Our Goddard School Teachers

Ms. Amber is the original owner of the 20-year-old Goddard School in Forest Hill, MD and 3 additional Goddard Schools. She has three children, a son-in-love and two grandchildren, both Goddard graduates. She met her husband of 36 years at Gettysburg College where she majored in English and Elementary Education, followed by a Master’s degree in Reading at Towson University as she taught 3rd grade in Oxford, PA. She dreamed of opening her own school which began with the education of her own children and developed into the three Goddard schools that she and her husband now oversee. The theme of our school is the “Joy of Reading” and she seeks to instill her love of reading through a phonic rich curriculum. She strives each year to provide a solid foundation, socially and cognitively, as her teachers’ nurture each child’s heart, body and mind. Her goal is that every parent will drop off their child with confidence, joy and peace knowing their child is in the best of hands and school.

Ms. Kahla is the Director of Operations here at The Goddard School in Forest Hill and has been a part of the Goddard team for 16 years. She is the proud mother of two children, both now Forest Hill Goddard graduates thriving in Elementary and Middle school. Ms. Kahla holds her Associates of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education from Harford Community College. She holds her Infant/Toddler, Pre-School and School Age certifications, and is also CPR and First Aid certified. She is also trained and certified in Medication Administration as well as Severe Allergy procedures. Ms. Kahla loves being a support to the teachers, families and students here at The Goddard School and enjoys watching the students grow into confident and strong learners.

Ms. Stephanie is our Director of Education here at The Goddard School in Forest Hill and has been a part of the team for 13 years! She is the proud mother of two girls, a current Goddard Pre-K and Elementary student . She graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. Ms. Stephanie holds her Infant/Toddler, Pre-School and School-Age certifications, as well as CPR and First Aid and Medication Administration. As the Director of Education, Ms. Stephanie oversees the implementation of an exceptional curriculum, manages our team of outstanding teachers and provides a superior Early Childhood program to the children of our community. Ms. Stephanie enjoys working for Goddard because it gives her the opportunity to watch children's stages of growth. Each day is a new adventure here at The Goddard School and Ms. Stephanie loves seeing what exciting things the students and staff are getting into by learning in a way that stimulates all of the senses!

Ms. Donna is the Assistant Director here at The Goddard School in Forest Hill. She has been a member of the Goddard family for 12 years and is the proud mother of two- a girl and boy who both attend Goddard! She has completed coursework in Early Childhood Education and is currently completing continuing education courses at University of Maryland Global Campus. She has earned her Infant/Toddler certification, Pre-School certification. She is also CPR and First Aid certified and trained in Medication Administration. Ms. Donna loves supporting the children and parents here at The Goddard School and enjoys working with children to make sure they are growing and succeeding in our program.

Ms. Courtney is the Assistant Director of Family Engagement here at The Goddard School in Forest Hill. She has been a part of our Goddard team for 7 years and is the proud mother of two boys, one a current Goddard Preschool Student and the other in Elementary School. Ms. Courtney holds her Bachelors Degree in Family and Human Services from Towson University. She has also obtained both her Preschool and Infant and Toddler certifications as well as CPR and First Aid and Medication Administration. She is proud to be a part of our exceptional Goddard team!
