Our Goddard School Teachers

Mrs. Lori is the Owner of The Goddard School in Round Lake. Lori has been working with and overseeing educational programs since 1993. Her experience includes a wide variety of educational and business aspects. Lori has her MBA in both Project Management and Human Resources from Ellis College and an Educational Bachelor's degree from Carthage College along with continuing education in Early Childhood from National Louis University. Lori recognizes the important role that a caring and supportive environment plays in helping to create a fun, engaging, and dynamic learning atmosphere in which children can thrive and develop a life long love of learning.

Ms. Kelly is the Director at The Goddard School. Ms. Kelly joined our team in 2021 as the Assistant Director and was promoted to Director in 2022. Ms. Kelly has her Associate's Degree in Early Education, ECE Director Credential Level 1, ECE credential Level 4 and has been working in Early Childhood Education since 2005 and has been working in leadership roles since 2011.

Ms. Savannah is the Assistant Director at the Goddard School. Ms. Savannah has a M.S. in Mental Health and Wellness with an Emphasis in Family Dynamics, a B.S. in Management, Early Childhood credits from Harper College, Illinois Director Credential Level 2, and ECE Credential Level 4. Ms. Savannah has been working in Early Childhood Education since 2018. She has been with The Goddard School since 2025.

Ms. Lucia (Luci) is a Teacher in our Mighty Elks Classroom. Lucia has her Associate's Degree in Art, as well as an Associates in Applied Science Degree in Early Childhood Education. She has also received her Certificate as a School Age Child Care Specialist. Ms. Lucia also received her Infant Toddler Credential Level 4, ECE Credential Level 4 and her Illinois Director Level 1. Ms. Luci has been with The Goddard School since 2017.

Mrs. Michelle is a Teacher in our Cuddling Cubs Classroom. She has her Child Development Associate Certificate and an ECE Credential Level 2. Mrs. Michelle has been at The Goddard School since July 2020.

Ms. Esmerelda (Emmy) is an Assistant Teacher in our Cuddling Cubs Classroom. Ms. Emmy has her ECE Credential Level 1 and is currently working toward her Child Development Associate Certificate. Emmy has been working with The Goddard School since 2024.

Ms. Kristin is a Teacher in our Cuddling Cubs Infant Classroom. Ms. Kristin has her Child Development Associate Certificate along with her ECE Credential Level 1 and School Age Youth Development Credential Level 1. Ms. Kristin has been working at The Goddard School since 2017.

Mrs. Dipti is a Teacher in our Busy Bears Classroom. Mrs. Dipti has her Bachelor's Degree in Child Psychology and an ECE Credential Level 1. Mrs. Dipti has been at The Goddard School since 2014.

Ms. Mariana is a Teacher in our Cheerful Chipmunks Classroom and also helps out in other classrooms as needed. Ms. Mariana has an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education as well as a Gateways ECE Level 4 Credential and a Gateways Infant/Toddler Level 2 Credential. She has been with The Goddard School since 2025.

Mr. Matt is a Teacher in our Cheerful Chipmunks Classroom. He has an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and working towards his bachelors. He also has his Gateways ECE Credential Level 4 and his ECE Infant/ Toddler Credential 2. Mr. Matt has been with The Goddard School since 2020.

Ms. Lourdes (Lulu) is a Teacher in our Graceful Swans Classroom. She has an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, as well as a Gateways ECE Level 3 Credential. Ms. Lulu has been with The Goddard School since 2019.

Ms. Stephanie is an Assistant Teacher in our Darling Deers Classroom. She has a Gateways ECE Level 1 Credential. She worked in the childcare setting for four years prior to joining The Goddard School in 2023.

Mrs. Imelda is the Director Designee at the Goddard School. She is also the Lead Teacher in our Graceful Swans Classroom. Mrs. Imelda has her Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, an ECE Credential Level 4, Infant / Toddler Credential Level 4 and an Illinois Director Credential Level 1 and has over 20 years experience in Early Childhood Education. Mrs. Imelda has been working with The Goddard School since 2014.

Mrs. Maria (Naty) is an Assistant Teacher in our Darling Deers Classroom. She is currently working on her Child Development Associate Certificate and has several Early Childhood credits. Mrs. Naty transferred from another Goddard School in 2022 and has been with the company since 2017.

Ms. Ana is an Assistant Teacher in our Graceful Swans Classroom. She comes to us with two years of experience from another Goddard location, and also has her Gateways ECE Level 1 Credential. She has been working at the Goddard School since 2023.

Ms. Olivia is an Assistant Teacher in our Cheerful Chipmunks Classroom. She has her ECE Level 1 Credential and is working towards her Child Development Associate Certificate. Olivia has been working at The Goddard School since 2023.

Ms. Tammie is a Teacher in our Mighty Elks Classroom. Ms. Tammie has several Early Childhood Education credits from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. She has taught for many years in a preschool classroom. Ms. Tammie has been working at The Goddard School since 2021.

Ms. Abbi is an Assistant Teacher in our Busy Bears Classroom. She is currently working on her Child Development Associate and has her Gateways ECE Level 1 Credential. Abbi has been working at The Goddard School since 2024.

Mr. Jordan is a Teacher in many of our Goddard School classrooms. Mr. Jordan has his Bachelor's Degree from Carthage College in the field of physical education. Mr. Jordan has completed his ECE Level 4 along with his School Age & Youth Developmental Level 2, and ECE Director Level 1 Credential. Mr. Jordan has worked at The Goddard School since 2016.

Mrs. Kristin (Kiki) is a Teacher in our Jumping Jackrabbits Classroom. Mrs. Kiki has a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education, an ECE Illinois Director Credential level 2, ECE Credential Level 5 and an Infant/Toddler Credential 2. She has been at The Goddard School since 2021.

Ms. Lyzet is a Teacher in our Darling Deers Classroom at the Goddard School. Ms. Lyzet has her Associate's Degree and Gateways ECE Level 1 Credential. She has been working at The Goddard School since 2023.

Ms. Sally is our Kitchen Manager and also helps out in classrooms. She has 6 children is CPR and First-Aid Certified and has her Gateways ECE Level 1 Credential. She has been working at The Goddard School since 2022.

Mrs. Sayuri is a Teacher in our Jumping Jackrabbits Classroom. Mrs. Sayuri has a Child Development Associates Certificate and an Associates Degree in Early Education. Mrs. Sayuri also has her ECE Credential Level 4 and an Infant Toddler Credential Level 4. Mrs. Sayuri has been at The Goddard School since 2018.

Mrs. Tracy is a Teacher in our Rascally Raccoons Classroom. Mrs. Tracy has an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, a Child Development Associate Certificate, Gateways ECE Credential Level 3 and Director Level 1 Credential. Mrs. Tracy has been at The Goddard School since 2015.

Mrs. Brenda is a Teacher in our Mighty Elks Classroom. She is working towards an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education and has her Gateways ECE Level 2 Credential. She has been with The Goddard School since 2021.

Ms. Kenia is an Assistant Teacher in our River Otters Before and After School Classroom, as well as support in various other classrooms in the building. Ms. Kenia is currently attending the College of Lake County. She also has her Gateways ECE Credential Level 1. Ms. Kenia has been with the Goddard School since 2024.

Ms. Ana is a Teacher in many of our Goddard School classrooms. She is working towards an Associates Degree in Early Childhood and she has her Gateways ECE Credential Level 2. Ms. Ana has been with The Goddard School since 2025.

Ms. Kayleigh is an Assistant Teacher in our Graceful Swans Jumping Jack Rabbits Classrooms. She is currently working on her Child Development Associate Certificate and has been with The Goddard School since 2025.

Ms. Lauren is an Assistant Teacher in our Rascally Racoons Classroom. Ms. Lauren has a Bachelors Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, and has her ECE Level 1 Credentials. Ms. Lauren has been with The Goddard School since 2022.

Ms. Amanda is an Assistant Teacher in our Graceful Swans Classroom, she has her Gateways ECE Level 1 Credential and has been with The Goddard School since 2025.

Ms. Kortnie is a Teacher in our Rascally Raccoons Classroom. She has an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from College of Lake County. She has her Gateways ECE Level 3 Credential. Ms. Kortnie has been at the Goddard School since 2025.
