    After being a part of the Triangle community for over twenty years, I am proud to open The Goddard School. Having raised two children, I recognize how valuable it is to set a solid foundation for children in their early years of learning. I love building great connections with parents, families, children and my team. My vision for the school is to provide stimulating child care that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.

    Sue has her degree in Early Childhood Education and has been in childcare for 30 years. She has been a teacher, Assistant Director and Director. In her private time, she loves spending time with family and traveling the world. Born and raised in North Carolina. Love the Tar-heels and Kanas City football.

    Ms. Taylor has over 10+ years experience in childhood education. She has been with Goddard 5401 North for over a year. Ms. Taylor graduated from Elon University with two degrees – Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Bachelor of Science in Music Production & Recording Arts. She maintains a current NC teaching license. She has taught in the classroom focusing on a range of content teaching learners of all levels. She also served on the WCPSS STEM Leadership Curriculum committee to develop STEM lessons and resources for K-12 teachers. Ms. Taylor loves helping children learn and finding new ways to teach concepts.

    Ms. Abi has 10+ years of childcare experience and has been with Goddard for over a year. She is passionate about creating a nurturing, supportive, and engaging environment where every child can thrive. Ms. Abi loves caring for children because she gets to play a role in their physical and mental growth. She especially loves cheering them on as they learn new things and reach important developmental milestone. Some fun facts about Ms. Abi are that she loves strawberries, enjoys spending time with her dog, Jackson, and her niece, Charlotte, and has a passion for crafting.

    First Steps Lead Teacher
    Ms. Maria has over 7 years of childcare experience and has been with Goddard for 1 year. She loves working in childcare because of the genuine love and joy she receives from working with kids every day, which makes the work truly rewarding. Ms. Maria is originally from Venezuela and also teaches Spanish with the curriculum. Some fun facts about Ms. Maria are that she enjoys spending time outdoors, biking, and reading.

    Ms. Emily has 3+ years of childcare experience and has been with Goddard 5401 for over a year. She loves creating a fun, safe, and caring environment where every child can learn and grow. Ms. Emily loves working in childcare because she enjoys taking care of the children as if they were her own and helping them learn and thrive every day. Some fun facts about Ms. Emily are that she loves listening to music, shopping, and working on her car.
