe that the most important thing a teacher can do is to help a child develop a positive self esteem.

Miss Gabi, Teacher in the Shining Starfish Classroom. I come to the Goddard School with years of experience working in Childcare in Brazil and am excited to be a part of the Goddard family. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is be patient.

Miss Melanie is the Lead teacher in the Sparkling Seahorse Pre-K class. She joins the Goddard School with her Associates Degree and over 12 years of experience teaching children. My favorite part of being a teacher is the meaningful relationships she builds with her students. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is be positive and consistent.

Miss Christine, Assistant Teacher Seahorse class. I am the Assistant Teacher in the pre-k classroom. I enjoy interacting with all the children and getting a chance to watch them learn and grow. I have my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Ocean County College and have experience working with children throughout the years. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is help children develop learning skills at a pace that supports their needs.

Ms.Alexis, Head Teacher in Marvelous Manatee Pre-Kindergarten classroom. I am happy to be a part of the Goddard School. I am currently attending Ocean County College for my degree in education. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is to have patience and to understand each child.

Miss Kathy Lead Teacher in the Marvelous Manatee Pre-K classroom. I am retired public-school teacher and have taught classes ranging from Kindergarten - 8th grade for 32 years. I love working with children and am so excited to be working at the Goddard school to help nurture, encourage, and help each child grow at their own pace. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is to help children become the best they can be in a safe, secure environment.

Miss Sandra, Classroom Floater. I have my Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Seton Hall. I come to the Goddard School with over three years experience and I am excited to be a part of the team. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is provide a safe and fun learning environment.

Miss Lisa, Lead Teacher in the Super Seals Preschool Classroom. I graduated from William Paterson University with a degree in Early Childhood Education and Sociology. I have been teaching for over 35 years and have taught all ages from 1 to 6 years. I am the mother of four children and have been blessed with my first grandchild. I have just relocated from North Jersey and am thrilled to be a part of The Goddard School. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is to provide a warm, loving, and enriching environment.

Miss Victoria, Assistant Teacher in the Super Seals Preschool Classroom. I have been working with children over two years and I am excited to share my love of art with them. I am aspiring to further my education in Art Therapy. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is to be present and happy.

Miss Samantha, Lead Teacher in the Lovely Lobster Bridge Classroom. Miss Samantha has worked with children of a variety of ages for over 8 years. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is make memories with the children.

Miss Paige is the Assistant Teacher in the Lovely Lobster Bridge Classroom. I has been working in childcare for over three years. I am a mother of two daughters currently enrolled at The Goddard School. Working with children reminds me of how amazing and exciting the world can be. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is build a relationship with the children and their parents.

Miss Anastasia, Lead Teacher in the Fantastic Fish Twos Classroom. I have over 10 years of experience working in childcare and am very excited to be a part of the Goddard Team. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is encourage and teach children in a safe, nurturing environment.

Miss Brooke, Lead Teacher i the Jolley Jellyfish, Twos Classroom. I gained my degree in Child Development from Ball State University and have been working with children for over 2 years. I am excited to be teaching in a nurturing environment such as Goddard. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is support each child's individual needs.

Miss Wendy, Assistant teacher in the Jolly Jellyfish Twos Classroom. I gained my experience in childcare while helping home school my niece and nephew. I love working with children and am happy to be a part of the Goddard team. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is be patient.

Miss Sarah, Lead Teacher in the Wonderful Whales, Toddler Classroom. I am currently perusing my masters degree in Early Elementary Education. The most important thing a teacher can do is be patient, understanding, a good listener, and have structure in a positive learning environment.

Miss Marilyn, Assistant Teacher in the Wonderful Whales, Toddler Classroom. I have over 7 years of experience working with children. I love being a part of the Goddard Team. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is to provide a loving safe environment.

Miss Michele, Assistant Teacher Terrific Turtles classroom. I have over 20 years experience working with children. I also have personal experience raising my four children. I am excited to be here to help your children learn, and watch them grow. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is to love and care for each and every child.

My name is Daniela. I am an Assistant Teacher in the Terrific Turtle Classroom. I have over 10 years of experience working with children and plan to return to school to further my childcare education. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is be kind and patient with them.

Miss Kym, Lead Teacher in the Darling Dolphins Class. I am the Head Teacher for the children in the Infant classroom. I have over 20 years experience working with infants and toddlers. I have completed my Child Development Associates certification for infants and toddlers and have worked at The Goddard School for the past eighteen years. I hope to fill your child's time with fun learning experiences at The Goddard School. I am an active member of NAEYC. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is to comfort a child and make the atmosphere happy.

Miss Melissa, Assistant Teacher in the Darling Dolphin, Infant classroom. I have over 21 years of experience, including 5 children of my own. I am excited to be a part of the Goddard School. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is keep calm.

Miss Carolyne, Teacher Assistant in the Super Seals Preschool classroom. I graduated Monmouth University with a BA in Art and have worked with children for over 18 years. I believe children's faces should light up when they walk into a classroom. I am happy to be part of the Goddard School team. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is be happy and loving to a child.

Mr. Justin, School Age Support Teacher. I am a teacher with the school age children for before & after care and summer camp. I am a former Goddard School graduate and am thrilled to have the opportunity to teach this generation of children. I am currently enrolled in college to get my teaching degree. My experience was gained in Boy Scouts training the younger scouts on my way to achieving my Eagle Scout. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is show patience and discover which learning technique is best for each child.

Ms. Beth, Classroom Trainer & Building Floater I train staff in Iters & Ecers and help all the classrooms teachers be their very best. I have a Child Development Associate and over 10 years of experience working with young children and their families. I also have hands on experience raising my young daughter! I am happy to be here to help your children learn and watch them grow. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is nurture, love and teach by example.

Miss Diane, School Age Support Teacher. I spent my career working with young children. I have over nineteen years of experience in the profession of Early Childhood Education. I enjoy guiding children as they reach their developmental goals. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is make each child feel they are special.

Miss Menna, Lead Teacher in the Terrific Turtles classroom. I earned a BA in Accounting while living in Egypt. I have always had a love for working with children and have gained wonderful experience raising my two daughters. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is teach love and respect.

Mr. Jack, Assistant Teacher in the Playful Porpoise school age. I am currently attending Caldwell University to obtain my Bachelors Degree in Education were I play lacrosse for the Caldwell University Men Team. I gained my experience assisting with the school age child as a summer camp counselor. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is teach respect by showing respect.

Miss Michele, Assistant Teacher floating throughout the school. I come to the Goddard School with over 5 years experience working with children and am excited to be a part of the Goddard family. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is encourage children to love learning.
