Our Teachers

Denise McConachie, M.Ed., Owner - Denise McConachie graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education and a Master of Education Degree with certification credentials in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, and Middle School Education. Denise also has a minor degree in Science with an emphasis in physics. Denise taught Kindergarten for eleven years and has been on staff as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Early Childhood Education at Missouri Baptist University since 1997. Denise is an asset to The Goddard St. Charles due to her 27 years of experience in Education and Early Learning as well as up to date knowledge in the field of Early Childhood Education as a university professor. Denise is a proud mother of two children who attended The Goddard School when they were younger. Please feel free to stop by and visit Denise. Abbie, our center director, has been with The Goddard School since August 2017. She has a BA in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. She is furthering her education and working towards an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education at St Charles Community College. Abbie has vast range of experience from being a lead teacher, assistant teacher, office administrator and now as a full-time director. In her spare time, Abbie likes to spend time with her family and friends, work-out, and travel. She also is a Varsity Cheerleading Coach at Francis Howell High School.

Olivia has been with The Goddard School St. Charles since July 2019. She is currently working towards her Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from Central Methodist University. She has professionally matured in The Goddard School St. Charles as an assistant teacher, lead teacher, office administrator, and now a full-time director. In her personal life, Olivia loves to spend time with her children, Maverick and Riley whom both attend The Goddard School St. Charles, and her dog Lily. She enjoys going on river floats and taking hikes with her family.

Kimberly has been with The Goddard School family since September of 2022. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Missouri. Kimberly previously worked at the Rockwood School District for several years before joining The Goddard School. Her favorite thing about working with children is witnessing the children's growth and development as well as seeing the wonderment in her students' eyes as she teaches.

Ady has been with The Goddard School since May of 2021. She is currently working towards a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Management at Culver Stockton. As the oldest of eight siblings, Ady grew a love for nurturing young children and seeing children smile as they continue to grow and learn about their environment.

Denise joined the Goddard team in 2016. Denise loves coming to work every day and seeing the new milestones each of her students is achieving. Her teaching philosophy would be to always incorporate fun with learning. Denise loves to try new restaurants in her free time with her husband and friend. She also loves celebrating her grandchildren's accomplishments in athletics and their studies.

Jennifer started at Goddard in 2022. Before coming to Goddard, she previously worked in private home health care with the elderly and ran her own home daycare for about twenty-three years. While teaching at Goddard, Jennifer loves watching her students grow and learn in a safe classroom environment that encourages problem-solving and exploration. In her free time, she loves taking care of her German shepherd dogs and capturing the world around her with her camera.

Salene has been part of The Goddard School family since 2018. She loves working at The Goddard School witnessing how children grow, how their minds think outside the box, and learning the quirks of each child as they develop their personalities. In her free time, Salene enjoys spending time with her two children who attend The Goddard School, watching movies with her family, knitting, crafting, and hanging out with her cat Amery and her guinea pig Luna.

Jessica has been with The Goddard School since May 2017. Her favorite thing about working with children is teaching them social emotional strategies and making their day brighter by offering a big hug as soon as they arrive at school! She loves helping the children learn sign language to help with their language and communication skills. In her free time, Jessica likes to watch baseball and listen to music, as well as spend time with her family.

Shelby has been with The Goddard School since August of 2022. She came to us with five years of experience working with early childhood-aged children. As a classroom teacher, Shelby, loves caring for her students by encouraging their interests through play and creating artwork. Outside of her professional life, Shelby enjoys reading, Colorguard, and playing with her dog, Piper.

Danielle started at Goddard in 2016. When in her classroom, she loves interacting with students as they continue to learn and grow. Her favorite thing is when students have "I did it" moments and celebrates when students meet each milestone. When not teaching, Danielle loves baking and creating crafts with her daughters.

Autumn has been with The Goddard School since December of 2020. She is currently studying Psychology at Lindenwood University. Autumn enjoys seeing how children's minds work and believes that there is also something to learn for the children she works with each and every day. In her personal time, Autumn loves caring for her daughter who attends The Goddard School, is learning French, and how to play the ukulele.

Niya has been part of The Goddard School family since 2023. She loves working at The Goddard School witnessing how children grow, and learning the quirks of each child as they develop their personalities. In her free time, Niya enjoys spending time cleaning her house, and hanging out with her little sister. She also enjoys spending time with her mom cooking meals for their family.

Mr. Tom has been with Goddard since 2015. He has a passion for education and loves teaching at a preschool level. Mr. Tom loves to read books to students during circle time and has a drive to further children's minds through engagement and exploration of their environment. In his free time, Mr. Tom likes to spend time with his friends, and take care of his cat.

Ava has been at The Goddard School St. Charles since July of 2023. Ava is attending Lindenwood University to pursue Special Education. She loves watching children grow and learn. In her free time, Ava likes to go to the lake, dance, and take pictures.

Katelyn has been at The Goddard School St. Charles since December of 2023. She enjoys working with children because it is awesome to watch them grow and learn. She enjoys the classroom environment, and the ability to teach and be a good example for children. In her free time, Katelyn loves to be outside, painting, and cooking.

Chris has been with The Goddard School since November of 2018. She holds a BS degree in Elementary Education from the University of Missouri St. Louis. She loves working with children because of how curious they are which makes teaching so much fun! In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her three children and their dogs. Chris loves the outdoors, traveling, and especially enjoys going on cruises and hanging out at the beach.

Brittany has been a part of our Goddard family since 2015. She has a bachelor's degree in Child and Family Development from the University of Central Missouri. She is a loving mother to her daughter and loves to spend time traveling with her family. As a teacher at Goddard, Brittany enjoys watching children grow up and learn new things every day in the classroom. Brittany is Safe Sleep and First/CPR Certified.

Alicia joined our Goddard team in 2022. Alicia has a passion for providing children the opportunity to make connections when learning new materials by providing hands-on materials for students to explore and engage with. When not teaching, Alicia loves to participate in dance and play with her six dogs.

Courtney joined Goddard in 2022. Before working at Goddard, she ran her own in-home daycare for four years. She is a mother to two daughters and loves watching them grow and learn in school and at home. Courtney's favorite thing about working at Goddard is watching students learn how to communicate and interact with one another as they grow into their distinct individuals.

Ermina has been at The Goddard School St. Charles since January of 2024. Ermina is currently working towards her Nursing degree at St. Louis Community College. She enjoys working with children because it is uplifting, and being able to watch their young minds figure out the world in front of her. In her free time, Ermina likes to hike, and read. Ermina is Safe Sleep and CPR certified.

Madison has been working at the Goddard School St. Charles since August of 2024. She graduated from Missouri Baptist university in April of 2024 with a degree in Health Sciences. Madison likes working with children because she likes to help them learn and make them feel cared for. She likes to play soccer and be with her family and friends.

Alex has been at The Goddard School St. Charles since January of 2020. He loves being creative with the kids and watching them have fun in the classroom. In his free home, Alex likes to hike and garden. Alex is Safe Sleep and CPR certified.

Natalie has been at The Goddard School St. Charles since January of 2024. She is currently enrolled at Lindenwood University working towards her Elementary Education degree. Natalie loves making a difference in students lives and seeing a smile on their face. In her free time, she likes to shop, hike, and ride bikes. Natalie is Safe Sleep and CPR certified.

Jaide has been at The Goddard School St. Charles since April of 2024. She graduated with her CNA in 2022 and also got her RBT after passing her test working with children with autism. Jaide likes to watch children accomplish things they struggle with. She also loves helping children explore new things. In her free time, Jaide likes to train dogs, and hang out with her friends. Jaide is Safe Sleep and CPR certified.

Madyson has been at the Goddard School St. Charles since March of 2023. Madyson is working towards her degree in Elementary Education. As an older sister of two she has found her love for nurturing kids and helping them grow. In her freetime she likes to be hang out with her friends and family. She also likes to be outside.
