    Mr. Todd is the onsite owner of The Goddard School located in Wentzville, MO. . As a father of three, Todd understands the importance of a safe, nurturing and fun learning environment. He invites you to come tour the school, meet our incredible faculty and learn more about our educational and enrichment programs.

    Tasha

    Education Director
    Tasha is the Educational Director at The Goddard School in Wentzville. She studied elementary and early childhood education at Lindenwood University. She completed her education at Ashford University. Tasha has been working in childcare since 2003. Tasha helped open the Wentzville Goddard School in 2009 and left briefly to continue her college education while working as a nanny. She joined our team as the Pre-K teacher, where she immediately fell in love with the Goddard School and saw a future working more closely with the families and teachers. She believes all children need a caring, safe environment where they can flourish and grow. She works to make the Goddard School a warm, loving place for the teachers, children and their families. Tasha is a mother of two that currently attend The Goddard School. Her favorite children's book is “If I Built a Car” by Chris Van Dusen.

    Chanel graduated with her degree in Child Development and Psychology back in 2020 at California State University of Los Angeles. She has many years of experience with children of all ages and different backgrounds. In school settings, home setting and in Hospitals. Her favorite part about early childhood is play and the curiosity children have about the world around us, which stems from her teaching philosophy. Chanel focuses on social emotion, play, and curiosity. She believes that children are curious about the world we live in and they use play as a tool to explore the world around us. As educators it is our job to scaffold/enable our children to solve problems or achieve a goal. Chanel believes that Early childhood is the start to our children's success and she cannot wait to see all of her children blossom like the flowers they are. Ms. Chanel's favorite children's book is Brown Bear Brown Bear What Do You See? By: Bill Martin Jr.

    Lead Teacher
    Krista is the lead teacher in the Chipmunk room. She grew up in North County before moving to Wentzville. She has always known that she's wanted to work with kids. Being at The Goddard School for awhile now, she has realized that this is exactly what she loves to do everyday. Krista enjoys being able to see the children develop new skills everyday and being part of helping them to achieve those skills. In her free time she loves spending time with her family and boyfriend. She spends a lot of time outdoors fishing, hunting, and hanging out with friends. Her goal is to continue her education in early childhood development. She looks forward to building a relationship with each and every family and being able to share the joy of every child’s unique development with the parents!

    Sydney is a lead teacher in the Chipmunk classroom. She has always wanted to be a teacher since she was little. She used to play "school" with her little brother and she always played the role of the teacher. With her passion for teaching she was excited for Goddard to be the place to start her teaching experience. She loves working at Goddard and helping the kids learn. She's happy to be a part of the Goddard team. Her hobbies outside of work include spending time with friends, family and her adorable dogs, Milo & Ramsey.

    Jessica is the lead teacher in the one-year old classroom. She has been at The Goddard School in Wentzville since 2014, and holds a bachelor's degree from MSU. She has worked with children of all ages as a recreation therapist and as an assistant teacher in both preschool and elementary school settings. She always says "If your child comes home a colorful mess, they had a great day." Jessica's greatest blessing in life is being a mother. Jessica’s favorite children's book is anything by Mo Willems.

    Mackenzie

    Kenzie is the lead teacher in Frog. She is currently attending St. Charles Community college and will graduate in 2024. Kenzie says that she adores getting to see all the different personalities develop in each kid and and loves getting to take care of them. In her free time she loves spending time with family and friends either going to church, cute coffee shops, or watching movies. Her favorite hobby is baking. At Goddard, Kenzie wants each kid to feel loved, important, and wants them to learn more every day. She said that she has never been more thankful working at a place with such wonderful families and coworkers. Kenzie cannot wait to see what the future holds and is so excited to spend her time at Goddard. Her favorite children’s book is “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” by Eric Carle.

    Jordyn

    Lead teacher
    Jordyn graduated from Holt High School in 2018, and is currently attending college pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education. Jordyn has always had an interest in working with children. She has been working with children since she was old enough to drive herself to baby-sitting jobs. The summer after her first year in college, she worked at the Wentzville Journey summer school program as a paraprofessional, working closely with a child in a classroom and assisting them throughout the day. More recently, Jordyn was a long-term nanny for a family of three. Her responsibilities spanned from watching the children to assisting with their online school work during quarantine. Jordyn started as an assistant teacher at The Goddard School, and accepted the Lead Teaching position happily when it was offered. Her favorite children’s book is “The Kissing Hand” by Audrey Penn.

    Assistant Teacher
    Shilah is the assistant teacher in the Raccoon classroom. She graduated from Troy Buchanan High school in 2021. She started babysitting at 12 years old which lead her to her interest in childcare . Her favorite part of working with children is watching them grow and hearing their laughs fill the room. Her favorite children’s book is “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie” by Laura Numeroff.

    Julie is the lead teacher in the Rabbit room. She was born in Florida and after about 8 years she moved to Illinois. She moved to Wentzville in 2014. She has always wanted to work with kids. Being at Goddard has confirmed her love of working with kids. She loves to watch the kids develop new skills everyday. In her free time she loves to hunt and fish with her boyfriend and friends. She hopes to continue to grow as a teacher and make great relationships with kids and parents!

    Annie is a lead teacher in the Fox classrooms. She has worked in the preschool setting since 1993. Annie has her Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential and has completed various continued education courses. Annie’s favorite part about teaching is allowing children to get messy as they explore science, art and sensory items. Annie's favorite children's author is Robert Munsch.

    Lexi is the assistant teacher in the Rabbit room. She is working towards a degree in early childhood education. She has always had a passion for working with children; she loves seeing their minds work watching them learn. She's been babysitting and working with kids since she was about 14 years old. She is looking forward to watching the kids grow and learn as well as continuing to build a relationship with each child. Her favorite children's book is "The Rainbow Fish" by Marcus Pfister.

    Miranda is a lead teacher in the Deer room. Professionally, Miranda has been teaching in preschools since 2012. Miranda considers herself a creative person. She loves making fun & educational crafts for her students. In her free time she enjoys reading, writing and spending time with her husband, friends and her kitties- Fester, Hocus & Pocus. Miranda's favorite children's book is "Pout Pout Fish in the Big Big Dark" by Deborah Diesen.

    Isaiah is the lead teacher in the Moose classroom. The reason Isaiah loves working with kids and being a teacher is because he loves creating an honest and open environment where children can come and learn, explore, grow and be themselves each and every day. He loves watching how the kids interact with each other and how they build relationships with the other kids and teachers around them. Building a relationship first with the kids is very important to him and he hopes that he can be a good role model. Some of his favorite activities to do with the kids are reading, dancing, art, and exploring the many things they find outside. Isaiah's favorite children's book series is the Llama Llama series by Anna Dewdney.

    Heather is the lead teacher in our Bear Classroom. She graduated from Clemson University in 2001 with degrees in Special, Elementary, and Early Childhood Education. She is passionate about instilling her students with a love for learning. She has a husband and three amazing teenagers at home and enjoys horseback riding and sewing in her free time. Heather's favorite children's book is "How to Wash a Wooly Mammoth" by Michelle Robinson.
