Our Goddard School Teachers

Ms. Megan is the Owner of our school. She and her husband, Kevin, purchased the school in June 2013. As the parent of three young children, Megan recognizes the importance of a safe and nurturing learning environment. Her family is the basis for the reason she chose Goddard. Megan's professional experience is in non-profit administration and disability services. Most recently she co-founded and was Executive Director for Outside the Box, a local not for profit serving adults with disabilities and their families. Megan earned her Bachelor's Degree from Butler University and a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Indianapolis.

Allie joined the Goddard family in 2021! She holds a Bachelor's Degree from Ball State University and furthered her knowledge of early childhood education by obtaining a Child Development Associate. Allie knew early in life that her passion of caring for others ran deep. She began her career as an Autism Intervention Professional at Damar Services then spent more than a decade supporting adults with disabilities in classroom settings, as well as leading faculty as a member of the administrative team, at an organization called Outside the Box. In 2021, Allie found her niche in early childhood education after joining the Goddard School as the lead Pre-K teacher. She gained experience leading all age groups within Goddard in a teacher trainer role before becoming a member of the administrative team! Allie believes that early childhood is when a life-long love of learning is developed. Guiding children to harness their individual greatness as they explore their innate curiosities is key!

Ms. April has been with our school family since 2014. She holds an Associate Degree in Business Administration as well as her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, with a specialization in infants and toddlers. Before stepping into her leadership role, Ms. April spent nearly a decade as a toddler teacher, where she built strong relationships with children and families while creating a nurturing, engaging learning environment. Today, as our Director of Operations, she combines her passion for early childhood education with her organizational and leadership skills to help ensure our school runs smoothly each day. Ms. April is dedicated to supporting our teachers, partnering with families, and creating a positive, safe, and welcoming environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive.

Ms. Angelique joined our Goddard Family in 2017 and has two daughters of her own. She has completed her Associate's Degree in early childhood education and has previously worked with infants and toddlers at her church childcare. Ms. Angelique feels each child is special and unique. She believes they should always be encouraged to learn and feel great about their accomplishments.

Ms. Jailen joined our Goddard Family in 2024. She previously taught early preschool in a center based program, and began her degree for Early Childhood Education from Indiana State University. She believes that children learn best when they are able to explore an organized and structured learning environment.

Ms. Kierstyn joined our Goddard Family in 2025. She has years of experience working with children including babysitting, working with children with special needs, and childcare experience. Ms. Kierstyn is currently working to obtain her Child Development Associate and believes that children learn best when they have a calm and loving environment.

Ms. Nakia joined our Goddard Family in 2025. She comes to us with several years of experience nannying and had the opportunity to support K-5th graders on one-on-one assignments for nearly a year. Additionally, she worked part time in the childcare center attached to the elementary school. Ms. Nakia believes that children learn best when they are loved and comforted.

Ms. Sudha joined our Goddard Family in 2024 and has her Master's in business administration from India. She is currently furthering her knowledge of early childhood education by working to obtain her Child Development Associate! Ms. Sudha has had several years of experience volunteering in daycares and also worked at another Goddard location in Washington. She enjoys being a mother to her two younger boys and believes that children learn best when they feel loved and secure.

Ms. Maria joined our Goddard Family in 2025! Maria has a CDA and a high school diploma. Maria has worked with various ages in childcare, often including organizing curriculum and fun activities for her kids. Before her career in childcare, she worked closely with the elderly. She believes that building a nurturing relationship with the child and the child's family helps foster the best environment for learning and growing!

Ms. Janelle joined our Goddard family in 2015. She has over ten years of early childhood education experience and earned her Child Development Associate Certification. Ms. Janelle believes each child is unique and needs a secure, caring, and stimulating environment for learning.

Ms. Ella joined our Goddard family in 2025 with several years of babysitting experience. She is currently furthering her knowledge of early childhood education by working to obtain her Child Development Associate. Ella has a strong desire to see children learn in a loving and consistent environment. She finds teaching extremely rewarding and continues to feel honored to be able to play a crucial role in the children's development here at the Goddard School!

Ms. Nermeen is an Assistant Teacher in our Two’s classroom and joined our Goddard Family in 2024. She worked with students in Egypt prior to relocating to the United States. Ms. Nermeen believes children learn best when they are loved and cared for.

Ms. Odeta joined our Goddard Family in 2019. She holds her Master’s degree in Industrial and Labor Psychology from Albania. Prior to joining our Goddard Family, she had previous experience in childcare in Albania. Ms. Odeta is a mom of one and is warm and nurturing.

Ms. Kerah joined our Goddard Family in 2025. She is currently attending Ivy Tech pursuing a degree in education. Ms. Kerah enjoys babysitting as well as interacting with her nieces and nephews on a regular basis. She enjoys teaching due to having a strong desire to guide the younger generation, and believes children learn best when they are loved.

Ms. Nisha joined our Goddard Family in 2026.

Ms. Trish joined our Goddard Family in 2020. She is the Lead Teacher in our Jr. K classroom. Her background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, and she comes to us with over 30 years of experience teaching children Pre-K through 1st grade! Ms. Trish is a mom of two grown children. She believes that children learn best through play and loves teaching with children’s literature!

Ms. Kirsten joined our Goddard family in 2021. She came to us after spending the last ten years working with middle schoolers and previously owning her own in-home childcare center. Ms. Kirsten is a mom of two and believes children learn best when the individual child is both seen and heard!

Ms. Kaitlyn joined our Goddard Family in 2024. Her previous experience includes teaching preschool for another childcare center and teaching special needs in public schools. Ms. Kaitlyn believes each child learns best when surrounded by a welcoming environment.

Ms. Jala joined our Goddard Family in 2025. Her previous experience includes working with kids in a childcare center, working at a trampoline park, and swimming pool. Ms. Jala is currently enrolled in school to obtain her degree in Early Childhood Education and believes that children learn best when teachers are patient and teach to the learning style of the child.

Ms. Day joined our Goddard family in 2025. She is very passionate about working with children and has had experience working in the childcare industry for over two years. Ms. Day believes that children learn best when they are able to connect with their teachers and are able to feel supported in being given opportunities to develop their social emotional skills.

Ms. Ava joined our Goddard Family in 2026.

Ms. Angela joined our Goddard Family in 2026.

Ms. Maren joined our Goddard Family in 2025. Maren is currently a senior at our local high school. Maren has been able to discover her passion for childcare through the high school's placement program. Maren has always felt a pull to childcare through previous jobs like camp counseling and babysitting. Maren believes in a gentle teaching approach and thinks connection is key!

Ms. Jossy joined our Goddard Family in 2024. Ms. Jossy is currently furthering her early childhood education at BSU and strongly believes that children are naturally intelligent and very imaginative. She implements teaching each child in a unique way.

Mr. Drew joined our Goddard Family in 2025 as our kitchen cook. He has had over ten years of experience in the food industry as a manager and a leader in the kitchen. Mr. Drew did work in summer camps and in after care school programs when he was younger; and in high school, also worked with children who had special needs. He loves his ten-year-old son, and believes children learn best in a kind and safe environment.
