    Ms. Tana holds a Bachelor of Science degree from SDSU and is the proud parent of two young children—both of whom have been cared for and supported by the wonderful teachers here at The Goddard School. Her connection to Goddard began as a parent, where she saw firsthand the safe, nurturing, and joyful environment that helped her children grow and develop a true love of learning. Inspired by the positive impact Goddard had on her own family, Ms. Tana followed her passion for education and opened her own Goddard School. She is grateful for the opportunity to provide the same supportive, high-quality experience to families in the community and is committed to creating a place where all children can thrive.

    Ms. Angel holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing and brings over a decade of experience in Early Childhood Education, including eight wonderful years with The Goddard School. She is passionate about creating high-quality early learning experiences and firmly believes that a strong foundation in early childhood sets the stage for lifelong success. As a dedicated leader, Ms. Angel works closely with teachers, families, and children to ensure a nurturing, safe, and engaging school environment. Outside of school, Ms. Angel enjoys spending time with her three children, who keep her busy with sports and extracurricular activities. In her free time, she loves to travel, listen to music, and write.

    Ms. Claire is the Assistant Director of Education at The Goddard School and has worked in preschool for nearly 10 years. She is currently pursuing her degree in Early Childhood Education and is passionate about providing high-quality education to every child. Her goal is to make school a fun and interactive experience while building strong connections with families, helping them feel welcomed and engaged in the Goddard community. Ms. Claire loves planning events and creating interactive classroom displays that bring families together and celebrate each child’s learning journey. When she isn’t at work or school, you can find her riding horses with her children, enjoying quality time outdoors.

    Ms. Tammy brings over nine years of experience in Early Childhood Education to the Meerkat Classroom. She loves working with infants and especially enjoys watching them grow and reach new milestones. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Tammy treasures time with her family, including her two daughters, one son, and four grandchildren. Her favorite season is football season, when she enjoys cheering on her teams and spending time with loved ones.

    Ms. Tara has over a decade of experience in Early Childhood Education, serving as both a teacher and an Assistant Director, with most of those years spent at The Goddard School. She loves working with infants and especially enjoys watching their personalities emerge and develop. Originally from New Orleans, Ms. Tara is a proud mom of three daughters and two sons. In her free time, she enjoys crafting and spending time with her family.

    Ms. Skylar is one of the assistant teachers in our Infant Meerkats classroom. As a mom of two girls who attend Goddard, she brings a deeply nurturing and understanding approach to caring for our youngest learners. Her calm, gentle energy creates a soothing environment where infants feel safe, comforted, and loved. Ms. Skylar also enjoys helping create beautiful art and displays that brighten the classroom and celebrate each child’s growth. She truly embodies what it means to be a nurturing caregiver, and the infants adore the warmth and care she brings each day.

    Ms. Sarah serves as the Lead Teacher in the Zebra classroom, bringing several years of dedicated experience in education to our preschool team. Known for her wonderful energy and unwavering positivity, she excels at creating a learning environment where children feel empowered to be themselves. Ms. Sarah is passionate about fostering a fun, welcoming atmosphere each day, ensuring that every child in the Zebra room is excited to learn and explore. With a natural enthusiasm that is contagious, Ms. Sarah focuses on making the classroom a place of discovery and growth. She takes pride in building a space where curiosity is celebrated and every student feels a sense of belonging. When she isn’t inspiring our young learners, Ms. Sarah is a true music enthusiast—you can often find her attending concerts and exploring local venues to discover new artists and enjoy live performances.

    Ms. Estela is a cornerstone of our teaching team, having been with The Goddard School for nearly 13 years. As the Lead Teacher in the Penguin classroom, she brings a "bubbly" energy and a wealth of experience that helps her students feel truly seen and supported. Ms. Estela is deeply invested in the wellbeing of her students, focusing on building a solid foundation that allows every child to thrive both socially and academically. As a devoted mother herself, Ms. Estela understands the importance of a nurturing educational environment. She treats her classroom like a second home, ensuring a warm and encouraging atmosphere for all her "little Penguins." When she isn’t at school, Ms. Estela is a dedicated "sports mom"—you can almost always find her on the sidelines of her own children’s sporting events, cheering them on and enjoying quality time with her family.

    Ms. Wanda is the Assistant Teacher in our Penguin classroom and serves as a true pillar of our toddler hall. Known for her incredibly kind and patient nature, she brings a deep sense of love, care, and nurturing energy to the room every single day. Ms. Wanda believes that the best way to connect with children is to meet them where they are, and she takes great joy in fully immersing herself in their world of play. Whether she is building masterpieces on the floor or engaging in imaginative games, Ms. Wanda ensures that every toddler feels heard, supported, and cherished. Her gentle presence creates a calming atmosphere that allows our youngest learners to feel safe as they navigate their big world. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Wanda carries that same nurturing spirit into her daily life, always looking for ways to bring a little more kindness to those around her.

    Ms. Meeka is the lead teacher in our Toddler Kangaroos classroom and a seasoned professional in early childhood education. As a mom of five, she brings a deep understanding of children’s needs and a nurturing, family-centered approach to her classroom. She loves incorporating art into daily learning, giving toddlers creative ways to express themselves and explore the world around them. Her dedication to creating a loving, safe, and engaging environment helps every child feel supported and confident. When she isn’t at school, you can usually find Ms. Meeka cheering on one of her children at their many activities.

    Miss Nicole is the assistant teachers in the Toddler Kangaroos classroom. With a warm, motherly approach inspired by raising her four daughters, she brings comfort, patience, and reassurance to even the youngest learners. She loves watching toddlers grow, explore, and reach new milestones, and she takes great pride in helping create a classroom that is always safe, clean, and nurturing. Her attentiveness and calm presence help children feel secure and ready to learn each day. Outside of school, Miss Nicole enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

    Ms. Lauren is a seasoned educator and serves as the Lead Teacher in the Dolphin classroom. As a mother herself, Ms. Lauren takes immense pride in treating every child in her care with the same warmth and devotion she gives her own, ensuring they feel loved and supported throughout their school day. In the Dolphin room, Ms. Lauren focuses on creating an environment that inspires creativity and encourages young minds to dream big. She believes that a classroom should be a place of both discovery and comfort, where every "little" feels safe to explore their unique talents. Outside of the classroom, she stays busy enjoying family life and bringing that same maternal care and creative spirit to everything she does.

    Miss Taylor is our Two's Assistant Teacher in the Dolphin classroom. She has been babysitting for family and friends for over 10 years. She enjoys building a connection with both the children and parents. In her free time, Miss Taylor loves to play basketball!

    Ms. Brigitte is one of our Two's Lead Teachers in the Sealion classroom. She currently holds her Infant/Toddler CDA's and has close to 10 years experience in Early Childhood Education. She loves to get to know each of her kids and watching them grow. You will always hear music coming from her classroom. In her free time, Ms. Brigitte loves to spend time with her friends and family!

    Ms. Destiny is one of our Two's Assistant Teachers in the Sealion classroom. She has four years of experience in Early Childhood Education and holds her Infant/Toddler CDA's. She is also currently working on her Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education. She loves building bonds with her kids and having the opportunity to watch them grow. Her favorite activities with the children are the creative art projects. She has two young boys who also attend Goddard School. In her free time, Ms. Destiny likes to read, shop, and travel.

    Miss Tanesha serves as our Get Set Lead Teacher in the Bear classroom. She holds her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and brings over 11 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. One of her favorite activities to do with the children is sensory play, as she loves watching them explore and grow through discovery. In her free time, Miss Tanesha enjoys listening to music to help her relax and spending quality time with her son.

    Ms. Asya is our Get Set Assistant Teacher in the Bear classroom. She has been with the Goddard School since 2022 where she began her Early Childhood Education journey as a floater. She loves working with children because it brings out her own inner child! In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

    Ms. Merlyn is one of our Preschool I Lead Teachers in the Giraffe classroom. She has 3 years of Early Childhood Education experience with the Goddard School. She is working hard to obtain her CDA's. Ms. Merlyn loves to make creative lesson plans that assist with the children's curiosity and growth. She also enjoys making her decor come to life in her classroom!

    Ms. Selene is one of our Lead Preschool Teachers in the Giraffe classroom. She has been working in Early Childhood Education for over six years. Her favorite activity to do with the children is art projects. Ms. Selene enjoys spending her free time with her 2 daughters and 2 sons. She loves her cats, listening to music, and she loves to clean and organize.

    Ms. Selena is the lead teacher in our Preschool Cheetahs classroom. She holds her Child Development Associate (CDA) and brings several years of early childhood experience to our center. She is passionate about creating a classroom environment that feels like home—warm, welcoming, and full of engaging, hands-on learning. She loves implementing curriculum that sparks curiosity and helps children explore, create, and grow with confidence. When she’s not teaching, Ms. Selena enjoys spending time outdoors with her dogs and relaxing at home with fun game nights. She brings that same joy, energy, and sense of community into her classroom every day.

    Ms. Veronica is an Assistant Teacher in the Cheetahs classroom and has been dedicated to the field of early childhood education since 2021. She finds great joy in supporting her students' development and finds it incredibly rewarding to watch each child reach new milestones. Originally from New Jersey, Veronica recently relocated to Indiana and is excited to bring her experience and passion to our local community. Ms. Veronica is known for bringing a calm, steady energy to the classroom. She takes great pride in maintaining an organized, clean, and safe environment where children feel secure and ready to explore. When she isn’t in the classroom, Veronica expresses her creativity through writing and drawing, often bringing that same artistic eye to her work with the Cheetahs.

    Ms. Niki is one of our Lead Pre-K teachers in the Tigers classroom. With eight years of experience in Early Childhood Education, she loves guiding young learners and celebrating the many milestones they reach throughout the year. She earned her Associate’s Degree from Ivy Tech and is currently continuing her education at Ball State University, where she is pursuing a Marketing degree with a minor in Anthropology. Her passion for learning inspires the curiosity and enthusiasm she brings to her classroom every day. In her free time, Ms. Niki enjoys going to concerts and spending time with her dog at the dog park.

    Ms. Nevaeh is an Assistant Teacher in our Pre-K Tiger classroom, where she brings a joyful and energetic spirit to our oldest learners. As a Goddard parent herself with a child currently attending our school, she has a unique "insider" perspective and a deep personal investment in our school community. She understands firsthand the importance of a nurturing environment and loves being part of the daily growth of all our students. In the Tiger room, Ms. Nevaeh is known for her hands-on approach to learning through play. She truly enjoys getting on the children's level, engaging in their games, and ensuring that every day is filled with laughter and fun. Her goal is to make sure our Pre-K students head toward kindergarten with a genuine love for school and many happy memories of their time in the Tiger class.

    Miss Mary began her Early Childhood Education journey with us in 2024. As one of our dedicated floater teachers, she enjoys supporting all age groups and building connections with children throughout the school. She is currently in her third year of college, working toward her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Miss Mary loves engaging children in creative art projects and sensory play—especially activities that allow them to get a little messy and explore freely. She also takes great pride in capturing all of life’s special classroom moments to share with families. In her free time, Miss Mary enjoys hiking, skiing, exploring the city, and dancing. Before joining us, she spent 15 years as a competitive dancer, a passion that continues to inspire her creativity today.

    Ms. Sarah is one of our infant/toddler Floaters. She is currently in school and working on her degree. Her favorite part of working with children is reading to them or finding a fun craft to do with the whole class. Outside of the school, she is interested in spending time with her family and going to the gym.

    Kitchen Manager
    Ms. Shelby is our dedicated Chef Manager and brings over 10 years of experience in the culinary field to our school. She holds a Culinary Arts Diploma and is currently furthering her education by pursuing certification to become a Nutritionist. This path is driven by her deep passion for providing healthy, delicious, and nutritionally balanced meals for our students each day. Originally from Indianapolis, Ms. Shelby enjoys running, reading, and a little online shopping in her free time. Her favorite part about working with children is their unpredictable and silly nature, which always keeps her smiling.
