Our Goddard School Teachers

Kelly Huddleson has been molding young minds in the Early Childhood Education field for 23 years. As the onsite managing partner, she is responsible for the day-to-day operations and making sure that our families receive the best childcare experience possible. Kelly says, "I am honored to bring such a premium childcare program to the families of Viera and the surrounding communities, and I can't wait to share my passion for early childcare education with all of our families and staff." Kelly is married to her loving husband Chad, and together they have three young adult sons. In their spare time, they love to spend time out on the water or in the Florida Keys.

As our Director of Operations, Ms. Emily's primary responsibilities are concentrated in licensing compliance and quality assurance. Emily owns the family journey from enrollment through orientation, and beyond. She brings an enthusiasm to maintaining each family's confidence in our extraordinary environments while placing your child's best interest at the forefront of it all. Emily has a love for problem-solving paired with an lively personality which compliment her commitment to operational excellence. Emily is married to her loving husband, Shawn, and together they are "Mama" and "Dada" to two littles - Lorelei and Greyson - who are full of wonder for the world around them!

As our Director of Education, Ms. Melissa's primary responsibilities are concentrated in professional development and curriculum programming. Melissa owns the faculty journey from recruitment through onboarding, and beyond. She brings a drive to empower each teacher using hands-on coaching that supports their everyday needs to ensure we deliver on our promise of extraordinary experiences that nurture your child's curiosity. Melissa has a love for learning paired with a relatable, easy-going personality which compliment her commitment to educational excellence. Melissa has been married to her husband Rob for over 30 years and together they have 4 wonderful children who live here in Florida and North Carolina.

As our Assistant Director of Operations, Ms. Christina works closely with families to support their experience with us. Christina approaches everything she does with a strong attention to detail and transmittable calmness. She strives to make every child feel welcomed and loved from the start! She loves that her role allows for her to contribute to our guarantee of a healthy and safe environment. Christina recently moved to the sunshine state with her husband and is enjoying getting to explore its beauty. She loves the spending time at the beach and won’t miss the snow!

As our Assistant Director of Education, Lori works closely with the faculty to support the learning happening in our classrooms every day. Lori approaches everything she does with optimism and a contagious smile. She leads by example with her go-getter spirit, and intentionally connects with every little one that walks through our doors. Lori loves that her role allows her to positively influence their learning and growth through every stage in their time here with us. Lori is married to her husband, Jason, and together they have three teenage sons. As a family, they love exploring outdoors and spending time on their boat fishing.

Ms. Carolann has worked in the field of early childhood education nearly 5 years! She wishes to foster a love for learning through creating an inclusive environment through positive relationship building. As a mom herself, Ms. Carolann has a patience that is unmatched – which is a gift in working with such a high-energy, curious age. Ms. Carolann recognizes the importance of connecting with a child and engaging their interests in learning.

Ms. Lisa is our Kitchen Manager and comes to us with years of experience in the food service industry, most recently owning a food truck. She loves that her role allows for her to see every child every day! As a grandparent herself, getting to interact with them on a daily basis, fill their bellies, and fuel their minds brings her so much joy! Having worked for herself for many years, Ms. Lisa enjoys being a part of “something bigger” and is a team player through and through always supporting the teachers as needed!

Janele began her early childhood education career in 2018 and has experience working with children of all ages. She has a passion for infant care and loves creating a nurturing, loving environment where little ones feel safe as they learn and grow. Her favorite part of teaching is celebrating those special “aha!” moments when infants learn new skills and proudly sharing in their accomplishments.

Ms. Ryan has been dedicated to early childhood education for many years and has felt called to work with young children since she was little herself. She chose The Goddard School for its warm, welcoming atmosphere and the opportunity to learn its unique curriculum. Teaching children small milestones brings her tremendous joy, and she brings that joy into each day, nurturing growth, confidence, and curiosity in every child she meets.

Ms. Cate has worked in the field of early childhood education for a decade! Ms. Cate aims to create a nurturing space that encourages children to explore. She loves bringing learning to life with hands-on sensory activities. As a mom herself, she recognizes firsthand the importance of establishing communicative home-school connections in fostering development and instilling a love of learning!

Ms. Lynexis has worked in the field of early childhood education for several years, finding a love for working with toddlers. She believes that learning happens at every age and no matter how little, fostering opportunities for independence allows for growth to happen. She wants everyone to feel welcomed and loved because that security is the basis for growth! As a mom herself, she knows how important that security is for every parent and child alike!

Ms. Georgieann (Georgie!) has been working in the field of early childhood education for several years. She finds it so rewarding! She loves supporting children through figuring out the world around them and getting to engage with their silly personalities each day! Its really at this stage you begin to see their personalities evolve and Ms. Georgie loves being a part of the important development that happens as they curiously explore and become independent!

Ms. Lily brings a big heart and a bright smile to our school! With two years of experience at The Goddard School and as a mom of three, she has a special understanding of this stage of development. So much excitement and growth happen in these early years, and Ms. Lily creates a nurturing, engaging classroom where children feel supported, loved, and encouraged to build confidence!

Ms. Serenity has been in the field of early childhood education for a few years now! She loves the connections she is able to create with the children, as she believes connecting with them personally helps to create the security children need before they open themselves up to learning! Ms. Serenity brings a creative flair to her lessons, and loves that her role allows her creativity to shine!

Ms. Maritza has worked in the field of early childhood education for some time! Ms. Maritza loves to create activities that allow for movement! As native of Columbia, Ms. Maritza finds joy in introducing the children to the Spanish language. Ms. Maritza is a mom herself and believes it is important to introduce children to a variety of enrichment experiences at an early age so they can find exactly what it is that interests them.

Ms. Jasmine has worked in the field of early childhood education for several years. Ms. Jasmine’s caring nature shines through every exchange. She finds joy in fostering a learning community full of meaningful interactions. It’s rewarding to see their personalities develop as they become confident and independent learners, develop lasting friendships, and explore through play.

Ms. Sally has worked in the field of early childhood education for more than three decades! She finds the most joy in developing genuine connections with the children in her care. Despite all the experience she has, Ms. Sally continuously seeks opportunities to grow. This life-long love of learning is something she wishes to instill in every child.

Ms. Katelyn has four years of experience working with young children and loves being part of their early growth and discoveries. She enjoys helping children build new skills, gain confidence, and explore the world around them. Most of all, she loves creating a safe, loving space where children feel supported, connected, and excited to learn!

Ms. Vanesa has worked in the field of early childhood education for over 20 years! She loves seeing a child’s reaction when they finally learn something and put that learning to use themselves. Knowing that she was a part of that learning moment is so fulfilling to her! As a mom of a Goddard Pre-K student herself, Ms. Vanesa understands the importance of fostering an excitement for learning!

Ms. Patience has a genuine love for working with children and finds the greatest joy in those unforgettable “ah-ha” moments when a child’s eyes light up with pride and excitement after mastering a new concept or skill. These small but powerful breakthroughs are what fuel her passion for teaching. With a heart for teaching and a gift for connecting with young learners, she is committed to helping each child grow with confidence, curiosity, and joy.

Ms. Katie has worked in the field of early childhood education for a few years now! She loves that there is not one single day that’s the same when working with children. Every day is a new adventure! Ms. Katie finds joy in introducing creative projects and seeing how the children express themselves through creating their own forms of art!

Ms. Kaylee is entering her sixth year of teaching Pre-K and is excited to be part of each child's early learning, especially in this fundamental year! She chose The Goddard School because of its safe, nurturing environment where children are encouraged to reach their fullest potential. She loves creating a classroom where learning is engaging, hands-on, and fun, while continuing to grow as an educator herself.

Ms. Michelle Hallman has worked in the field of education for over 30 years as a certified teacher, most recently with Brevard Public Schools. She tried to retire, but missed the joy that comes from the day-to-day in the classroom. Ms. Hallman loves to connect with the children on a personal level, and believes these connections fosters their growth. Ms. Hallman loves reading and incorporating story-telling!

Ms. Matina has worked with children in various capacities for over three decades! She has always been amazed at the enthusiasm children have when experiencing everyday life -simple things we overlook as we get older. She believes their outlook is a fantastic reminder for us to slow down and experience life instead of rushing through it. Ms. Matina appreciates the curriculum support and opportunities provided for students and staff at Goddard.

Ms. Chyenne has worked in the field of early childhood education for some time! She supports throughout the School as a Resource Teacher, a She loves that her role allows her to work with children as they transition from infancy, through toddlerhood, and into their preschool years, and seeing their personalities grow every step of the way.
