    Hello Parents and Parents to Be! I am thrilled to say I am the On-site Owner at the Goddard School of Fairfield. I am very excited to be opening the school in the community I have called home for over 19 years. My husband and I are the proud parents of three boys, so I recognize the importance of providing a consistent and strong curriculum in a safe and nurturing environment. With an undergraduate degree in Sociology and a Master’s in Teaching from Seattle University I have had the opportunity to teach in both Elementary and Preschool education. I have always dreamed of opening my own childcare facility so that I could be instrumental in nurturing and shaping the lives of children.

I attended Norwalk Community College for Early Childhood Education and Charter Oak State College for Child Studies. I also hold my Head Teacher certification and director credentials.     Hi, My name is Megan and I am honored to be part of The Goddard Family. I have been working in Early Childhood Education for over 15 years. I graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. I later went on to obtain a Masters Degree in Elementary Education at the University of New Haven. I have a strong passion for helping young children grow and learn. I believe that each child develops at their own individual pace and I am here to support and further their journey. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my beautiful daughter and boyfriend.

    Hello to my new families and friends! My name is Nyeisha and I’m so excited to be teaching at Goddard. I attend Post University where I have obtained my Associates degree in Early Childhood Education and where I continue to further my education to obtain my Bachelors in Child Studies. I currently reside in Bridgeport with my husband and our house full of boys; Jaden, Tristan, Connor, Aries and our fur baby Thor. My boys are my drive and the start of my love of early learning for children. Two of my boys are autistic, I credit most of their successes to their early intervention teachers. Seeing how much they helped my boys educational growth was when I knew helping families to help their children was what I wanted to do in life! I am extremely passionate about watching children grow both physically and intellectually. It is a true honor to be a part of such an amazing team! In my free time I love to spend time with my family, craft, enjoy nature and just about anything music related!

I believe that each child is a unique individual and that all children learn at their own pace. This is my first teaching experience, but i have a 16 year hospitality background and looking to continue my education in ECE. I have a son named Lexus, who is a senior in high school this year. I love spending my free time with family, friends, and of course my dog, Lulu. I am a big kid at heart. I love to dress up for for every national day celebrated and I love to play sports. I'm bilingual in Spanish and I have a passion for arts and crafts. I look forward to meeting you and working with your children.

    I am Ms. Christine and I’m so happy to be a teacher here at Goddard. I have been working in the childcare field for about 15 years and I’m still going strong. I have worked with many different age groups but settled into preschool. While many find this age group challenging, I find it very fun and fulfilling. My teaching philosophy is to create an environment where learning happens through play and active engagement. I’m not just their teacher, I’m also their friend. Around the classroom you can find me singing, dancing, and energetically reading. When I put my teacher hat away, you can find me singing, dancing, and reading. I am a Disney fanatic, obsessed with super heroes, and patiently waiting for my Hogwarts letter. I am finishing up a degree in early childhood education and also starting nursing school. I can’t wait to meet your children so we can actively and enthusiastically investigate the world around us and learn crazy cool new things each and everyday.

    My name is Jody-Kay, and I am thrilled to be a part of the Goddard team. I have been working with children since 2013. I completed my associate degree in Early Childhood Education at Norwalk Community College, and I am currently enrolled in Charter Oak State College to complete my bachelor’s degree. My aim is to help students achieve their goals by creating an inclusive and encouraging learning environment that is full of interaction and positive energy. I aim to bring an open mind, a positive attitude, and high expectations to the classroom each day. My philosophy is that no child should be left behind. Each child is unique and has different learning styles. Furthermore, I am passionate about teaching, and understand the importance of shaping young minds and leading them in the right direction.

    Hi friends! My name is Miss Sunaya or Miss Naya, whichever is easier! I'm currently a student at Housatonic Community College in Bridgeport, Ct where I'm majoring in ECE. I plan to pursue an Education degree at Southern CT University with a focus in Special Education and behavior. I'm excited to be a part of the Goddard family. My favorite part of life is being able to observe my surroundings. Working at Goddard has given me the opportunity to do this with children. I love creating bonds and observing our friends/family grow as individuals and a collective. I believe imagination is one of the most important parts of education and I hope to inspire our friends to exercise their own imagination. Aside from a school setting I enjoy arts and crafts, Disney movies and Harry Potter. Both Disney and Hogwarts have shown me the teacher and person I hope to be. I earned my Early Childhood certification at Housatonic Community College along with my AD in Child Development. I hold my Head Teacher Certification through the State of Connecticut and am currently a member of (NAEYC) & (CTAEYC). I've had the opportunity to work with children of all ages and abilities. I am passionate about working along children and their families, helping them to achieve goals and milestones. Fun fact, I am bilingual, my first language is Spanish as I was born on the island of Puerto Rico. I love spending quality time with my sons and family. I enjoy walking, biking, hiking, and boating.

I attended Bullard Havens where I began taking courses in early childhood education as my trade. After graduating I went off to Southern CT State University. I took some time off but will continue with my degree this fall. I enjoy spending a lot of time outside either taking hikes or going to the beach. When I am not outside I love watching Disney movies.     Hello my name is Maria Gonzalez and I graduated from Kaplan University in 2015 with my Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Development. I have seven years of experience in the childcare setting. Throughout my life I have dedicated a lot of my time to taking care of children from family to friends and coworkers, I must say I enjoy every minute of it. On my free time, I enjoy shopping, watching TV, and spending time with my family and friends. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing that smile and connection when I have helped a child with learning something new.     Hi! My name is Miss Destinie, and working at the Goddard School has been such a fun and exciting time! While I’ve only been working in childcare for about a year and a half now, I have spent many years caring for children in my family. I love seeing how much growth someone can go through as time progresses; be it in the span of a year or a month. It’s incredibly fulfilling to be a helping hand in bringing more opportunity for a positive change in the world; and setting the foundation of kindness starts in our early lives. I currently have an associate degree in Early Childhood Education, as well as 10 years of teaching experience, and a 200hr yoga teacher certification. I am a lifelong learner though and am always looking for ways to grow and learn. I find great joy in seeing the children in our care thrive, learn, and grow. I am passionate about providing a safe, reliable, and fun filled environment for students to pursue their own passions through student led and play based exploration. I grew up on a ranch in New Mexico and pursued my education and early teaching experience in Colorado before moving to Bridgeport in late 2022. Outside of teaching my great loves are my family, music, animals, outdoor recreation in a wide range of areas, and of course yoga. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Management, and I worked as an IT team leader in my home country, Hungary. I loved my job, but when I had my two wonderful boys, I decided to take a break from the corporate world and instead concentrate my energy on raising them. As a mother, I quickly came to understand the profound impact a motivated and kind teacher can have on a child's daily life. This realization ignited a passion within me to transition into a new career path—one focused on working with children. I earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and human development from Boston College, and a master’s degree in educational technology from Fairfield University. After teaching preschool and first grade for a handful of years in Stamford, I left the classroom to stay home with my three boys. Now that they are teenagers, I’m excited to return to a school setting and share my experiences with the little ones at Goddard. I grew up in Fairfield and attended Osborne Hill and Ludlowe middle and high school before leaving for Pennsylvania for college.

I worked in the fields of autism, severe & profoundly disabled, and learning disabilities, I received a Masters Degree in Education and followed with a Certificate of Advanced Study in School Psychology from Fairfield University. I worked as a School Psychologist for several years while raising my family. My two children are my greatest joy and accomplishment! I obtained a Certificate in Advocacy through the Council of Parent Attorneys & Advocates. Currently, I thrive on the assistance I can provide to families of special needs children. I look forward to working with your children here at Goddard and am also open to helping families as they journey beyond the Preschool setting into the public schools.
