    My name is Mrs. Sameen and I’m the on-site owner of the Goddard School in Mount Laurel which I own together with my husband. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Science & Disorders and a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology. As a speech therapist I was conducting 1:1 therapies and creating individualized treatment plans for each child. My passion has always been to nurture young minds and help them grow into better individuals. Together our goal is to continue making your family’s Goddard experience exceptional, providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for your children to become confident learners as they develop. We welcome you to our school and center!

    Director
    Ms. Michelle has been with The Goddard School for over 6 years and has been the Pre-School 1, Pre-School 2, Kindergarten Teacher, Assistant Director and is now the Director of our School. Ms. Michelle has her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Literature from Stockton University. She loves to experience the excitement of reading with children and believes that if teaching isn't fun, then learning won't be fun. Ms. Michelle loves teaching and now has the opportunity to pass along her knowledge and experience to our teachers as she guides them in the tools and training they need to make the school successful. Ms. Michelle loves to spend time with her husband Tony and two girls, Ellie and Addie, who both went to the Goddard School. She also loves to go to the beach and travel to new places.

    Assistant Director
    Ms. April is the Lead Teacher in our Younger Pre-School 1 classroom and currently our Assitant Director as well, and has been with the Goddard School since 2010. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a concentration in Child Behavior Services. Ms. April loves to interact with the children in her class through music and movement and provides a variety of creative activities that get kids moving. She also loves to read to her students, in particular, Eric Carle and Dr. Suess books, which are always captivating to kids. Miss April has a calming personality and demeanor which allows toddlers to both thrive and to feel safe. In her free time, April enjoys spending time with her energetic children, Mason and Cooper, and her husband, Jeff. She loves to run, watch movies and bake with her sons.

    Infant Lead Teacher
    We are so lucky to have Ms. Christina as our Lead Infant Teacher. Ms. Christina has been with us for 2 years now and has 7 years of babysitting experience. Ms. Christina loves building confidence in children. If they love themselves and feel confident in who they are and how they're doing things, then she knows she's making an impact. She believes in praise, positive reinforcement and lending a guiding hand to children. The most rewarding part of being a teacher are the smiles, laughter and excitement she sees when children do something for themselves or finally get something that they've worked hard for. Ms. Christina has 3 children of her own, 7, 5 and 2, all who attend the Goddard School. When she's not at work, Ms. Christina loves to attend community events like parades and festivals and loves taking her kids to the park, aquarium and zoo. We are so lucky to have Ms. Christina leading our Infant Room!

    Infant Assistant Teacher
    Ms. Susmita graduated college with a B.SC. in Botony (make sure to ask her all of your plant questions!). She has over 10 years of childcare experience, starting at the Victoria Model School in India, and most recently in Cherry Hill, NJ. Ms. Susmita is currently an Assistant Teacher in our First Steps Classroom. Ms. Susmita loves to understand student's abilities, interests and prior knowledge so she can best help them. One of her favorite activities to do with kids is artwork, even with our youngest friends. When she's not at work, Ms. Susmita is cooking, spending time with her family and listening to music.

    Get Set Lead Teacher
    We are so happy to have Ms. Alexis as part of our Goddard Family. She joined us in the Summer of 2022 and has many years of babysitting experience. Ms. Alexis combines her sunny personality, warm smile and an enormous amount of love and patience for the older Toddlers in her care. You will always find her, at any time of the day, on the floor with the children, playing games, talking to them or reading stories. Ms. Alexis went to school for Fashion Design and loves being creative with the children, and in particular, loves doing art projects with them. She loves watching kids grow and seeing where they started when they joined her classroom and where they are when the move up to the next classroom. When she's not teaching, Ms. Alexis also works as a certified Lash Tech and loves exploring and going on nature walks with her sweet boy, Mykel.

    Pre-School 1 Lead Teacher
    Ms. Katherine joined our Goddard Family in the summer of 2022 as an Assistant Teacher in our Pre-School 2 classroom. She finished her degree in her home country of Columbia, majoring in Audiology. Her family has owned a childcare business in Columbia her whole life, so she grew up around teachers and started working at the center while in high school. More recently, Ms. Katherine taught at the Y in Princeton for 5 years. Ms. Katherine loves everything about working with kids. She believes that they teach her as much as she teaches them. She is always actively listening to her kids, and engaging them in some sort of art, writing, or science activity. When she's not teaching, Ms. Katherine loves to spend time with her husband and two beautiful daughters.

    Ms Lindsay

    Pre-School 2 Lead Teacher
    Ms. Lindsay has been with our Goddard School since 2004, over 19 years, and is currently the Lead Teacher in our Pre-School 2 classroom. Ms. Lindsay structures her class so the children learn through cause and effect and creative expression. Ms. Lindsay's favorite part about working at the Goddard School is getting to create artistic masterpieces with the children. You will also find her doing interesting Science experiments with the children. When she's not teaching, Ms. Lindsay loves outdoor activities, animals, music and art.

    Infant Assistant Teacher
    Hi, I'm Mrs. Simpa! I've been a part of the Goddard Family since summer 2023 as an Assistant Teacher in the Infant Classroom. I have a master’s degree in economics. Before joining the Goddard Family, I worked at another childcare center with various age groups. I am dedicated to establishing a secure and enjoyable atmosphere where children can freely explore, learn, and flourish!

    First Steps Assistant Teacher
    Hi! My name is Ms. Zaanae. I am 22yrs old and sort of new to Jersey. I am also the oldest out of 8 kids! If I’m not working, I’m either writing, reading or enjoying food. I love every second of what I do in the First Steps class! Every day is a new and great adventure with the kiddos, and I love watching them grow! Through my time here at the Goddard School I have realized that we have such a great impact on the kiddos and it's amazing to see how much they soak in at a young age.
