Meet Kim

Meet Kim

Ms. Kim is the proud owner of a NAEYC-accredited Goddard School located in Monroe, CT, providing high-quality early childhood education for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years. With nearly 9 years at her Monroe location, she recently expanded by opening a second center in Shelton, CT. A mother and stepmother to two sets of twins, Kim has always loved working with children. She studied Elementary Education at Florida Atlantic University and previously managed small businesses before finding the perfect fit with The Goddard School. Kim also serves as an elected representative on the Goddard Systems Advisory Council for the Northeast region, helping shape early childhood education within the franchise. She is passionate about providing families with a strong foundation for lifelong learning and takes pride in seeing children thrive in her schools. She truly believes that quality early childhood education sets the stage for future success.

The entire staff is "grade A", not just in friendly attitude but also in their proactive interactions with the children. I have great faith (justified by experience thus far) that they will approach my child in ways that are specific to and effective for her - and that if there is anything notable or even concerning to spot, they will spot it and share it. Combined with the particulars of the general Goddard program, this is all any parent could hope (not just ask) for!

Goddard school of Monroe was on our minds for a couple years, we finally switched our youngest in October 2023, and it’s been the absolutely best decision for not only our daughter but family. The facility is beautifully designed and clean. The faculty and staff all around has been to welcoming and friendly and my daughter has learned SOOOO much in the time she has been there and I’m forever grateful that she we were able to make this transition for her and she is just as happy as we are.
