Our Goddard School Teachers

I am one of the owners at The Goddard School in Toms River 1. I have my degree in Early Childhood Education, and have been working in the Childcare profession for over twenty five years. I have been a teacher for all ages from 6 weeks to 6 years along with being a Director and Assistant Director over the years. I have volunteered as a soccer coach for children and love being a mom to my son Will. I want to thank you for entrusting your child's education in The Goddard School.

I am one of the onsite owner's of The Goddard School of Toms River 1. I have my Bachelors Degree from Kean University with a double major in Psychology and in Education. I worked eight years for the Division of Youth & Family Protection investigating child abuse and neglect. I have volunteered as a soccer coach for the past 10 years and I also volunteer as a Cub Master for Pack 6 Cub Scout group. Much of my spare time is dedicated to children and our community. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is look at each child as an individual. I thank you for putting your trust in our school.

My name is Miss Jami and I am the Full time Educational Director. I graduated from Georgian Court University and hold a Kindergarten through Eighth Grade teaching certificate and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. I have been with the Goddard School for the past 24 years, as Assistant Director for 5 years, nine years of experience was teaching Kindergarten and the previous three years, I was Head Teacher in the Pre-K classroom. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is to portray a positive attitude towards learning and most importantly towards their development.

My name is Miss Danielle and I am the Assistant Director here at our school. I have over 15 years experience working with children and I hold my PreK to 3rd grade teaching certificate. I am excited to be a part of the Goddard School. I believe the most important thing an educator can do is have compassion, determination and understanding that every child learns in different ways.

My name is Miss Elyssa and I am the Curriculum Coordinator. I was the Lead Teacher in the Sparkling Seahorses Pre-K class for 15 years. Prior to my time at Goddard, I taught Pre-K for seventeen years in the Trenton area. I have my Child Development Accreditation. I am very excited to be a part of The Goddard School family and seeing the children explore and learn every day. I believe that the most important thing a teacher can do is to help a child develop a positive self esteem.

My name is Miss Christine and I am a teacher in the Sparkling Seahorse Pre-K Classroom. I enjoy interacting with all the children and getting a chance to watch them learn and grow. I have my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Ocean County College and have experience working with children throughout the years. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is help children develop learning skills at a pace that supports their needs.

My name is Miss Alexis and I am the Lead Teacher in Marvelous Manatee Pre-Kindergarten classroom. I just obtainted my Child Development Associate Credential and I am happy to be a part of the Goddard School. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is to have patience and to understand each child.

My name is Miss Sandra and I am a part of the support staff. I have my Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Seton Hall. I come to the Goddard School with over three years experience working with children and I am excited to be a part of the team. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is provide a safe and fun learning environment.

Hi, my nams is Miss Lisa and I'm the Lead Teacher in the Super Seals Preschool Classroom. I graduated from William Paterson University with a degree in Early Childhood Education and Sociology. I have been teaching for over 35 years and have taught all ages from 1 to 6 years. I am the mother of four children and have been blessed with my third grandchild. I have just relocated from North Jersey and am thrilled to be a part of The Goddard School. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is to provide a warm, loving, and enriching environment.

My name is Miss Tori and I am a part of the support staff here at our school. I have been working with children over two years and I am excited to share my love of art with them. I am aspiring to further my education in Art Therapy. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is to be present and happy.

Hi, My name is Miss Jennifer and I am the full time lead teacher in the Starfish classroom. I studied child psychology at the College of Staten Island. I have over 6 years' experience working with young children. I am happy to be a part of the Goddard Family. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is to provide a loving and caring environment for the children to want to be a part the class day after day.

My name is Miss Paige and I am a teacher in the Jolly Jellyfish classroom. I have been working in childcare for over eight years. I am a mother of two daughters, one who is currently enrolled at The Goddard School and one who just graduated our Pre-K program. Working with children reminds me of how amazing and exciting the world can be. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is build a relationship with the children and their parents.

My name is Miss Ana and I am the Lead Teacher in the Fantastic Fish Twos Classroom. I have over 10 years of experience working in childcare and am very excited to be a part of the Goddard Team. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is encourage and teach children in a safe, nurturing environment.

My name is Miss Michele, and I am a Teacher in the Sparkling Seahorses classroom. I have over 20 years experience working with children including personal experience raising my four children. I am excited to be here to help your children learn, and watch them grow. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is to love and care for each and every child.

Hi, my name is Miss Kym. I am the Lead Teacher in the Darling Dolphins Infant Class. I have over 20 years experience working with infants and toddlers. I have completed my Child Development Associates certification for infants and toddlers and have worked at The Goddard School for the past 22 years. I am an active member of NAEYC. I hope to fill your child's time with fun learning experiences at The Goddard School. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is to comfort a child and make the atmosphere happy.

My name is Miss Melissa, I am Teacher in the Terrific Turtles, Toddler classroom. I have over 21 years of experience teaching children, including raising 5 children of my own. I am excited to be a part of the Goddard School and I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is keep calm.

My name is Miss Carolyne, and I am a Teacher in the Lovely Lobsters Bridge classroom. I graduated Monmouth University with a BA in Art and have worked with children for over 18 years. I believe children's faces should light up when they walk into a classroom. I am happy to be part of the Goddard School team and I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is be happy and loving to a child.

My name is Mr. Justin and I am the School Age Support Teacher. I am a former Goddard School graduate and am thrilled to have the opportunity to teach this generation of children. I am currently enrolled in college to get my teaching degree. My experience was gained in Boy Scouts by training the younger scouts on my way to achieving my Eagle Scout. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is show patience and discover which learning technique is best for each child.

Hi, my name is Miss Beth, and I am a Classroom Trainer & Building Floater. I train staff in ITERS & ECERS and help all the classroom teachers be their very best. I have a Child Development Associate Credential and have over 10 years of experience working with young children and their families. I also have hands on experience raising my young daughter! I am happy to be here to help your children learn and watch them grow. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is nurture, love and teach by example.

My name is Miss Diane and I am currently the kitchen executive and part of the support staff. I spent my career working with young children. I have over nineteen years of experience in the profession of Early Childhood Education. I enjoy guiding children as they reach their developmental goals. My name is Mr. Jack and I am part of the support staff and a Summer Camp Lead Teacher for the school-aged children. I am currently attending Caldwell University to obtain my Bachelors Degree in Education were I play lacrosse for the Caldwell University Men Team. I gained my experience assisting with the school age classrooms as a summer camp counselor. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is teach respect by showing respect.

My name is Miss Tori and I am a part of the support staff. I currently attend college working toward my Bachelor's Degree in Health Science at Stockton University, with the end goal of becoming an LPN or Pediatric Nurse. I am so excited to be a part of the Goddard family and look forward to working with all these wonderful children. My name is Miss Jadyn and I am a teacher in the Lovely Lobsters, Bridge Classroom. I’ve worked with children for over 5 years. This helped me decide to further my education, I will be working toward my CDA and plan on majoring in Early Childhood Education with the goal of becoming a Kindergarten teacher. I’ve worked with the Goddard family before and I am so glad to be back forging relationships with the Toms River Goddard school! My name is Miss Justina and I am an assistant teacher in the Darling Dolphins classroom. I have gained experience babysitting various ages for over five years. I am excited to be a part of the Goddard family. I believe the most important thing a teacher could do for a child is be patient and provide a loving and safe environment.

My name is Miss Marissa and I am the lead teacher in the Wonderful Whales Toddler classroom. I have over 12 years of experience in childcare, including 8 years working at another Goddard School. I am deeply committed to making a positive impact on each child that I care for and I am working toward my CDA Credential. As a proud mom of two, I understand the importance of creating a nuturing and supportive environment for children to thrive!

My name is Miss Amanda and I am a teacher in the Jolly Jellyfish Two's Classroom. I have my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education with a major in Child Psychology. I have over 12 years of childcare experience from being a speech therapist to running my own child lead music, sensory, art and cooking classes. I'm a mother of two beautiful girls with a passion of teaching children of all ages.

My name is Miss Jean and I am a teacher in the Terrific Turtles Toddler Classroom. I was a police officer in Manalapan Township for 21 years. I played soccer and softball at Georgian Court College, where I was an All-American in both sports. I have been married for 14 years and have 3 amazing children. I'm a very busy hockey mom and I love every minute of it. I have always wanted to work with children and now that I am no longer working in the police force, I can do what I have always wanted to do, snuggle all of the babies!

My name is Miss Jennifer and I am a part of the support staff. I am currently a senior in high school, attending the vocational school where I am working towards my CDA Credential. I've always had a passion for working with children and being a part of their growth and development. I am so excited to keep learning and growing in this field and I look forward to making a positive impact on every child I work with.

My name is Miss Katie and I am the assistant teacher in the Fantastic Fish Twos classroom. I have worked with children of various ages for over 7 years and I want to do it for the rest of my life. I am currently working toward my CDA Credential. Outside of teaching I love to cook and do makeup to express myself. I believe the most important thing a teacher can do is be kind and understanding to the children in their care.
