Our Goddard School Teachers

Mrs. Hiral, known to families as Mrs. H, is the on-site owner of The Goddard School of Raleigh - Creedmoor Road and is committed to The Goddard School’s mission of making the world a better place through early childhood education. Her goal is for every family to feel they have found a home away from home, where children discover the wonder of learning, build confidence and form lasting friendships. She holds the school to the highest standards of health, safety and security and makes sure every child is cared for by warm, compassionate and highly qualified teachers.

Miss Laticha is the Director and has worked with young children since 2007. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University and a master’s degree in Counseling from Grand Canyon University, giving her a strong understanding of how children grow, think and feel. She brings that understanding to leading the school and loves watching children learn and grow.

Miss Tracy is the Assistant Director of Education and has taught young children since 2007, joining Goddard in 2010. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Development from Georgia Southern University and a master’s degree in Birth to Kindergarten Education from Appalachian State University, expertise she brings to supporting teachers and learning in every classroom.

Miss Lauren is an Infant Teacher who has worked in early childhood education since 2010 and holds a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Grand Canyon University. Her favorite part of teaching is guiding infants through their many milestones while building strong relationships with them and their parents.

Miss Cameron is an Infant Teacher who joined Goddard in October 2023. She completed her Certified Nursing Assistant program in 2020 and spent three years as a nanny, bringing a medical background and hands-on caregiving experience to the infant classroom. She loves bonding with each infant and watching them grow.

Miss Ouafae is the First Steps Teacher and has worked with children since she was 16. She is pursuing her education in early childhood and loves watching young learners explore their world, giving them hands-on opportunities to discover and practice new skills every day.

Mrs. Upasana is the Pre-Toddler Teacher and has worked with children since 2019, joining Goddard in 2025. She holds a degree in Chemistry from Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya in India and finds teaching deeply rewarding. Dr. Seuss books are her favorite to read with children.

Ms. Danelsy graduated from Grover Cleveland High School. She is currently working on her CDA Credentials. She has been working with children since 2017. In her free time she enjoys reading books and spending time with her daughter. Her favorite children's book is Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See? She loves teaching because she enjoys watching the kids learn and discover new things.

Ms. Kaitlyn has been working with children since 2021. She has been with Goddard since 2022. She is very passionate about teaching and loves seeing her children learn something new every day. She especially loves to read and sing with her class. Her favorite children's book is A Bad Case of the Stripes by David Shannon.

Ms. Naiya graduated from Shaw University with a degree in Business Administration: Management. She has been working with children since 2023. In her free time she enjoys working on her business, crafting and designing. Her favorite children's books are Llama Llama Red Pajama and If You Give a Mouse a Cookie. She loves teaching because she enjoys seeing the growth and development of the children and watching as they discover new things.

Ms. Gracie is continuing her education and pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education. She has been working with children since 2024. In her free time she enjoys reading, doing arts and crafts, playing Fortnite and going outside. She loves the Pete the Cat book Series. She loves teaching because she can see their personalities blossom.

Mrs. Brittney graduated from the Bright Horizons CDA Program. She completed the CDA Credentials and Licensed Esthetician. She has been working with children since 2016. She started at Goddard in 2025. In her free time she likes to do make up and spend time with her boys. Her favorite children's book is The Very Hungry Caterpillar. She says she loves teaching because she gets to help children learn and understand material and gain confidence in themselves. She believes it is not just about the lesson but about making a difference in someone's life.

Ms. Kellise graduated from University of North Carolina Greensboro with a degree in Social Work. She started at Goddard in 2026. In her free time she enjoys listening to music and podcasts, going for walks and completing puzzles. She is also an Assistant Coach for a Junior Cheerleading League. Her favorite children's book is Where The Wild Things Are. She loves teaching because she loves meeting new kids and making them feel seen and heard.

Ms. Neita graduated from Ashworth College with an Associates of Science degree in Early Childhood Education and Child Development. She has been working in education since 2005. She started at Goddard in September 2021. In her free time she loves to watch movies, especially Christmas movies. She says she loves teaching because she can make a positive impact on children's lives. She finds joy in seeing them learn and grow. She also enjoys connecting and interacting and engaging with students.

Ms. Shertonia (Ms. Toni) graduated from Enloe High School. She has been working in education since 2018. She started at Goddard in July of 2025. In her free time she enjoys doing finger crochet and volunteer work. Her favorite children's book is The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. She enjoys teaching because she gets to help expand the minds of the future.

Ms. Majda earned her Child Development Associate Credential in 2021. She has worked in the early education field since 2021. She has worked at Goddard since July 2024. In her free time she enjoys baking, walking and reading. Ms. Majda says she has a passion for children and loves spending time helping them grow and learn.

Kisha earned her Bachelor's Degree in Early Care and Education from UNC Greensboro. She has been teaching since 1996. She has worked at Goddard since August of 2021. In her free time she enjoys shopping, eating and spending time with her family. She also enjoys journaling and meditating. She says she loves teaching because she can see the positive impact she has on children's development and in their lives.

Ms. Karen graduated from Eastern University in Business Management. She has been working with children since 2018. In her free time she enjoys going on outings with her children, reading and going for walks. Her favorite children's book is The Gruffalo. She loves teaching because it gives her the opportunity to make a difference in children's lives.

Ms. Pam earned her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Marywood University in Scranton, PA and her Master's degree in Classroom Technology from Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, PA. She has experience working with children since 2001. Ms. Pam loves teaching children and seeing them develop physically, cognitively, emotionally and socially. Originally from Pennsylvania, she moved to Raleigh with her husband, son, and two dogs. In her spare time, she loves to read, travel and spend time with family.

Loresa has been working in education since 1995. She has been working at Goddard since March 2026. In her free time she loves kayak, hike, bake and do crafts. Her favorite children's book is The Little Blue Truck. She loves teaching because she loves to see the children's eyes and their surprise reactions to new skills being learned each day.

Kayla is currently attending North Carolina Central studying Early Childhood Education and Business. She has been in the childcare field since 2022. She started working at Goddard in 2025. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, shopping, and traveling. She loves teaching because she looks forward to seeing the children grow while having fun learning!

Ms. Sophie graduated from Leesville Road High School and is currently attending Wake Technical Community College. She has been working with children since 2025. In her free time she enjoys going fishing, going to the beach and spending time with family and friends. Her favorite children's book is Harold and the Purple Crayon. She loves teaching because she loves seeing the children smile and learn new things.

Ms. Skylar graduated from Wake Technical Community College with a degree in Nursing. She has been working with children since 2023. In her free time she enjoys reading books and binge watching shows. Her favorite children's book is The Very Hungry Caterpillar. She loves teaching because she loves watching children grow brings her joy.
