    We are now OPEN! After being a part of the Triangle community for over twenty years, it is truly a dream come true for Mona to open a new Goddard School! Having raised two children herself, she recognizes how valuable it is to set a solid foundation for children in their early years of learning. She firmly believes that children enjoy learning in a nurturing and creative environment. Mona earned her Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts as well as an Associate Degree in Graphic Design. Early in her career, as a Graphic Designer, she primarily focused on working with elementary schools and community colleges in the area. She puts forth a unique blend of her education, coupled with her personal and professional experiences, to build an amazing Goddard School. Mona is proficient in interpersonal skills and loves building great human connections with parents, families, children and her staff. Her vision for the school is to provide stimulating premier child care that promotes social, emotional, physical and cognitive development in addition to offering our children and teachers a creative environment to reach their full potential.

    Director
    Kimberly was introduced to the field of early childhood after becoming a nanny while taking the summer off before moving to Germany. Over the last 25 years, Kimberly has worked in many different roles in the early childhood field to now being the Director here at Goddard School of Raleigh @ 5401 North. She earned her Master’s Degree in Early Childhood and her Level III NC Administrative Credentials. She has enjoyed assisting centers in the past that have needed assistance earning their star rated licenses from the North Carolina Division of Early Childhood Education. Kimberly is dedicated to the field of early childhood and loves being inspired by the teachers she gets to know and work with. Kimberly is excited about being here and is looking forward to being on this journey with you.

    Assistant Director
    Meet Ms. Erica, She is originally from Syracuse NY, but moved to NC in 1994. She then attended and graduated from Millbrook High school. Mrs. Erica started in childcare as a nanny and then decided to work in a child care center with children from birth to school age. She received her Associates in Early Childhood Education at Wake Technical Community College in 2017. She has also worked as a Director of an Academy for 2 years. She has been happily married for 12 years and is a mother to 5 biological and stepchildren. She is currently a senior at North Carolina Central University where she is finishing her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She loves teaching art to children and allowing them to discover their talents through their own experiences.

    Please meet Anissa Stweart-Jiles. She has lived in the Raleigh area since 2013. Her journey on the path of Early Childhood Education began over 26 years ago when she enrolled her daughter in an early childhood center. Anissa found herself enjoying the time in the classroom interacting with the children and teaching them her favorite fingerplays. Working with children since then became a passion of hers and to watch them grow and develop is one of the best feelings. Along with her daughter, she also has twins (a son and a daughter) that are both serving as Corporals in the United States Marine Corp, and she is a grandmother of 4! She is so excited to be here at the Goddard School and is looking forward to getting to know everyone.

    Assistant Teacher
    Ms Tomyra has been working with children for 4 years. The reason she loves working with children is to see their growth especially during their 12 month stage. She also loves to relax and be with her family. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Business and Photography from LIving Arts College and earned her NC ECE credentials from Stanly Community College. She is excited to be at The Goddard School.
