Our Goddard School Teachers

Gina is the on-site owner of The Goddard School located in Mount Airy. She and her husband, Doug have 4 children and are passionate about providing a nurturing and safe preschool environment for children to grow and learn. They are very involved in the community and were thrilled to be able to open The Goddard School here in May of 2014. Gina strives to create a welcoming and supportive environment for the teachers and families throughout the school. We are excited to provide our students with the opportunity to develop into happy and confident learners who are prepared for school and life!

Ms. Lauren is the Director of Operations & Education here at The Goddard School. She has been with our program since February of 2016. She chose this career because she hopes to be a role model and generate a positive attitude and love for learning for our students. Ms. Lauren graduated from Towson University with a BA in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. She also has her certifications in Infants/Toddlers, Preschool/Pre-K, School Age and Administration. Outside of school, Ms. Lauren enjoys going to sporting events and concerts.

Ms. Caitlin is an assistant director and has been with our program since August of 2018. She chose this career because she is passionate about the importance of quality education at an early age to help build a strong foundation for lifetime learning. She has certifications for infant/toddler, preschool/prek, and school age. She also has an associate degree in early childhood education and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree from University of Maryland. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and reading a good book!

Ms. Sara has been with our program since August of 2014. She chose this career because she loves to help children learn, grow, and be excited about school. Ms. Sara has her certifications in infant/toddlers, preschool/prek, and school age. Outside of school, Ms. Sara spends a lot of time with her family and making memories with friends.

Ms. Anna has been with our program since November of 2021. She chose this career because she always wanted to be a teacher since she was little. She feels working with children is rewarding while you see the new things they learn and watching them grow. Ms. Anna has an associate degree in early childhood education and special education. She has her certification in infant/toddlers. Outside of school, Ms. Anna enjoys reading.

Ms. Amber has been with our program since August of 2024. She chose this career because she has always had a passion in working with children and she enjoys caring for them while helping to develop their minds. Ms. Amber has her infant/toddler and preschool/prekindergarten certifications. Outside of school, Ms. Amber enjoys retail therapy, going to concerts, and finding a good show to binge watch!

Ms. Bonnie has been with our program since August of 2018. She chose this career because she loves working with children and learning about them. She has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and has her certifications in preschool/prek and school age. Outside of school, Ms. Bonnie enjoys walking and hiking.

Ms. Bri has been with our program since July of 2025. Ms. Bri chose this career because she has always wanted to be a teacher and fell in love with the career! Ms. Bri has her preschool/prekindergarten certification. Outside of school, Ms. Bri enjoys playing video games and all most all types of art.

Ms. Cathy has been with our program since November of 2018. She chose this career because she loves working with children and enjoys watching them reach milestones and grow. Ms. Cathy has her associate degree in early childhood education and has her certifications in infant/toddlers, preschool/prek, and school age. Outside of work, Ms. Cathy enjoys horseback riding, walking, boating, the beach, and spending time with her dog and horse.

Ms. Chloe has been with our program since July of 2024. She chose this career because she likes working with kids. Ms. Chloe has her certification in infant/toddler. Outside of school, she likes spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys shopping.

Mrs. Christina has been with our program since October of 2020. She chose this career because she enjoys being around children and watching them grow and learn. She has her certification in infant/toddler. Outside of school, Ms. Christina enjoys shopping, spending time with her children, and going to the beach and pool.

Ms. Dani has been with our program since January of 2015. She chose this career because she wants to make a difference for our future generation. Ms. Dani has her infant/toddler. Preschool/prek, and school age certification. Outside of school, Ms. Dani enjoys going to the beach and shopping.

Ms. Elisabeth has been with our program since April of 2019. She chose this career because she enjoys working with children and watching them learn and grow. Ms. Elisabeth has her certification in preschool/prek. Outside of school, Ms. Elisabeth enjoys being active and outside. She also enjoys hanging out with her dog, friends, and family.

Ms. Emma has been with our program since October of 2021. She chose this career to create new relationships with the children while having the opportunity to watch them grow. Ms. Emma has an associate degree in elementary and special education and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree at Liberty. She has her certification in infant/toddlers. Outside of school, she enjoys going to the gym and spending time with her family.

Ms. Emily has been with our program since August of 2014. She chose this career because she enjoys watching children grow and the milestones they achieve. She has her certification in infant/toddler and preschool/prek. Outside of school, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her children.

Ms. Emilee has been with our program since August of 2024. She chose this career because she loves working with children and plans on getting a degree to go into occupational therapy for children. Ms. Emilee has her infant/toddler and preschool/prekindergarten certifications. Outside of school, Ms. Emilee enjoys going on hikes, going to sporting events and hanging out with her little sisters!

Ms. Hannah has been with our program since January of 2019. She chose this career because she loves learning and growing with each child. She enjoys seeing their big smiles and feels that each day is a reward in itself! She has her certifications in infant/toddler, preschool/prek, and school age. Outside of school, Ms. Hannah loves painting, exploring nature, and creating nail designs.

Ms. Heidi has been with our program since June of 2021. She chose this career because she always wanted to become a teacher. Ms. Heidi is working towards a bachelor’s degree from Liberty University. Ms. Heidi has her preschool/prek certification. Outside of school, Ms. Heidi enjoys hanging out with friends and traveling.

Mr. Jason has been with our program since May of 2023. He chose this career to be a positive role to young minds. Mr. Jason has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and his certification in preschool/prek. Outside of school, Mr. Jason enjoys drawing, art, video games, and movies.

Ms. Jenna has been with our program since October of 2023. Ms. Jenna was previously with our program before completing her Bachelor's degree in psychology. She chose this career because she wants to help shape little minds as they grow. Outside of school, Ms. Jenna enjoys exercising and spending time with friends.

Ms. Christina has been with our program since August of 2025. She chose this career because she knew from a young age that she wanted to be a teacher. She was inspired to teach because of the positive impact her elementary school teachers had on her. Ms. Christina has her associates degree in Elementary education and certifications in Infant and Toddlers and Preschool and PreK. Outside of school, Ms. Christina enjoys spending time with her nephew and family. She also enjoys watching the Baltimore Ravens and Orioles!

Ms. Jennifer has been with our program since June of 2025. She chose this career because she loves watching children learn and grow, and she wants to help them explore in their own way. Ms. Jennifer has her bachelor's degree in Graphic Design Communication. She holds a certification in preschool and pre-K. Outside of school, Ms. Jennifer enjoys board games and spending time with family.

Ms. Jordy has been with our program since August of 2020. She chose this career because she has always enjoyed working with children because watching them grow and learn new things is so rewarding. It’s humbling to know that we as teachers are helping to build the foundation of the future through today’s children. Ms. Jordy has a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and certifications in infant/toddler, preschool/prek, and school age. Outside of school, Ms. Jordy enjoys riding horses and spending time with her husband and daughter, Paisleigh.

Ms. Jordan has been with our program since June of 2023. She chose this career because she enjoys working with children. Ms. Jordan has her infant/toddler certification. Outside of school, Ms. Jordan enjoys hanging out with her friends and family and playing with her pets.

Ms. Katie has been with our program since November of 2019. She chose this career because she loves working with children and being a part of their growth and development. Ms. Katie has a bachelor’s degree in family and consumer science. She also has her certifications in preschool/prek and school age. Outside of school, Ms. Katie enjoys coaching field hockey and ceramics.

Ms. Karoline (Koko) has been with our program since November of 2022. She graduated with a Bachelors Degree from Helwan University. She has her certification in preschool/prek. Outside of school, Ms. Koko enjoys spending time with her family.

Ms. Maddie has been with our program since August of 2018. She chose this career to strengthen her skills as she pursues her degree in early childhood education. Ms. Maddie has her certifications in preschool/prek and school age. Outside of school, she enjoys motocross!

Ms. Makayla has been with our program since April of 2024. She chose this career because she loves shaping young minds and creating fun and long lasting memories. As a teacher, there is never a dull moment and everyday is unique! Ms. Makayla has her certification in preschool/prekindergarten. Outside of school, Ms. Makayla enjoys spending time with her friends, family and dogs. She enjoys traveling and shopping.

Ms. Morgan has been with our program since August of 2022. She chose this career because she loves watching the kids learn and grow. Ms. Morgan has her certification in infant/toddlers. Outside of school, Ms. Morgan enjoys hanging out with family and friends, shopping, and going to the beach.

Ms. Raelyn has been with our program since February of 2024. She chose this career because she loves teaching children about all different things and she loves to watch them grow up and do amazing things. Ms. Raelyn has her infant and toddler certification. Outside of school, Ms. Raelyn enjoys playing with her animals, she owns around 50. She also enjoys playing video games with her boyfriend and spending time with her family and friends.

Ms. Skyler has been with our program since September of 2023. She chose this career because being around children brings her joy and she loves having the opportunity to create a bond with them. Ms. Sklyer has her preschool and preK certification. Outside of school, Ms. Skyler enjoys going to the beach and hanging out with her friends.

Ms. Tori has been with our program of July of 2021. She chose this career for the opportunity to create relationships with the Goddard family and make fun memories with her class. Ms. Tori has her certification in infant/toddler. Outside of school, Ms. Tori enjoys going to the motocross track with her family and going to the gym.

Ms. Aliyah has been with our program since July of 2024. She choose this career because she adores working with children and having the opportunity to see them becoming and finding themselves. Outside of school, Ms. Aliyah enjoys running and spending time with her family.

Ms. Ashley has been with our program since March of 2024. She chose this career because she loves working with children. Outside of school, Ms. Ashley loves to spend time with her family.

Ms. Brooke has been with our program since April of 2024. She chose this career because she feels like it is a reward to work with children. Also, she gets to expand her knowledge of how children learn and grow. Outside of school, Ms. Brooke enjoys going to the beach and spending time with family and friends.

Ms. Devyn has been with our program since October of 2025. She chose this career because she loves watching children learn through play and explore the world around them in creative, hands-on ways. She finds it rewarding to see each child grow into their unique personality and gain confidence as they discover new things every day. Ms. Devyn has an associate's degree in arts. Outside of school, Ms. Devyn enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and going to the beach.

Ms. Emma has been with our program since July of 2025. She chose this career because she loves working with children and getting to watch them grow and learn! Outside of school, Ms. Emma enjoys spending time with her friends and coaching field hockey.

Ms. Hayden has been with our program since June of 2024. She chose this career because she loves seeing kids grows and loves helping them learn new things. Ms. Hayden has her Preschool/PreK certification. Outside of school, Ms. Hayden likes to spend time with family and friends and listening to music.

Ms. Heidy has been with our program since August of 2024. She chose this career because she loves kids and being able to put a smile on their faces is the best! Outside of school, Ms. Heidy enjoys being with her best friend and going out with her family.

Ms. Gabby has been with our program since December of 2023. She chose this career because she loves caring for young children. Outside of school, Ms. Gabby enjoys going to the beach and reading.

Ms. Jamie has been with our program since August of 2025. She chose this career because she loves children and wants to be a mom one day. Outside of school, Ms. Jamie enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She also enjoys playing with her dogs.

Ms. Reese has been with our program since March 2025. She chose this career because she enjoys watching and helping children grow and learn new things. Outside of Goddard, she enjoys playing hockey, spending time with family, friends and her pets.

Ms. Peyton has been with our program since August of 2025. She chose this career to create a bond with the children as she gets the opportunity to watch them grow and learn. Outside of school, Ms. Peyton enjoys spending time with her friends and family!

Ms. Riley has been with our program since May of 2025. She chose this career because she is passionate about giving children a safe and encouraging environment where they can learn and grow. She is currently pursuing her degree in Early Childhood Education & Special Education. Ms. Riley enjoys reading and spending time with her little sister in her free time.

Ms. Sophia has been with our program since October of 2025. She chose this career because she really enjoys working with children. Outside of school, Ms. Sophia enjoys hanging out with her friends and participating in all-star cheer.

Ms. Cameron has been with our program since November 2025. She chose this career because she loves children and building relationships. Outside of school, Ms. Cameron enjoys hanging out with friends and shopping.

Ms. Madison has been with our program since December of 2025. She chose this career because she loves helping children learn and grow in the classroom. Outside of school, Ms. Madison likes to play and coach field hockey. She also enjoys traveling, especially to somewhere warm!

Ms. Molly has been with our program since May of 2018. She returned from college in November of 2025 and rejoined our program. She chose this career to care for and nurture young children through a fun learning environment. Ms. Molly has a bachelor's degree in Health Sciences and her infant and toddler certification. Outside of school, Ms. Molly enjoys coaching girls' soccer at South Carroll High School and reading books.
