Our Goddard School Teachers

I’m a working mother of 2 young children with a passion for Early Childhood Education. Since they were infants, I've seen the difference that high-quality, early childcare has made in preparing my children for school and life. I am thrilled to own and operate The Goddard School and provide Westport and surrounding communities with a high quality, joyful childcare experience! We are also a proud 2023, 2024 and 2025 "Circle of Excellence" school winner. This is an annual honor that recognizes schools that meet the highest standards set by Goddard Systems in the areas of health & safety, curriculum, overall quality and more. Eligibility is limited to franchisees that achieved the highest level of excellence, scoring in the top ten percent of each category.

I was proud to be part of opening our school in 2019, bringing with me over 20 years of experience in Early Childhood Education and a background working with children of all age groups, from infants to school-aged learners. In 2023, I was honored to be named “Director of the Year” among more than 630 Goddard schools nationwide, a recognition that reflects my dedication to supporting children, families, and educators. I hold a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education and Psychology, along with credentials in Early Childhood Education and the State of Connecticut Director’s Credential. My goal is to provide high-quality care and create an enriched learning environment where each child’s uniqueness is valued and celebrated. Every day, I strive to ensure that every child feels supported, inspired, and confident as they learn, grow, and explore the world around them.

It is such a pleasure to be around children, positively impact their lives, and watch them grow and achieve so many milestones along the way. I love creating an environment where children can learn through play, have fun, explore, and be themselves! With a Master’s Degree in education and credentials in Early Childhood, I’m committed to supporting each child’s development with knowledge, intention, and heart.

I have always had a passion for teaching. Early childhood is such an amazing time, and being able to be a part of the growth and development of children is truly a blessing. I hold a Master’s in Early Childhood, which has deepened my understanding and approach to nurturing young learners. I love having the opportunity to share my knowledge and experience with the staff, children, and families here at The Goddard School.

As an early childhood educator with over 20 years of experience, I’m truly thrilled to be part of the Goddard family because I wholeheartedly share their belief that young children learn best through play. I feel so fortunate to be in a profession where I can guide, inspire, and encourage children during such a magical and important stage of their development. Later, in 2024, I was honored to be awarded “Teacher of the Year” among more than 630 Goddard schools nationwide, a recognition that deeply touched me and strengthened my passion for nurturing young learners.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Art and a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential, and I am dedicated to supporting children’s educational and personal growth. I am passionate about designing engaging, interactive learning environments that nurture curiosity, creativity, and a love of discovery. My goal is to cultivate life-long learning habits in every student through meaningful, play-based, and hands-on experiences that promote exploration, critical thinking, and confidence.  

I love teaching because children are naturally eager to learn and explore new ideas. Their curiosity, humor, and unique outlook on life continually brighten my day and inspire me as an educator. I hold a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and have been with The Goddard School for four years, where I became the Preschool Team Lead in 2023. I am dedicated to supporting children’s development by creating engaging, play-based learning experiences that nurture creativity, confidence, and a life-long love of learning.

I’m very happy to be part of The Goddard Team! I have 15 years of experience teaching young children and hold credentials in Early Childhood Education. As the mother of two grown children, I have always cherished watching them learn and discover new things. I look forward to sharing that same joy of growth and development with your children during this fun and exciting time in their lives. I’m excited to get to know each child and to help them thrive and succeed in their early education journey.

I appreciate how Goddard School’s play-based curriculum allows children the freedom to have fun while discovering and exploring the world and their interests. I love teaching because I have the opportunity to watch children grow and become independent learners. I enjoy seeing them take what they’ve learned and apply it to their world, and I love that they often teach me something new as well! I hold a Master’s Degree in Education and a Teacher Certification, which allow me to provide engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences that inspire curiosity and confidence in every child.

As an early childhood educator with over 15 years of experience, I look forward to preparing your children to “Get Set” for preschool. Playing with a purpose is what I enjoy most about teaching, and The Goddard School’s play-based curriculum supports that philosophy. My passion is encouraging children to explore and discover the world!

Education has been the most important factor in my life. With over five years of teaching experience and a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education, I am excited to be a part of The Goddard School team! I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Education to further enhance my knowledge and skills. I love seeing children play and explore in a safe, nurturing environment that fosters their growth and development.

Helping children reach their developmental milestones and celebrating their achievements alongside them is something I value deeply.

Watching young children learn, grow and thrive through play and knowing that I have played an important role in that is one of most rewarding aspects of my career in early childhood education! I chose to teach because I know the importance of having a supportive and healthy foundation for learning. My favorite part is that I can create this by building meaningful relationships with the children in which I get to share in their joy when they conquer new milestones. Every day is an opportunity to be creative and for both students and teachers to learn from each other and grow. I’m excited to be a part of their learning journey!

Working in Early Childhood Education brings me great joy and fulfillment. I have a Degree in Early Childhood Education and over five years of teaching experience, and I love helping children grow, learn, and reach important milestones. I enjoy working with the children here at the Goddard school of Westport! As a teacher, I focus on needs of each child and want to make every day a positive learning experience. I am always amazed how well children respond and grow when provided with a caring, safe and happy environment.

A seed needs water, sun, love, and care to grow. With guidance along the way the seed transforms into a beautiful flower ready to keep on blooming. I am happy to be part of your child’s personal growth journey while providing a safe and caring environment. Where their physical, social, and cognitive skills will be developing through exploration, asking questions, creativity, imagination and most important all through play !

I have always had a passion for youth education. I strongly believe that keeping a consistent schedule and routine is the foundation where trust is bonded with your child. I specialize in art and learning through discovery. I teach using sensory play, music and story time. Alongside my childcare experiences I also have a graphic design background in which I use to implement/support most of the projects that follow along with the Wonder of Learning curriculum.

I am so excited to be part of the Goddard School of Westport team. I love seeing children develop into well rounded individuals through the knowledge they obtain. As an enrichment teacher I am looking forward to seeing children become excited to learn more about chess and how to develop strategy skills through the games they play.

My passion for early childhood education stems from a deep belief in the power of hands-on learning and exploration. As an enrichment and social studies teacher, I treasure the opportunity to introduce children to the richness of diverse cultures, histories, and communities. Watching them explore, laugh, and engage in activities that spark creativity and critical thinking fills me with joy. My goal is to guide them in becoming compassionate global citizens who care deeply for the people, animals, and planet we share, fostering a sense of connection and responsibility that will last a lifetime. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Language and Culture, which have equipped me with a strong understanding of human societies, communication, and cultural diversity—knowledge I bring into my teaching every day.

I truly love being a toddler teacher at The Goddard School, where every day brings new opportunities to inspire and guide little learners. I hold my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, which allows me to bring a deeper understanding of child development to create a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment. I feel honored to be a trusted presence in each child’s life and to witness their curiosity, growth, and joy as they explore the world around them.

I love teaching because it allows me to make a meaningful difference in children’s lives by helping them grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Watching children grow and succeed, knowing I’ve played a part in their journey, is very fulfilling for me. Teaching allows me to combine my passion for learning with my desire to make a positive impact every day.

I have always loved caring for and looking after children. Watching and helping guide infants through the first year of life is my favorite. From trying solids for the first time to taking their first steps, its always a privilege to see them grow!

I am so grateful to be part of the Goddard community. Its fascinating to watch the children develop in their own unique ways as they learn from their experiences with the Wonder of Learning program. It is so rewarding to observe the children grasp new concepts and meet new milestones and I look forward to helping your little ones grow every step of the way.

My journey in early childhood educations has always been filled with joy and purpose. I have always been inspired by my mother who has been a teacher for over 20 years, and her passion for teaching continues to motivate me every day. Being a childcare provider is an incredibly rewarding profession, and I am grateful to be part of the Goddard team. With a BA degree in Education and five years of experience in early childhood care, I find great fulfillment in contributing to a child’s development and watching them grow. Knowing that I can play a meaningful role in their journey motivates me to create a nurturing, enriched environment where every child can thrive.

I hold a Master's Degree in Social Work and have 15 years of experience working with children in various settings. Over the years I have found that I am most passionate about working with young children and teaching. I realized early childhood education is where I am meant to be. I’m fascinated with the development process and feel honored to be a part of it. I believe creating a safe and nurturing environment is essential for children to thrive while they learn and discover the world around them. I believe teaching children social/emotional skills set the framework for lifelong health, happiness, and success.

I am a creative and nurturing art educator with experience in toddler art enrichment. I enjoy helping young children explore their imagination, express their feelings, and build confidence through art. I am passionate about creating joyful, engaging, and safe learning environments where toddlers can develop early skills and a love for creativity.

I love working at The Goddard School of Westport because teaching young children and seeing them pass their milestones brings me so much joy. Seeing the children grow each month as the years go by is amazing. I also believe that having great staff members who work together that nurture and encourage children to grow makes the experience rewarding.

I am extremely happy to join the friendly Goddard family! I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science and have wonderful experience working with children of different ages. It is an honor to be here. I strive to create a safe, engaging, and inspiring environment where every child feels comfortable and confident. My goal is to help them explore, discover new things, and grow joyfully!
