Our Goddard School Teachers

Katie is the proud on-site owner of The Goddard School in Auburn, MA. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Boston College in 2007, followed by a Master’s in Early Childhood Education (2010) and a Master’s in Administration (2013), also from Boston College. Her career began in the classroom, where she spent several years teaching Pre-Kindergarten and second grade before moving into leadership as an Assistant Head of School in 2013. In 2019, Katie joined The Goddard School family as the Director of Education, bringing her passion for high-quality early childhood education to the Auburn community. She took over ownership of the school in May of 2023. A proud mom of four amazing girls, Katie cherishes time at home with her husband and children. She is deeply committed to creating a warm, nurturing environment where every child can develop a life-long love of learning.

Amanda began working with children in 2007 and joined The Goddard School in 2017. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Eastern Connecticut State University in 2012 and has continued her professional growth by taking numerous courses in Early Childhood Education, Administration, and Family Studies. After several years as a toddler teacher, Amanda began her career as a Director in 2010. A mom of four, she loves spending time with her children exploring new places, doing arts and crafts, and baking together. Amanda is also an avid reader and enjoys sharing her love of books with her family. Some of their favorites include the Llama Llama series, works by Dr. Seuss, and The Boxcar Children series.

Megan has been a dedicated member of The Goddard School family since 2017. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Applied Relations from Eastern Connecticut State University and has 15 years of experience teaching Pre-K and Kindergarten. Now serving as Assistant Director, Megan enjoys supporting students and teachers, encouraging creativity, and helping young minds thrive. Her love for education inspires her to grow every day. She especially enjoys reading the Pigeon books by Mo Willems with her class. Outside of school, Megan is a proud first-time mom to her son, born in January 2019. Her dedication has earned her several honors, including Rookie of the Year (2017), Teacher of the Year (2020), and Goddard Regional Teacher of the Year (2021).

Hope joined The Goddard School in 2025. She is currently earning her Master’s in Education at Salem State University. Inspired by the support she received from teachers growing up with ADHD, she hopes to provide the same encouragement to the children in her care. Hope is passionate about early childhood education because she knows how important the first five years are for development. She loves seeing children reach milestones and grow in a nurturing, respectful environment. One of her proudest accomplishments is being the first in her family to graduate high school—and now she’s working toward a Master’s degree. Her favorite classroom book is The Giving Tree, and she loves singing “Five Little Monkeys” and playing Duck Duck Goose. Hope takes pride in offering quality care every day.

Michelle has been a valued member of The Goddard School family since 2008. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, graduating with High Honors, and brings over fifteen years of experience working with young children. Michelle loves working with children because she learns as much from them as they do from her. She especially enjoys teaching music and movement, delighting in the smiles, laughter, and joy it brings while enhancing their learning. Outside the classroom, Michelle enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. Throughout her career at Goddard, she has received numerous accolades, including Team Player of the Year (2009), Teacher of the Year (2010 and 2017), Goddard National Teacher of the Year (2011), and Classroom of the Year (2019).

Sydney has worked in early childhood education for over 10 years, and has been with Goddard since 2023. She holds an EEC Lead Teacher and Director certification. She earned her degree in Psychology with a minor in Diversity Studies from Framingham State University and has taken many education courses. Sydney’s passion for teaching began in high school through a Child Development class and volunteering in her school’s preschool. She feels like her “happiest self” when she's in the classroom and loves helping little ones grow and learn. Outside of work, Sydney enjoys spending time with her family, including her three boys. Her favorite children’s book is I Love You Just the Way You Are by Rosie Greening.

Alessandra has been part of The Goddard School family since 2024. She attended Wheelock College, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Growth and Development and Psychology, with a minor in Education. Alessandra has spent the past 11 years working as an ABA therapist with children with special needs. She loves helping children learn and grow and is passionate about creating a classroom that fosters independence while providing hands-on learning opportunities for all children. Her favorite children’s books are any by Eric Carle, and her favorite song to sing with children is Clap Your Hands by the Mother Goose Club.

Catherine has been part of The Goddard School family since 2024. She earned her Bachelor's in Education from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. With two sons, now 21 and 16, Catherine loves being around young children. She taught in a preschool in Egypt and worked for Head Start in the U.S. for five years before focusing on her family. Catherine is excited to return to the classroom to read, play, and help children learn and grow. Her favorite book is The Three Little Bears, her favorite song is If You’re Happy and You Know It!, and she enjoys teaching numbers and counting through fun games.

Courtney has been part of The Goddard School family since 2024. She holds an Associate's Degree in General Studies from Quinsigamond Community College and has completed several early childhood education courses. Prior to joining Goddard, Courtney spent a year as a lead teacher in a toddler classroom. A loving mom herself, she became a teacher to help children learn and grow in a safe, nurturing environment. Courtney especially enjoys seeing children’s eyes light up at their artwork and celebrating their important milestones. Her favorite children’s book is The Hungry Caterpillar, and her favorite song to sing with children is Baby Bumblebee.

Denise has been part of The Goddard School family since 2025. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Science Education and brings many years of experience in Early Childhood Education, primarily with preschool-aged children. Denise loves working with children, appreciating their honesty and authenticity, and strives to create a safe, nurturing, and loving bond with each student in her care. She is a proud mom of two boys, has three bonus daughters, and nine grandchildren!

Janice has been a cherished member of The Goddard School family since 2024. She holds a degree in Accounting and Finance, but after several years in the financial field and becoming a mom, she followed her heart into early childhood education. Janice loves the joy, laughter, and curiosity that children bring to every day, and she treasures the opportunity to watch them grow, explore, and learn. She is a proud mom of two wonderful daughters and a big Disney fan! Her favorite children’s books are Green Eggs and Ham and The Hungry Caterpillar, and she loves singing The Itsy Bitsy Spider with her students.

Jodi has been part of The Goddard School family since 2023 and is thrilled to continue her teaching career. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Iowa State University and grew up on a dairy farm in Iowa before moving to Massachusetts. After teaching preschool early in her career, Jodi spent 21 years as a stay-at-home mom to her four children. She later returned to teaching, working at an afterschool care program from 2016 to 2023. Jodi loves the enthusiasm and energy that children bring to the classroom, and her favorite children’s books are Make Way for Ducklings and Christina Katerina and The Box.

Kathleen joined the Goddard family in 2025. She graduated from Bay Path Regional Vocational High School in 2020 and is currently pursuing a degree in Elementary Education at QCC. She has worked in child care for six years, gaining experience with children of all ages. Inspired by her own first-grade teacher, Kathleen knew she wanted to make the same positive impact on young learners. Her favorite part of teaching is watching children grow and being there to support them every step of the way. Her favorite children’s book (and song!) is "We’re Going on a Bear Hunt."

Kelsey has been part of The Goddard School family since 2024. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the College of Holy Cross, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and plans to return to school for her Master’s degree. While this is her first formal teaching position, Kelsey has enjoyed working with children in a variety of educational settings. She believes that early childhood education lays the foundation for a lifetime of learning and loves making each child’s experience fun and meaningful. Kelsey’s favorite children’s books include Go Away Big Green Monster, Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?, and Pete the Cat: I Love My White Shoes. She is also a devoted animal lover with 10 pets!

Kim joined the Goddard family in 2025. She graduated from Belmont High School in 2006 and went on to study Psychology at UMass Boston. A dedicated mom, Kim brings a wealth of experience working with children—from volunteering in her church daycare to over five years of teaching, primarily with toddlers. She was drawn to teaching by children's natural curiosity, carefree spirits, and their infectious joy in discovering the world around them. Kim finds it incredibly rewarding to witness how quickly young minds grow and develop. One of her favorite children’s book series is Little Critter, which she loves sharing with her students.

Kimmy has been a valued member of The Goddard School family since 2011. She holds Infant/Toddler and Preschool Teacher certifications from the state of Massachusetts and has been working with children since she was 16, bringing over 25 years of experience with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarteners. Kimmy is passionate about continuing her professional growth through trainings and workshops, staying current with the latest trends in early childhood education. She loves singing, dancing, and creating joyful moments with children, treating each one as if they were her own. Kimmy adores her three nieces, and in her free time enjoys Disney, the Red Sox, and practicing yoga.

Laura has been a valued member of The Goddard School family since 2017. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development from Mount Ida College and brings nearly nine years of experience working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Laura has always known she wanted to work with children and delights in reading to her toddlers, especially Sandra Boynton books. Outside the classroom, she enjoys reading Harry Potter and continuing her professional development to deepen her knowledge of early childhood education. Laura loves empowering children to accomplish anything they set their minds to and takes joy in watching toddlers explore their independence. She is a lifelong Patriots fan and was honored with the Team Player of the Year Award in 2018.

Maria joined The Goddard School in 2025 and is currently studying Early Childhood Education at Quinsigamond Community College. Inspired by the caring teachers she had in high school, she knew she wanted to become a teacher and make a difference in children's lives. She loves helping children explore and experience things for the first time, especially through art—her favorite subject to teach. Maria finds joy in watching children reach milestones and grow each day. One of her favorite books to share with her students is The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

Marissa joins The Goddard School with five years of childcare experience and an Associate’s degree in Elementary Education. She loves seeing children’s excitement as they learn and grow and finds joy in helping them succeed. Marissa became a teacher because she loves learning just as much as the children do! She is dedicated to creating a positive, nurturing, and loving environment for her students every day. Some of her favorite children’s books are If You Give a Mouse a Cookie by Laura Numeroff and The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein.

Mikayla has been part of The Goddard family since 2024. She brings prior experience working with children in school settings, including a Goddard School in Nevada. Mikayla is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at SNHU. She has a true passion for teaching and loves making a positive impact on children’s lives. Her favorite part of teaching is seeing children’s genuine curiosity and excitement as they explore and learn. Mikayla is also a devoted mom and enjoys spending her free time with her family. Her favorite children’s books are the Pete the Cat series.

Milan joined the Goddard family in 2025. She is a student at QCC studying Early Childhood Education and is certified by the MA Department of EEC as an Infant, Toddler, and Preschool Teacher. She has always been passionate about working with young children and has spent her life helping care for her younger cousins. Milan strives to be the kind of teacher she needed as a child—one who is caring, supportive, and encouraging. Her favorite part of teaching is celebrating every milestone, big or small, as children grow and learn. Her favorite children’s book is Loud and Quiet, and her favorite song to sing with little ones is The Wheels on the Bus.

Morgan has been a part of the Goddard family since 2024. She is a graduate of Bay Path High School, where she studied drafting and architecture. She has always gravitated towards helping little ones, as she has two younger siblings and 4 nieces and nephews, and is excited to take on her first role as an educator. Morgan is committed to making the learning environment a safe, fun place to learn and discover new things. Her favorite children's book is "The Giving Tree", her favorite children's song is "The Ants Go Marching", and her favorite children's game is Duck, Duck, Goose.

Nicole has been part of the Goddard family since 2020. She is a Teaching Assistant who works with toddlers and preschoolers. Nicole attends Worcester State University and is pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education. She has had several years of experience working with children, including an internship at a preschool, working in a Before and After School Program, and experience at a center-based program working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Nicole is also an avid field hockey player. Her favorite book is "Wonder".

Rachael has been teaching since 2015 and joins The Goddard School with a wealth of experience. She earned her degree in Early Childhood Education from Southern New Hampshire University. Originally planning to teach 1st grade, she discovered her love for preschoolers and enjoys watching children learn through play. Her favorite part of teaching is seeing the "I got it!" moments and their joyful expressions. Rachael hopes to pursue her master’s degree in the future. Her favorite children’s book is the classic If You Give a Mouse a Cookie!

Reneldine has been a part of the Goddard family since 2026. Known to her students as Ms. Ren, she has taken college-level coursework, including courses in early childhood education, and is Infant, Toddler, and Preschool Teacher Certified. She is deeply passionate about child development and believes that children thrive best when they feel safe, supported, and happy. Ms. Ren’s favorite part of teaching is building meaningful relationships with her students and creating a classroom environment where every child feels joyful and excited to learn. She loves keeping children engaged and active throughout the day, often incorporating movement songs and interactive activities during group time. Her energetic and caring approach helps make the classroom a fun, nurturing place where children can grow and shine.

Taylor has been a part of the Goddard family since 2026, and brings prior childcare experience working with toddlers. She is excited to be part of the Bridge classroom. Taylor is EEC Infant, Toddler, and Preschool Teacher Certified and is passionate about supporting children during this important stage of growth and development. Taylor loves watching children grow and appreciates how each child learns in their own unique way. She enjoys being a meaningful part of each child’s early childhood experience and helping lay the foundation for a lifetime of learning. Her favorite part of teaching is seeing children reach important milestones and witnessing the joy and pride on their faces when they learn something new.

Abby has been part of The Goddard School family since 2024. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and plans to pursue her Master’s degree in the future. Abby has always enjoyed working with children, gaining experience through her local church program and by assisting her mom at the childcare center where she worked. She loves helping children explore the world around them through hands-on learning in a fun, safe, and nurturing environment. Abby’s favorite children’s book is Oh, the Places You’ll Go by Dr. Seuss.

Ally joined The Goddard School in 2024 and is currently a student at Auburn High School. She is thrilled to begin her teaching journey and gain hands-on experience in the classroom. Inspired by her mom’s career in education, Ally has always known she wanted to be a teacher and loves every moment spent with young learners. Her favorite children’s song is Wheels on the Bus—she loves how it gets everyone smiling and singing along!

Ally has been part of The Goddard School family since 2023. She is currently a student at the University of Florida, studying Kinesiology on the Pre-Med track. Growing up with a younger sister, Ally has always enjoyed caring for and supporting children. She has also spent the past three years teaching dance at her local dance school, where she discovered her love for working with young learners. Ally finds joy in helping children grow, learn, and develop new skills each day.

Arianna has been part of The Goddard School family since 2023. She is currently a student at Auburn High School, where she took a child development course and loved the opportunity to volunteer in the Auburn Preschool classroom. Arianna also has hands-on experience caring for her younger brothers and cousins, and she’s always enjoyed being around children—playing, learning, and having fun together. Her favorite part of working with young learners is watching them accomplish goals and reach new milestones. Arianna’s favorite children’s book is The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle.

Ava is a graduate of Auburn High School and is currently studying Early Childhood Education at Worcester State University. She has experience babysitting children of all ages and is excited to continue learning about child development through hands-on classroom experience. Ava believes teachers play a vital role in a child’s life and is passionate about helping shape young learners into confident, curious, and life-long learners.

Brooke has been part of The Goddard School family since 2022. She is currently a senior at Auburn High School and plans to attend college to study either Pediatric Nursing or Early Childhood Education. Through her school’s Early Childhood Education program, Brooke gained hands-on experience working with young children at the Auburn Preschool. Outside of school and work, she enjoys cheerleading, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. Her favorite childhood book is Pinkalicious, and her favorite song to sing with children is You Are My Sunshine.

Caitlyn has been part of The Goddard School family since 2025. She brings experience as a nanny and loves seeing children learn, grow, and explore. Caitlyn finds teaching both fun and rewarding and has always enjoyed caring for others. She especially enjoys reading A Bad Case of the Stripes by David Shannon and singing If You’re Happy and You Know It with her students. Caitlyn also loves hosting lively dance parties in the classroom!

Ella has been part of The Goddard School family since 2024. She is a student at Auburn High School and has always loved being around children, including her younger sister and many little cousins she helps care for. Ella is excited to begin her first role as an educator and looks forward to helping children learn new skills and explore the world around them. Outside of school and work, she enjoys cheerleading and serving as an assistant coach for the younger cheerleading squad. Ella’s favorite children’s book is The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

Elli has been part of The Goddard School family since 2024. She is a student at Auburn High School and loves spending time with children. As a big sister and aunt, she has plenty of experience caring for little ones. Elli strives to be a safe and supportive presence for her students, serving as a role model and making a positive impact in their lives. Outside of school and work, she is an Honor Roll student and a member of her high school’s varsity Track & Field team. Her favorite children’s book is Goodnight, Moon, and her favorite game to play with children is tag.

Gianna has been part of The Goddard School family since 2024. She is currently a junior at Worcester State University, studying Elementary Education. Gianna brings experience from babysitting, classroom observations, and teaching dance—she has been a dancer for 18 years! She is proud of recently passing her first MTEL and is excited to begin her role as a Teaching Assistant. Gianna loves watching children work hard and succeed. She is also a new mom to a baby girl, Kennedy. Her favorite children’s song is Baby Shark!

Hailey has been part of The Goddard School family since 2017, when her mom, Ms. Amanda, became the director of The Goddard School of Auburn. She has spent many years assisting in classrooms as a “teacher’s helper” and is excited to step into her role as a Teaching Assistant. Hailey has experience helping with children of all ages, both in the classroom and at home with her three younger siblings, as well as through babysitting children from infancy through age five. She also volunteers with children’s programming at her local library. Hailey currently attends Killingly High School and plans to pursue a degree in Early Childhood Education in college, with the goal of teaching Kindergarten, first, or second grade.

Hailey has been part of The Goddard School family since 2024. She is currently attending Clark University, where she is majoring in Psychology. Hailey has experience babysitting, nannying, and working in childcare, and she loves spending time with young children. She especially enjoys watching them explore and discover the world around them. Hailey’s favorite children’s books are The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Chicka Chicka Boom Boom.

Haylee has been part of The Goddard School family since 2024. She is a student at Bay Path High School and loves spending time with children. Haylee gained experience working with young learners as an intern at Goddard during the 2023–2024 school year through her Health Technologies class. She looks forward to helping children grow, explore, and shine in everything they do. Haylee’s favorite children’s book is If You Give a Mouse a Cookie.

Jaida has been part of The Goddard School family since 2025. She is a student at South High Community School and participates in their Early Childhood Education Co-Op Program, which allows her to gain hands-on experience in our classrooms each afternoon. Jaida loves being around children and is excited to apply her passion for learning and teaching to make a positive impact on young learners. Her favorite children’s book is If You Give a Mouse a Cookie.

Julia has been part of The Goddard School family since 2025. She is a student at Worcester State University, where she is studying Psychology. Inspired by her mother, who worked with children, Julia developed a love for helping young learners. She has experience in child care settings and especially enjoys connecting one-on-one with children, ensuring each child feels seen and valued. Julia’s favorite children’s books are anything by Dr. Seuss.

Julia has been part of The Goddard School family since 2025. She graduated from high school in 2023 and is now pursuing a degree in Psychology. Julia has spent years working with children, from leading camps and church groups to teaching gymnastics at a local gym. She loves teaching young children for their joy, curiosity, and energy, and believes she learns as much from them as they do from her. Julia’s favorite children’s book is One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish, and her favorite song is The Monster Shuffle. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, staying active, and reading.

Katie has been part of The Goddard School family for many years, having attended The Goddard School of Auburn as a child! She is excited to join the team as a Teaching Assistant and brings experience from babysitting and working as a summer camp counselor. Katie is currently studying Early Childhood Education at Worcester State University, inspired by her mom, who is a Kindergarten teacher. She loves watching children learn, grow, and adjust to new experiences, and her favorite part of teaching is sharing smiles and laughter with her students. Katie enjoys all Dr. Seuss books, especially Green Eggs and Ham, and her favorite song to sing with children is The Wheels on the Bus, complete with hand motions!

Maddy is a student at Bay Path High School with a big heart for children. She loves being a positive role model and has plenty of experience babysitting for family and friends. Maddy enjoys sparking creativity and fun through arts and crafts, reading, and playing outside with children. When she isn’t spending time with kids, she loves staying active by playing sports like lacrosse and basketball.

Mason joined the Goddard family in 2025. He is originally from Washington State and is currently studying Mathematics Education and Theater Arts at Clark University. Mason has experience working with children both as a tutor and in a child care setting. Passionate about education, Mason hopes to become a teacher to make a meaningful impact and support children's growth. He especially enjoys working with young children and appreciates the many ways they express themselves. Mason is excited to be part of the Goddard team and to continue learning about early childhood development.

Maureen joined The Goddard School in 2025. She majored in Geography at Worcester State University and has completed several courses in Early Childhood Education. Born in Kenya, she moved to the U.S. at age three and learned English in school—an experience that sparked her love for teaching. Maureen is passionate about making a positive impact on a child's first school experience and admires children's natural curiosity and eagerness to learn. She brings experience from classroom, before- and after-school programs, and summer camp settings. Her favorites include *Goodnight Moon*, the song “Old MacDonald,” and the game “Duck Duck Goose.”

Mia joined the Goddard family in 2025. She is a graduate of Auburn High and attended Worcester State University to study Early Childhood Education. She is currently taking a year off from school but remains passionate about working with children. Mia has experience tutoring middle and high school students and has dreamed of becoming a teacher since the third grade. She finds inspiration in watching children grow, learn, and reach new milestones. Mia strives to create a classroom that feels comfortable, positive, and safe for every child. Her favorite song is You Are My Sunshine, and she loves reading Goodnight Moon with young learners.

Mikayla has been a part of the Goddard family since 2026. She attended Coastal Carolina University, where she studied Early Childhood Education, and is currently continuing her education at Bay Path University in Education Studies. From a young age, Mikayla has known she wanted to work with children and finds great joy in helping them grow, develop, and reach important milestones. Her favorite part of teaching is watching children light up with excitement when they learn something new or accomplish a new milestone. Mikayla is enthusiastic about continuing to grow as an educator while being part of The Goddard School community and is committed to creating a positive, nurturing learning environment for every child.

Sofia has been part of The Goddard School family since 2022. She is a senior at Auburn High School and the oldest of three children. Sofia finds teaching children incredibly rewarding, enjoying the opportunity to watch their personalities and confidence grow. She was recently accepted into college as an Early Childhood Education major and is excited to begin this next chapter. Sofia is a big Disney fan and loves all Disney movies and songs!
