    Welcome to the Goddard School. I am Paul Dandona the owner of the Goddard School in Bloomingdale Illinois. I am proud to be associated with the wonderful programs Goddard has to offer. As the parent of two children, I recognize the importance of a safe and nurturing learning environment. In fact, our daughters attended a Goddard School and I enjoyed being a Goddard dad so much that I wanted to be a part of offering the same positive experience to other families. I use my leadership skills to successfully manage day to day operations of the school in conjunction to taking the elements of learning at our school to the next level. I want to welcome all of our families to our school.

    Executive Director
    Jennie has a BS in Child Development from Rockford College and a MsEd in Early Childhood from NIU. She joined our school in 2018 and brings with her 17 yrs experience as a Director within Goddard. Jennie also is an adjunct professor at MCC teaching early childhood courses. Jennie believes that children have endless potential and it's our job to help them see and achieve it! She welcomes your family to the school and can't wait to meet you.

    Infant Teacher
    Ms Michelle joined our team in 2021 as the infant teacher. She has a BS in ECE from Roosevelt and has been in the field for over 15 yrs as a teacher and director. In her free time, she enjoys scrapbooking and reading. Her favorite book is "Charlotte's Web" by E.B. White.

    First Steps
    Ms Amanda joined us in 2022 working with the 11-17 months. She holds a BA in ECE from Concordia and has been in the field for almost 20 yrs as a teacher and a director. In her free time, she enjoys reading, puzzles, yoga and painting with her daughter. She can't wait to meet your family!

    Teacher
    Ms Ellie joined in 2023 as a Co-Teacher in Bridge, she holds a BA in ECE. She has worked in ece for the past few years with infants thru preschool. She enjoys finding a child's interest and then teaches them what they are excited about. In her free time, she enjoys spending time at the park & pool with her family!

    Toddler II
    Miss Teresa is a Lead Teacher in the Toddler II Room. She has a CDA and has been in the field for over 5 yrs. In her spare time she is a youth leader and enjoys time with her family and friends. She is excited to learn and laugh with your child!

    Bridge
    Paulina began her teaching experience in the Early Childhood field in 1995. She has a Child Development Associate (CDA) degree as well as a degree in Early Childhood Education from Harper College. Paulina began at the Goddard School in August 2008 and has worked at various school with many age groups. She loves working with young children and being a part of their overall development and is committed to providing excellent care for young children. "I am grateful and proud to be part of the Goddard School", adds Paulina.

    Pre-Kindergarten Teacher
    Cheryl grew up in Wisconsin and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Religion from Luther College in Iowa. She has worked in the education field since 1982, as a substitute teacher, nanny, early childhood teacher, program director, and center director. Cheryl began working at the Goddard School of Bloomingdale in August 2014 after transferring from the N. Aurora location. She has a passion for children of all ages, but especially loves working with preschoolers because they have such curiosity and joy about learning new things! Cheryl states, “I want to make a positive difference in the lives of the children I teach. I want them to be prepared for school, but also to be good citizens of their little corner of the world.” In addition to teaching, Cheryl is an active volunteer at The Morton Arboretum.

    Miss Jessica

    Assistant Teacher
    Miss Jessica is an Assistant Teacher in our PreK classroom and joined us in 2021. She is currently enrolled at NIU working on her BS in Educ as well as getting her CDA. She has been working with kids for the past few years in classrooms and afterschool programs. When she is not at work, she loves to play sports and listen to music. Her favorite book is "Miss Peregrine" series by Ransom Riggs.

    Pre-Kindergarten II
    Sandy teaches in our Pre-K II classroom. She graduated from North Central College in Naperville with a Bachelor degree in Psychology. Sandy also has an Associate degree from the College of DuPage. Sandy has been teaching since 2004 and has been with The Goddard School since April 2008. Sandy adds, “I have always loved children and look forward to having fun with them and helping them learn and grow.” Many of her former students come back to visit her at Goddard.
  • Ms Donna

    Ms Donna

    School-Age Teacher
    Donna has been working in the Special Education field as a Para-Professional in School District U-46 for over 10 years. She has worked with literacy and math testing. She has her Associate of Science with concentration in Early Childhood. Donna has also been an Area Manager for a Pre-School Music Program based out of Michigan. She started working with children over 25 years ago and started at our Goddard School in April 2014. “I have always believed in having a hands on approach to education, no matter what age or ability. The children have always amazed me and they have a genuine love of learning.
