Our Goddard School Teachers

We are Denise and Mitch Manders, proud owners of the Goddard Schools of West Noblesville and West Carmel. We started our journey as owners in July of 2022. Prior to owning a Goddard school, we both spent our careers in various leadership roles within accounting/finance. We have three children – Evan, Noah and Layla, who keep us very busy throughout the year! All of our children are proud Goddard Graduates! Having experienced being parents at a Goddard School, we recognize how important it is to create an environment of love and empowerment for the children and teachers. With our backgrounds in business and our passion for making a difference for others, we are excited to be a part of your child's life!

Rachel has worked for The Goddard School since 2022 and holds a MA in Education with a minor in Early Childhood. She believes that the best way as a director to support the students, is to be a support for the teachers. As an educator, Rachel has served as a lead teacher for more than 12 years and loves being in the classroom. In her director role, she strives to build meaningful relationships with everyone in the school community; students, families, and staff alike.

Mahim is an experienced early childhood education professional holding a Master of Education in Early Childhood Education. Over the past 3+ years, she has developed a comprehensive understanding of childcare operations by serving as a teacher, office assistant, program lead, assistant director, and director. Driven by a philosophy that views the child as a whole and utilizes play as a primary tool for learning, Mahim is committed to fostering safe, nurturing environments where young minds can safely explore and thrive.

Brynly holds an AS in early childhood education and has been working in the field since 2021. She believes every child deserves a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where they feel valued, respected, and encouraged to grow. Her goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom where every child feels valued, respected, and excited to learn. She strives to provide hands-on, play-based learning experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity, and independence while supporting each child's individual needs and developmental milestones.

Lizzie graduated from Ball State in spring of 2026, receiving her BA degree in Early Childhood education. She has been working in early childhood education since 2020 and had grown from a float teacher all the way up to a lead teacher. She believes in order to provide the best level of care and education, we must see the children as whole, entire human beings- not just one which is yet to be whole. Her goals are to grow as an educator, expanding her set of tools and teaching strategies, as well as cultivate a safe environment for the children to do just the same.

With her CDA and 10 years of experience, Jacora believes every child learns best through love, play, exploration, and positive relationships. Her goal is to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where infants and toddlers feel valued, supported, and encouraged to grow at their own pace. She strives to support each child's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development, encourage curiosity, exploration, and learning through play, foster independence and confidence through age-appropriate activities and routines, and build strong partnerships with families to support each child's growth and success.

Joey is currently pursuing her BA in early childhood education from Indiana University Kokomo. She comes to Goddard bringing her experience from multiple age groups, from 2-year-olds up to 8th graders. She wants all of her students and their families to feel welcomed and to feel like they can come to her with any comments, ideas, or concerns regarding anything pertaining to the student. Our classroom is a safe place!

With more than 12 years of experience in childcare, Olivia has worked in nearly every role within the field, including serving as a director for several years. She is currently pursuing her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and plans to continue her education by earning a degree in Early Childhood Education. Her extensive experience has provided her with a strong understanding of all aspects of childcare, allowing her to effectively support children, families, and fellow educators. Olivia is passionate about teaching and excited to return to the classroom, where she strives to create a fun, engaging, and welcoming learning environment. She believes children should be learning every day through meaningful and exciting experiences. Her goal is to establish healthy routines, maintain a clean and organized classroom, and build strong relationships with each child so they feel safe, comfortable, and confident while their parents are away.

Zachary holds a BA in education and has spent time with students ranging from kindergarten to 3rd grade. He believes that learning through play and hands on activities is extremely important for young learners. His goals for his students are to help them express and manage their emotions and learn to be successful in a classroom environment.

Alaze is in progress of completing her bachelor’s degree in psychology with a special interest in the development of young adults and children. She started in early childhood education in 2023, and has found that her favorite age group to work with is two year olds. She believes that great teaching stems from patience and understanding, paying particular attention to and supporting transitions that may be difficult for littles. One of her goals is to create a warm and inviting classroom and to provide a space of community for her students.

Charisma is currently working towards obtaining her CDA and has been working in childcare settings since 2021. Her teaching philosophy centers around child led and play based learning environments. She implements hands on activities that reflect the students' interests. Charisma's goal is to help her students' progress and grow throughout their time in her classroom.

Teresa attended Purdue University and has over 15 years of experience in early childhood education. Her teaching philosophy centers around the idea of helping young minds to develop and encouraging growth and learning. She strives to build strong relationships, not only with her students, but also with their families in order to work together for the best interest of the child.

With five years of experience in early childhood education and a background in teaching Berber and French to middle schoolers, Nadjia is dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported. Her educational background has helped her build strong communication skills, patience, and effective classroom management, which she uses to encourage social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Nadjia strongly believes that children thrive best through play, hands-on exploration, and positive relationships, and she is excited to bring her passion for working with children to the daycare while helping them build confidence, independence, and a lifelong curiosity for learning.

With a CDA certification, and college coursework, Kelly brings extensive experience in both education and student support to the classroom. She has spent 15 years as a preschool teacher and more than four decades working with children as a school bus driver. Passionate about early childhood education, she believes in helping shape young minds into confident, responsible, and successful adults. She strives to make each day a positive and enjoyable experience, builds strong relationships with children and their families, provides a structured and nurturing environment, and encourages every child to develop responsibility, independence, and a love of learning.

With a CDA certification and experience working with children from infancy through school age, Megan is dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive. Her background includes serving as both a lead and assistant teacher, supporting daily routines, planning age-appropriate activities, fostering social-emotional development, and building strong partnerships with families. She believes that every child is unique and deserves to feel safe, valued, and loved. Guided by a philosophy that children learn best through play, hands-on experiences, and positive relationships, she strives to be patient, encouraging, and supportive while helping each child build confidence and independence. Her goal is to create a classroom that feels welcoming and inclusive, inspires curiosity and kindness, and provides meaningful opportunities for growth, exploration, and learning.

Ebony brings a deep passion for early childhood education and child development with more than 20 years of experience working with children from infancy through age 12. She holds an Associate of Arts degree in General Studies from IU Indianapolis and has dedicated much of her career to supporting children and families through high-quality childcare and enrichment programs. One of her proudest accomplishments is raising and advocating for her autistic son, who graduated high school in 2026. She believes that learning is a lifelong journey and that when we know better, we have a responsibility to do better. In the classroom, she strives to create a loving, structured, and predictable environment that feels like a home away from home, while remaining flexible and responsive to each child’s unique needs.

With seven years of experience working with children, Hiillary is passionate about helping students learn, grow, and thrive. She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Missouri and brings a unique background that includes both education and healthcare. Her experiences serving children in different countries through teaching and medical outreach strengthened her commitment to working in education. She believes that great teachers learn and grow alongside their students and values patience, flexibility, and meeting each child where they are in their learning journey. Her goal is to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom where every child feels supported, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
