    We are happy to introduce Geetika Gupta, on-site owner of The Goddard School® located at 2385 Kildaire Farm Road, Cary NC. As a mother of two children, Geetika recognizes the importance of a safe and nurturing learning environment, which is why she chose The Goddard School. She is proud to offer the opportunity for children to grow through exploration and hands-on learning. Geetika holds a bachelor’s degree in biology and has also completed her substitute effective teacher training from Wake Technical Community College. In her spare time, Geetika likes traveling with her family and enjoys exploring new places. She also loves watching football, soccer and tennis. She loves to celebrate special occasions and spend quality time with her friends and family. “Children learn best through play,” says Geetika. “I am thrilled to be able to provide a fun, play-based learning experience for the children in my community.” Geetika invites your family to visit the beautiful new School in Cary.

    Ms. Sheetal is the proud owner of The Goddard School of Cary Lochmere. Sheetal and her husband, Sandeep, have lived in the Triangle since 2004 and have been part of the Cary community since 2010. As a of mom of two boys who were enrolled in a preschool since they were infants she brings the unique perspective of a parent for providing a safe and nurturing environment along with a strong learning foundation. Being a soccer family, where her husband is a volunteer soccer coach and both her boys play soccer, and a family that loves to travel, she understands the importance of introducing children to different experiences early on in their childhood. She has a Master’s in Business Administration and has worked for more than 15 years in Information Technology prior to starting on her entrepreneurial journey. If not greeting the families at the front, she is usually found in the classrooms playing and having fun with her little friends!

    School Director
    Ms. Rebecca is our dynamic Center Director. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Bennett College in Greensboro, NC with over 30 years of experience in the Early Childhood Education field and is Admin Level3 certified! She has worked for Goddard Schools for a collective experience of 5 and half years and joined our school when she moved back to Apex, NC. She loves working with children and their families. She enjoys watching them grow and develop, learning new things and the joy it brings to the parents when a new task has been achieved. In her free time she enjoys watching sporting events with her family and shopping especially at home stores! Our seasonal front lobby decorations are creative gems all thanks to her!

    Ms Raven Ahsatan

    Explorers Lead Teacher
    She is a Bennett College graduate, with a major in Biology and a minor in Theater. She has 12 years of experience working with children, starting as a babysitter and a nanny. She got started in the field of early childhood education because she loves helping kids learn and grow! A personal goal she has set for herself is to visit all 50 states- she has been to 13 so far! In her down time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, walking, dancing and singing, and shopping!     She started working in early childhood education because she loves working with children and watching them grow! She has been in the field for 10 years and enjoyed working at summer camps for several years before that. She enjoys volunteering and has worked with a company to teach children how to build computers! In her down time, she likes to go for walks at parks, watch anime, play kickball and go for a swim!     She has worked with children since she was 12, both in her church nursery and on mission trips! In the fall of 2018 she became a nanny for a family with two children and was with them for three years. After that, she started working in a formal early childhood education setting because she loves working with children! In her downtime, she loves to go thrift shopping, read books, and watch movies with friends and family.     Ms. Simone our Lead Teacher in the Discoverers Young Toddlers classroom. She started with us as a Resource teacher working part time as she worked on completing her Associates degree graduating in June, 2020. This will be her third year working in the Early Childhood field and she is looking forward to giving the children in her classroom a merry time. She enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs, loves to travel when she has free time. She is looking forward to the fun her little friends will have exploring and learning!

    Ms. Amanda is our Lead Teacher in the Inventors Prekindergarten classroom. She has the unique benefit of being the first teacher at our school when we opened in April 2019! She comes to us with over 12 years of experience in early childhood education including special education. She has a Masters Degree in Education and Curriculum, a Bachelors in History and certifications in regular and special elementary education. She loves teaching and helping young minds grow through learning. Seeing their smiles, hearing their laughter and listening to their stories of experiences of what they have done always brings a smile to her face. Her favorite children’s book is “Sweet smells of Christmas” because it reminds her of her grandmother and her sweet gentle smile. She loves to cook and bake and brings both into her classroom as part of her natural learning process!

    Lead Teacher
    Ms. Megan is our Lead Teacher in the Inventors Pre-Kindergarten classroom. She has a degree in Associates of Arts and will be graduating from Fayetteville State University with a Bachelors in Birth through Kindergarten in Fall 2022. She comes with several years of previous Goddard experience and appreciates the values and standards that Goddard places on development of the individual child. She is passionate about seeing children fulfill their potential by establishing a positive learning environment, quality education and a safe place that allows them the freedom to be themselves. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her own two children and playing guitar!

    Ms Lana

    Innovators Lead Teacher
    She has 30 years of experience in early childhood education, specifically Pre-K. She has experience working with children from infants to high school, including some time in a special education inclusive classroom. She has worked for Wake County Public Schools from K-2 for six years and has been a substitute teacher for four years as well. She even spent time at the Governor Morehead School learning to translate Braille for the visually impaired students in WCPSS! She entered the field of early childhood education because she has a passion for teaching children and partnering with their families to give them the best foundation and experience with learning. In her down time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and traveling. Favorite Children's Book: Pete the Cat by James Dean Favorite Quote: "A good education can change anyone.     She has 37 years of experience in the field of early childhood education. She has a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Elementary Education. She also has a Level II Early Childhood Certification. She enjoys volunteering and is always involved in her church's Back to School giveaway each year. In her down time, she enjoys shopping, spending time with her family, and cooking different things in her air fryer!
