Our Goddard School Teachers

Mr. John is the proud owner of The Goddard School at Highland Creek. He is passionate about providing high-quality early childhood education and creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn and grow. Mr. John is proud to have two Goddard graduate children, which makes his connection to the school community even more meaningful. Mr. John enjoys spending time with his family and making lasting memories together. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, snowboarding, and golfing. Mr. John also loves football and is a diehard Baltimore Ravens fan!

Ms. Jennifer is our Executive Director. She has a BS in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Early Childhood Education and has her level 3 NC Early Childhood Administration Credentials. Ms. Jennifer is pursuing her master's degree in BK Interdisciplinary Studies in Education and Development with a concentration in Early Childhood Leadership and Program Administration. Ms. Jennifer has worked at the Goddard School since October 2012.

Ms. Lindsey is our Program Director and has been working in the field of early childhood education since 2010. She joined The Goddard School in August 2018 and has a true passion for creating a welcoming, supportive environment for children and families. One of Ms. Lindsey’s favorite parts of being a Director is watching children grow from the moment they first walk through our doors and celebrating all of the special milestones along the way. She takes pride in knowing each child by name and building meaningful, lasting relationships with both new and current families. Outside of school, Ms. Lindsey enjoys spending time with her children, working on homework as she continues her own education, and, of course, shopping! Fun Fact: Ms. Lindsey considers Goddard her HOME away from HOME! ??

Ms. Emileen is our Assistant Director. She has worked in the field of education since 2003 and has been employed with Goddard since July 2018. Ms. Emileen loves the joy, curiosity and excitement that children bring to the classroom every day. Building meaningful relationships with them and watching their unique personalities shine is one of my favorite parts of being a teacher. Ms. Emileen loves reading with the classrooms because there is something special about gathering together and getting lost in a good story. She enjoys using different voices and expressions to bring characters to life making reading fun and exciting. Outside of school Ms. Emileen enjoys reading, camping and baking. A fun fact about Ms. Emileen is her and her husband once took a "Why Not?" trip and flew all the way to Munich, Germany for a quick adventure! They spent 72 hours exploring Bavaria before hoping back on a plane and heading home... because sometimes the best adventures start with..."Why Not?"

Ms. Erica is our Administrative Assistant. Ms. Erica has worked in the early childhood field since 2012 and has been with the Goddard School since April 2019. Ms. Erica loves watching the children learn new things and hit many milestones. Ms. Erica loves a good, messy art craft! Outside of school she enjoys exercising and spending time with her family. A fun fact about Ms. Erica, is she ate ground beef, rice and broccoli for dinner for an entire month!

Ms. Tarsha is our Fabulous Kitchen Manager. She has been in the field of education for 22 years and has been employed at Goddard since May 2012. Ms. Tarsha loves seeing the children learn, grow and have fun. She loves how excited they get when she comes into the classroom and when they begin to learn to say her name. Ms. Tarsha favorite thing to do for the children is making extra treats and making pancakes for Pizza Friday. Outside of school Ms. Tarsha enjoys going to social events, planning activities, going to festivals, concerts and spending time with her family. A fun fact about Ms. Tarsha is she enjoys creative planning especially when it involves church and fun activities.

Ms. Heather is a lead teacher in our Cuddly Cubs (Infant) classroom. She has worked in the field of education since 1999 and has been employed with Goddard since December 2018. Mrs. Heather loves helping the babies to grow and become independent. She loves reading books with the children, playing on the floor and doing cute handprint and footprint art crafts. Outside of school Ms. Heather enjoys traveling with her husband and spending time with her children and dogs. A fun fact about Ms. Heather is she was in the same kindergarten class as her husband and their class photo is hanging up in their living room.

Ms. Taylyn is one of our Cuddly Cubs (Infant) teachers. Ms. Taylyn has worked in the education field since 2025 and joined the Goddard June 2026. Taylyn loves building relationships with the children and getting to watch them learn and grow. Ms. Taylyn's favorite thing to do with her class is laugh, a good laugh is always needed. Outside of school Taylyn enjoys shopping at the mall or online. A fun fact about Ms. Taylyn is she loves all things Disney but has never gone to Disney world.

Ms. Zoe is one of our Teachers in the Marvelous Monkeys (Younger Ones) Classroom. Ms. Zoe has worked in the education field since 2021 and joined the Goddard September 2025. Ms. Zoe loves how creative children can be when the right tools are placed in front of them. Zoe loves exploring new sensory materials through art. Outside of school Ms. Zoe enjoys reading books and playing video games. A fun fact about Ms. Zoe is she was born with six fingers on her right hand (I am currently down to 5!)

Ms. Bre is one of our teachers in the Marvelous Monkeys Classroom. Ms. Bre has worked in the education field since 2024 and joined the Goddard July 2026. Ms. Bre loves watching the children grow as they learn new things. Her favorite thing to do with her class is making the little ones laugh. Outside of school she enjoys spending time with her dog. A fun fact about Ms. Bre is she is very SPONTANEOUS!

Ms. Sarah is one of our wonderful teachers in our Eager Elephant classroom. Ms. Sarah has worked in the education field since 2018 and has been employed with Goddard since November 2023. Ms. Sarah loves watching the children learn and develop new skills. Sarah's favorite thing to do with her class is music activities and art crafts. Outside of school she enjoys spending time with her family and cooking. A fun fact about Ms. Sarah is English is not her first language, so sometimes her pronunciation can be funny.

Ms. Jalliyah is one of our wonderful teachers in our Eager Elephant classroom. Ms. Jalliyah graduated from Rockaway Collegiate High School in 2025. She is currently enrolled at Rowan Cabarrus Community College for Early Childhood Education. Ms. Jalliyah has worked in the education field since 2025 and joined the Goddard May 2025. Her favorite children's song is The Freeze Dance. In her free time, she enjoys watching Netflix and taking walks.

Mrs. Niki is one of our wonderful Jolly Giraffe (Younger Two's) teacher's. Mrs. Niki has completed her CDA, and has interest in pursuing her education in the Early Education Field. Ms. Niki strongly believes children need that strong figure in their lives, because it is very important to their development. Ms. Niki enjoys interacting and helping to build a foundation for children. Ms. Niki has been employed with Goddard since March 2023.

Ms. Mani is one of our wonderful Jolly Giraffe (Younger Two's) teacher's. Ms. Mani joined the Goddard August 2026 and has worked in the education field since 2025. Mani loves the curiosity of learning; she loves the energy that children bring to the classroom and she loves making her little one's smile. Ms. Mani favorite thing to do with her class is creative arts crafts, and projects that allow the children to express themselves. Outside of school Mani enjoys spending time with her family and relaxing while reading a good book. A fun fact about Ms. Mani is she loves to talk a lot!

Ms. Taty is one of our teachers in our Terrific Turtles (Older Two's) classroom. Ms. Taty joined the Goddard August 2026 and has worked in the education field since 2025. Ms. Taty loves showing the children unconditional love and getting the opportunity to grow a little mind. Her favorite thing to do with the children is to help guide them during confusing or difficult times. Outside of school Taty enjoys drawing, journaling, being outside with nature and going to the gym. A fun fact about Taty is she knows how to draw very well, when she is super focused!

Ms. Cloe is one of our Lead Teachers in our Fabulous Flamingos (Younger Three's) classroom. Ms. Cloe graduated from Northwest Cabarrus High School and is starting college classes at Rowan Cabarrus Community College in Fall of 2024. Ms. Cloe started working with children in 2020 and has been employed with Goddard since November 2023. Cloe's favorite children's song is "You are my Sunshine" and in her free time she enjoys drawing, painting, crocheting, and reading.

Ms. Mia is one of our wonderful teachers in our Fabulous Flamingo's (Younger Three's) classroom.

Ms. Evie is one of our Lead Teachers in our Happy Hippo's (Older Three's) classroom. Ms. Evie has her North Carolina Credentials and is working towards an associate's degree. She started working with children in 2022 and has been employed with Goddard since August 2024. Evie's favorite children's song is "Why Should I Worry" by Billy Joel from Oliver and Company and in her free time she enjoys reading and playing video games.

Ms. Kensy is one of our Teachers in our Happy Hippo's (Older Three's) classroom. Ms. Kensy graduated Montgomery Central High School om 2025. She is currently enrolled at Grand Canyon University pursuing a degree in English for Secondary Education. Ms. Kensy joined the Goddard May 2025. Her favorite children's song is The Itsy-Bitsy Spider. In her free time, she enjoys baking and reading books.

Ms. Kalpita is one of our Lead Teachers in our Zany Zebra's Classroom. Ms. Kalpita has a Master's in English Literature. Ms. Kalpita has worked in the education field since 2024 and has been employed with Goddard since October 2024. Her favorite children's song is Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music and playing pickle ball with her family.

Ms. Krystal is one of our teachers in our Zany Zebra's Classroom. She graduated with an associate's in dance in 2019 from Alvin Ailey School of Dance in New York City. Ms. Krystal received her certification in Behavioral Tech in 2019. She has worked in the education field since 2019 and joined the Goddard School February 2024. Her favorite color is Pink, in her free time she loves to dance and roller skate.

Ms. Maliyah is one of our lead teacher's in our Loveable Lion's Classroom. Ms. Maliyah has completed her Associates in Applied Science degree in Early Childhood Development from Rowan Cabarrus Community College. Ms. Maliyah started working at The Goddard School in December 2021. Ms. Maliyah's favorite children's song is "The Criss-Cross Song" and she enjoys shopping in her free time!

Ms. Jade is one of our Teachers in our Loveable Lions classroom. She recently graduated from Ardrey Kell High School in June 2024. Jade is currently enrolled at South Piedmont Community College majoring in Education. Jade has worked in the education field since 2022 and joined the Goddard September 2024. Her favorite children's song is Do You Wanna Build a Snowman. In her free time, she enjoys shopping.

Ms. Madison is one of our Educational Support Staff. She graduated from Pittsford Mendon High School in 2021 and plans to pursue a degree in the field of Education in the near future. Madison is passionate about working with children and enjoys helping them learn, grow, and gain confidence each day. Her favorite children’s song is “Baby Shark.” In her free time, she loves spending quality time with her family and making lasting memories together.

Ms. Barbara is an Educational Support Staff at our school. Barbara earned a BA in Mathematics from the University of Northern Iowa and numerous years of experience in the field of education. She has been employed with Goddard since September 2014, and believes that each child is special and just needs the right environment to reach their full potential.

Mr. Logan is one of our Educational Support Staff. Logan has his high school diploma and is interested in pursuing his Education in the Early Childhood Field. Logan has a three year old daughter and has been employed with Goddard since October 2023. Logan is a resource to all of our classrooms especially in our older two year old classroom and has been exceptional since bringing him aboard in October 2023. Mr. Logan's favorite children's song is "Itsy Bitsy Spider" and in his free time he enjoys spending time with his daughter.

Mr. Cameron is our Steam Educator. Mr. Cameron is currently continuing his education in Early Childhood Education. Mr. Cameron loves to help out in every room of the school, interacting with all the children, and learning all about new families. Mr. Cameron and been employed with the Goddard School since September 2022.

Ms. Amanda is one of our Educational Support Staff. Ms. Amanda graduated from Rowan Cabarrus Community College majoring in Vet Assistant. After graduating, she decided she would rather work with children and is considering going back to getting a degree in Speech Pathology. She has been employed with us since October 2024. Her favorite children's song is The Itsy-Bitsy Spider. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and baking sweets.
