    Hi! My name is Alexis and I have been part of the Goddard family since 2021. I have worked in early childhood education since May 2018. I absolutely adore what I do and love making a difference in the lives of children. I have obtained my 90 and 45 hour certifications for working with infants, toddler and preschoolers. I love spending time with my family and going on hikes with my husband and our two dogs. I am so grateful to be part of such a phenomenal team!

    Hi my name is Ms. Julie and I am so excited to be joining the wonderful staff here at The Goddard School as a Director. I am originally from New York but came to Maryland to attend Towson University and stayed when I met my husband. I graduated from Towson in 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I did my post graduate work at C.W. Post in New York. I obtained a Master’s degree in elementary education and teaching certificates in special education and early childhood. I taught fourth and fifth grade in Baltimore County before I decided to go back to early childhood. I was a Pre-kindergarten teacher for two years in New York. Reading is a passion of mine, and I try to do it as much as possible. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my two children and husband. Come in and see why we are much more than a daycare or childcare. We are a preschool.

    Hello my name is Amanda Jones! I graduated from Hereford High School in 2006, then attended CCBC where my course of study was Early Childhood Education. In 2009 my son was born, followed by my daughter in 2014. I also worked briefly as a nanny. In my spare time I enjoy being outdoors, reading, going to the beach, sports and most of all being a mom! Caring for children and watching them grow and learn has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I am lucky to be able to come to work every day to a job I love so much.

    Hi, my name is Sarah Kreiger. I grew up in Central Pennsylvania with four siblings. I graduated from Northern High School in 2020 and then attended Harrisburg Area Community College studying Early Childhood Education. I transferred to Indiana University of Pennsylvania where I continued my studies. I have been an intern and worked in two different elementary schools where I worked one on one with students with special needs. My inspiration to become a teacher comes from my younger brother who is autistic. I loved hearing about the work his teachers and aids did and I wanted to be just like them. After becoming a Maryland resident, I plan to attend Towson University to complete my degree in elementary education. I am excited to become a part of the Goddard team!

    My name is Kelli and I am excited to continue my career here at The Goddard School. It has been a life long dream to work and teach children. I feel privileged and grateful to be working at such a great facility and team. I am looking forward to many years here! I currently have my 45hr certification and my 90hr certification. This has always been my dream to work with kids and i cannot think of a better place to be fulfilling my dream! Outside of work I enjoy walks on the trail, swimming and beach time! Warm weather and a sunny beach is my absolute favorite thing. I spend lots of time with two children, friends and my husband.

    My name is Ms. Brittany and I’ve been here at Goddard since April 2018. I’ve been in childcare since graduating high school! I started at Martin Luther King Jr. Early Head Start where I received my CDA and 90-hour certifications. I plan on getting my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Early Childhood Education soon. I have three beautiful children, McKinley, Ava and Ivan. I love working with children and knowing that potential lawyers, doctors or maybe the next President could be in my classroom! I love making a difference and seeing the smiles on their faces and working as a team with the families.

    Hi! My name is Jalisa and I'm very excited to be joining the Goddard team as an afternoon sub. I have a general studies and medical assisting degree from Harford Community College, and currently I am back in school taking courses for an occupational therapy program. Previously, I have worked at another center and also at a special needs school in Baltimore City, as well as a gym for children. I am very excited to work at Goddard and to meet all of the children!

    Hi my name is Ms.Denaye, and I am so excited to be a part of the Goddard family. I am a mom of twins named Brycen and Brooklynn. I love to travel, shop and spend time with my kids. I graduated from high school in 2021 and attended CCBC where I pursued nursing and became a certified medical assistant. Working with kids was something I always saw myself doing. I love teaching them new things. Being able to work with kids is so much fun and I love it!

    Hi! My name is Miss Izzy and I'm a floater teacher here at Goddard Sparks! I've been in childcare my whole working life, starting as a mothers' helper nearly ten years ago and progressing through various roles of summer camp counseling/coaching, nannying, part-time babysitting and most recently an overnight summer camp nurse. I grew up in Baltimore and graduated high school in 2020 before spending a few years working and pursuing higher education in Charlotte, NC and Hill Country, TX. Since moving home last summer, I've been working toward my Nursing degree at CCBC Essex and hope to pursue a career in pediatrics or high-acuity care. I love working with children and am very passionate about the Goddard mission and have loved getting to know your kiddos so far, and can't wait to see what else the Goddard Sparks family has to offer :)

I am a poet, dancer, care giver, but most importantly I thrive on making people happy! Being able to bring smiles and laughter brings me great joy. If someone were to ask me what I would be doing in five, ten, fifteen years I would whole heartedly say I hope to making a difference.

    Janelle & Mike Glasser, School Owners - Janelle and Mike thank you for being a part of Goddard's family! They are the parents of three children, ages 22, 21 and 18. They opened this school after much soul searching to find the perfect family-friendly business that makes a tangible, positive difference in the world. Janelle spent seven years at home raising the kids before opening The Goddard School®. Prior to that, she worked for many years in events coordinating, advertising and Public Relations. She began her professional life as an elementary school teacher and is thrilled to return to the world of children! Her focus on the school is program development, curricular planning and staff development. Mike worked for many years in the technology field, including programming, computer sales and service as well as internet sales. Mike joined the school full-time in its second year of operation. He has many opportunities to put his IT skills to use, keeping the classroom computers running and helping his IT-challenged wife handle the intricacies of the modern world. He loves being involved in the day-to-day operation of the school and considers the many parents, students and teachers as extensions of his own family. Being in the preschool and childcare business has been very satisfying and fun!

    My name is Rachel and I am happy to be here at The Goddard School! I am originally from New York and moved down to Maryland to attend Towson University. I graduated in May 2013 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. While at Towson, I was a member of the co-educational honor fraternity, Phi Sigma Pi. This is where I have met some of my closest friends. After school I decided to stay in Maryland in order to pursue my dream of becoming a teacher. I have always enjoyed working with children and witnessing the "ah-ha" moment that kids go through when discovering new things.

    My name is Ms. Amanda Irvin and I have always loved working with children! I’m excited and happy to be teaching and learning at a school like the Goddard school. In fact, I’ve worked at other Goddard schools in both Florida and Pennsylvania. In 2003, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Special education from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children going to amusement parks, shopping and traveling to new and interesting places. Thank you!

    Although Ms. Doreen completed her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, she decided to pursue a career in Early Childhood Education after working with young children in the Pathfinders’ Club. She is happy to have the opportunity to positively influence and enrich the lives of children at the age when their characters are being formed. She has successfully completed training in Early Childhood Education (Preschool), Infant and Toddler Care, Development and Child Care Administration. The joy and satisfaction she gets from seeing the accomplishment of a child as he or she attains another milestone or overcomes an impediment is beyond any other joy she has felt in her life - except that of having her own son of course! She enjoys spending time with her husband and son and is happy to be a part of the Goddard team.

    Hello, my name is Ms. Haley and I'm excited for the opportunity to have fun here while teaching and exploring with kids and staff. I graduated from VCU in 2015 with a degree in Art Education! Life swayed me towards retail for 4 years after college but I'm excited for this next meaningful adventure. I’ve always wanted to work with kids because I enjoy seeing how each child has their own developing personality that allows them to have fun and grow in different ways. I love exploring to new places and seeing new things like National Parks, other countries, art museums and movies. I think seals are hilarious and pandas are super cute but nothing beats the happiness and comfort of a dog!

    Ms. Jennifer is so honored and blessed to be a part of the Goddard Family. She have been with the Goddard School in Sparks since 2006 and has spent time as both a lead teacher in the Chickadees room and as a floater. Currently, as a floater she has a lot of important responsibilities but the most satisfying and fulfilling one is being able to see all of the students everyday. She wants to help instill in them a love for life and teach them to live to the fullest. She is the proud mother of five beautiful children, 2 girls and 3 boys. She loves spending time at Church and with her boyfriend and children every chance she gets. You will always see her smiling and like her, her children have a joy for living!

    Hi I’m Lindsay McGee and I am super excited to be joining the team here at Goddard. Working with children and watching them learn and grow has always been my passion and I look forward to building lasting relationships with the families here. I have my 90 hour certification and my 45 hour infant and toddler certification. I’m currently also going to school part time in pursuit of my associates degree. In my free time I spend time with my husband and family. I’m the oldest of 4 and am super close to my siblings. I love to scrapbook, collage and do most arts and crafts. I’m also an accomplished baker and cook! After work if I’m not doing homework, I can usually be found in the kitchen playing around with new recipes.

    Since September 2007, Tara has truly enjoyed being a part of the Goddard family. She first became interested in working with young children in High School when she took an Early Childhood Education class. When she went back to work after having her son, she wanted a career where her son could be closeby. Since she loved being around children, teaching preschool was the perfect fit. She has now been teaching preschool since 2000 and absolutely loves it. She is also MSCCA certified. In her spare time she enjoys spending every precious moment with family and friends.

    I received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rollins College in Orlando, Florida. While attending college, I worked in a preschool. I enjoy working with preschool children and love playing with Legos. I have my 45-Hour School-Age Certificate and work primarily with older children at the School. After eighteen months of full time teaching at The Goddard School, I am taking some time off to travel and explore the world. Between trips, I work as a substitute teacher for the School.

    Hi! My name is Kory and I am so excited to join The Goddard School! In my prior experience, I worked at Learning Ladder Child Care Center in Pikesville for over 10 years. Before that, I was a summer camp counselor. When I’m not working here, I am a member of an emergency response unit for local police and firemen. I also enjoy hanging out with friends and going to Hunt Valley Town Center. I look forward to getting to know all the families at Goddard!

I am a mom of three and I'm usually busy with their many activities. I also have a dog named Griffy who is a big part of our family as well. My hobbies include doing Zumba and meetings friends for coffee. I look forward to building long-lasting relationships with the children, staff and families here!
