Welcome to The Goddard School! Living in the triangle for my entire life, I have seen tremendous growth in this area and feel privileged to be able to provide a preschool experience that is educational and nurturing at the same time. My background in business management started this wonderful journey for me. During my first pregnancy, I turned my focus to early childhood education in hopes of providing a quality preschool experience for my own child and others. I spent four years as an infant and toddler teacher after completing several courses and receiving my NC Credentials. I enjoyed my years in the classroom but look forward to the new challenges ahead. As part owner, and a parent of three children who attended this school, I have an open door for parents and teachers. My goal is to make the early educational experiences for the children of the school positive and nurturing in every way so they develop a strong foundation that starts them on a journey of knowledge.

As a parent of two children, I recognize the importance of providing a quality preschool program in a safe, nurturing and loving environment. I have a Bachelors degree in Accounting and Economics and a Masters degree in Education. I taught infants, toddlers, and preschoolers for several years. As an educator, I can appreciate how Goddard's curriculum develops the whole child, and builds a great foundation that fosters a love for learning. As a mom, I am reminded everyday how precious our little ones are, and that they deserve the best each and every day. I look forward to meeting new families, and providing our children with a positive and enriching preschool experience.

Welcome to the Goddard School! My journey in childcare began in 2006 as a part time floater and built from there! I have worked in every classroom, with every age group, and contribute these experiences to a solid foundation of understanding the "ins and outs" of a positive preschool environment. I am proud to lead a team of professionals who show passion and pride in their work every day and believe that this creates a positive classroom environment for each and every child. I have worked for The Goddard School in Fuquay-Varina since 2012 and have a Goddard graduate and a current Goddard student. I chose the Goddard School for my employment AND for my children based on the focus of the whole child. I appreciate that my children get to be children here, all while building a strong foundation and love for learning.

Ms. Vicks has a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, is from Georgia, and has worked in childcare since 2008. She began her tenure at The Goddard School in Fuquay-Varina in 2021 as a two-year old teacher and continues to be in that role on a part time basis, along with supporting the administrative team as Assistant Director. She believes in meeting children at their level because all children are unique. In her free time, she loves going to the beach, attending cookouts, and spending time with family and friends.

Ms. Amanda is here and there and everywhere! She provides support wherever it's needed- in the office, in the classrooms, and all around the building. She is originally from Colorado and moved here to NC in 2021 where she began her childcare journey at The Goddard School of Fuquay-Varina. She enjoys getting to know each child and each family, and is known by all of the children for her drawer full of stickers! In her free time, Amanda enjoys reading, drawing, painting, running and playing video games.

Abby is a Fuquay-Varina native who is studying at Wake Tech, working towards an Associates Degree in Arts. She began working in childcare and at The Goddard School of Fuquay-Varina in 2022 and enjoys getting to know each child and watching them grow into their own person. In her free time, Abby enjoys spending time with her family and going to concerts and traveling.

Ana is one of our Pre-Kindergarten teachers! She has an associate's degree in Early Childhood Education and has worked in childcare since 2019. She has been a faculty member at The Goddard School in Fuquay-Varina since 2021. She loves being able to teach children new things, and loves how proudly the children share what they have learned with their parents. She spends her free time working out and hanging out with her three children.

Mrs. Becky is one of our infant teachers. She is from Buies Creek, North Carolina and holds an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. She has worked in childcare and for The Goddard School in Fuquay-Varina since 2019. She enjoys getting to know each child's personality. In her free time, Mrs. Becky enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and writing.

Cameron is a Fuquay native and currently attending Central Carolina Community College studying Medical Sonography. She began working in childcare and for The Goddard School of Fuquay-Varina in 2023 and enjoys seeing the children everyday and making a connection with them. She is fulfilled seeing the children remember things that she taught them and loves to see them learn something new every day. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with friends, and going on hikes with her dog.

Mrs. Chante is one of our Kindergarten Prep teachers. She has worked as a preschool teacher since 2008 and received her education from Wake Technical Community College. She has been a faculty member for The Goddard School in Fuquay-Varina since 2021! Chante loves to watch children develop through all of their various stages. In her free time, she enjoys shopping, going to the beach, and hanging out with family and friends.

Ms. Dixie is from Raleigh and attends Wake Tech, working towards an Associate in Arts. She hopes to continue her academic journey at UNC Charlotte and obtain a bachelors degree in social work! She has been working in childcare and with The Goddard School in Fuquay-Varina since 2022 and enjoys seeing their big smile with they come to school. She loves to see their face light up when they learn or experience something new. Most of all, she enjoys watching children grow and getting to know each child for their unique personality. In her free time, she enjoys shopping, watching shows & movies, traveling, swimming, the beach, amusement parks, and spending time with family and friends.

Jenna is one of our infant teachers. She is from Dunn, North Carolina and has the Early Childhood Education Credential. She has worked in childcare since 2021 and has been with The Goddard School of Fuquay-Varina since 2022. Jenna loves being around children and is inspired by their imaginations and pure happiness. In her free time, she enjoys working out, riding four-wheelers, going to the beach, and hanging with her dogs.

Ms. Karina is one of our afternoon floaters! She is a student at Campbell University where she is pursuing a degree in Child Psychology. She has worked in childcare and has been with The Goddard School in Fuquay-Varina since 2021. Karina enjoys with with children and getting to know their unique personalities. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, painting, spending time with family and friends, and creating new adventures!

Kendra is a Fuquay-Varina native and is attending Wake Tech studying Business Administration along with Early Childhood Education. She joined The Goddard School in Fuquay-Varina team in 2023 and enjoys exploring every child's individuality. She loves to see how every child learns and adapts to things differently. In her free time, she likes to travel, go to concerts, and spend time with her two dogs.

Mrs. Larnetta is one of our Preschool teachers! She has worked in childcare since 2008 and received her education from Wake Technical Community College. She has been a faculty member of The Goddard School since 2019. Mrs. Larnetta enjoys helping children reach their full potential, and feels accomplished when they learn something new that she taught them. In her free time, Mrs. Larnetta enjoys spending time with her children, traveling, cooking, and listening to music.

Martha is originally from North Carolina and has been working in childcare and for The Goddard School since 2021. She loves working with children because each day is a new experience. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, fishing, and relaxing with her family and friends.

Mrs. Mary is one of our infant teachers. Mary has a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development and over 30 years of experience in early childhood education. She has been at The Goddard School since it opened in 2008. She enjoys teaching young children because each day is something new. She gets a great feeling of satisfaction when children grasp a concept that she has taught them. In her free time, Mary enjoys traveling, playing word games, exercising and cooking with her family.

Ms. Sarah is one of our infant teachers. She received a B.S. in Deaf Studies at Carolina University and has a minor in Early Childhood Education. She is originally from upstate New York but has lived most of her life in the triangle area. She has worked in childcare since 2012 and for The Goddard School of Fuquay-Varina since 2020. She loves to see children grow and learn new things- the "lightbulb moment" is her favorite! In her free time, she enjoys being active in her Church, crafting, reading, and music.

Mrs. Senait is part of our support staff and the ever-popular cook. The children light up as she brings them their lunch everyday... we know the way to our children's hearts!! She has been a part of The Goddard School in Fuquay-Varina family since 2013. In her free time Senait enjoys reading, cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Tracy is one of our preschool teachers! She has an associate degree in Veterinary Medicine and Early Childhood Education! She has worked in childcare and for The Goddard School of Fuquay-Varina since 2021. She loves to make a positive difference in children's lives and watching them blossom into their full potential. Tracy enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with her two sons.

Ms. Mina is one of our two year old teachers! She is working towards her associates degree in Early Childhood Education and has over 40 years of Early Childhood experience. She feels fulfilled watching children learn and grow. Ms. Mina enjoys going to Church, watching movies, playing softball, throwing horseshoes, and grilling out with her family and friends.

Ms. Yissel is from Angier and is attending Wake Tech in pursuit of a nursing degree. She has worked in childcare and for The Goddard School of Fuquay-Varina, where she loves seeing the different personalities of the children and being someone who they look forward to seeing. In her free time, she enjoys going to the gym and hanging out with loved ones.
