    Ms Kim

    On-site Owner
    Kim Sherman is proud to serve families in the Fairfield community as the On-site Owner of The Goddard School of Fairfield. Having called Fairfield home for more than 25 years, Kim is deeply connected to the community and passionate about providing a safe, nurturing, and high-quality early childhood education experience for local families. As a parent of three boys, Kim understands firsthand the importance of a strong, consistent curriculum and a caring preschool environment that supports every child’s growth and development. She holds an undergraduate degree in Sociology and a Master’s in Teaching from Seattle University, and has teaching experience in both elementary and preschool education. Owning The Goddard School of Fairfield fulfills Kim’s long-time dream of opening her own childcare and early learning center, where she can help shape the foundation for lifelong learning and success.

    Director
    Miss Emma proudly serves families in the Fairfield community as the Director at The Goddard School of Fairfield. With over 10 years of experience in early childhood education, she has worked as both a classroom teacher and an ECE program administrator, bringing a well-rounded perspective to her leadership role. She is passionate about early childhood development and believes in intentional, individualized teaching—supporting each child’s unique path of learning and growth. Miss Emma earned her degree in Early Childhood Education from Norwalk Community College and a Child Studies degree from Charter Oak State College. She also holds her Head Teacher Certification and Director Credentials, ensuring the highest standards of quality and care in our preschool and daycare programs. Outside of school, Miss Emma enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, traveling, and reading. She is honored to partner with families in Fairfield to create a nurturing, engaging, and educational

    Assistant Director
    Miss Megan is proud to be part of The Goddard School of Fairfield, serving families in the Fairfield community with over 15 years of experience in early childhood education. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Southern Connecticut State University and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of New Haven. Miss Megan is passionate about early childhood development and loves helping young children grow, learn, and discover the world around them. She believes that every child develops at their own individual pace and is dedicated to supporting each child’s unique learning journey in a nurturing and engaging preschool environment. Outside of school, Miss Megan enjoys spending quality time with her daughter and boyfriend. She is honored to partner with families in Fairfield to help every child build confidence and a lifelong love of learning.

    Miss Minerva is excited to be part of The Goddard School of Fairfield, serving families in the Fairfield community as a Pre-Kindergarten Teacher. She believes every child is unique and learns at their own pace, and she’s dedicated to creating a supportive, engaging classroom where children can grow and thrive. Before beginning her career in early childhood education, Miss Minerva spent 16 years in the hospitality industry, developing strong communication and relationship-building skills that she brings to her teaching. She is continuing her education in ECE and is passionate about creativity, arts and crafts, and hands-on learning. Bilingual in Spanish, Miss Minerva loves celebrating special days with her students and bringing fun into the classroom. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her son Lexus, family, friends, and her dog, Lulu.

    Ms. Christine brings 15 years of early childhood education experience to her Pre-K classroom at The Goddard School of Fairfield. She believes learning happens best through play, active engagement, and joyful connections. A lively teacher who loves singing, dancing, and reading. She’s completing her early childhood degree and is excited to explore, learn, and build meaningful relationships with your children.

    Preschool Teacher
    Miss Sunaya, also known as Miss Naya, is an early childhood education student at Housatonic Community College and plans to continue her studies in Special Education at Southern Connecticut State University. She loves inspiring children through imagination, observation, and meaningful connections. Working at The Goddard School in Fairfield, she brings creativity, joy, and a love of Disney and Harry Potter to the classroom as she gets to know each family.

    Preschool Teacher
    Christine brings 25 years of early childhood experience across several schools—serving as both a teacher and administrator—to her role at The Goddard School of Fairfield. Her passion is being in the classroom and creating fun, safe, and inclusive learning environments for children from infancy through high school. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her husband, two children, and dog Penny. She is an avid runner and training for the NYC Marathon.

    Toddler Teacher
    Ms. Hannah brings 10 years of teaching experience, an associate degree in Early Childhood Education, and a 200-hour yoga certification to The Goddard School of Fairfield. A lifelong learner, she loves supporting children as they grow through play-based, student-led exploration. Originally from a ranch in New Mexico, she taught in Colorado before moving to Bridgeport. Outside the classroom, she enjoys family time, music, animals, the outdoors, and yoga.

    Toddler Teacher
    Yanet is excited to join The Goddard School of Fairfield in her first teaching position. She brings valuable experience from babysitting, volunteering in daycares, and being a mother of three. Originally from Mexico, she is fluent in English and Spanish. She enjoys shopping, Disney movies, and family time. Yanet is committed to creating a nurturing, safe environment where children can explore, learn, and express themselves freely.

    Preschool Teacher
    Sofia brings early childhood education experience to her role at The Goddard School of FAirfield, building on her background as an early intervention and preschool teacher. She is pursuing her Early Childhood Education degree with a focus on child development and learning disabilities. Recently relocated from New York, Sofia is excited to provide a nurturing, development-rich environment for young learners.

    Miss Nina is thrilled to join The Goddard School of Fairfield. Her passion for early childhood education began in high school at Bullard Havens and continued at Charter Oak State College, where she will complete her degree next spring. She loves spending time outdoors hiking or at the beach, watching Disney movies, and being with her large family. She looks forward to building meaningful connections with children and families.

    Greshen brings nearly 20 years of early childhood education experience to The Goddard School of Fairfield. She holds an AD in Child Development, an Early Childhood Certification from Housatonic Community College, and a Connecticut Head Teacher Certification. Bilingual in Spanish and born in Puerto Rico, she is passionate about supporting children of all ages and abilities and partnering with families to help every child thrive.

    Nubia brings experience working with children of multiple age groups since 2015 to The Goddard School of Fairfield. What began as an internship quickly grew into her passion for early childhood education, and she is currently continuing her studies in ECE. Nubia loves the mutual learning that happens with young children and looks forward to building meaningful relationships with every family as their children grow and thrive.

    Miss Kayla brings five years of early childhood education experience to The Goddard School of Fairfield and has been working with children since she was 14. She studied Early Childhood Development and Behavioral Sciences at HCC and is continuing her education in the early education field. Kayla enjoys thrift and antique shopping, movies, art, and sharing laughs with children— including her own daughter, who also attends the school.

A mother of five, she is passionate about supporting young children as they learn and grow.     Vanessa brings over seven years of early childhood education experience to The Goddard School of Fairfield, including more than four years as a nanny. A Stratford, CT native, she enjoys baking, cooking, and spending time with her dog and family. Vanessa is passionate about supporting children as they learn and grow and is excited to expand her knowledge and experience in early childhood education at Goddard.

    With a strong background in early childhood education, Ms. Maureen brings years of experience working with infants, toddlers, and multiple families as a nanny to The Goddard School of Fairfield. She has also worked in broadcasting, advertising, and as an Executive Assistant. Passionate about nurturing young learners, she enjoys teaching songs, sign language, and reading stories, while watching children grow. She has two grown children and loves community theatre and playing acoustic guitar.

She is currently pursuing a Human Services degree at Post University and is passionate about supporting children as they learn and grow.     Heloisa, a Fairfield Warde graduate, brings her passion for early childhood education to The Goddard School of Fairfield. She began working with children at her family’s Brazilian jiu jitsu gym and enjoys supporting young learners as they grow. Heloisa is currently pursuing a nursing degree and looks forward to building strong relationships with each child while helping them thrive in a nurturing preschool environment.

Born in Poland, she speaks Polish fluently and is finishing her degree in Psychology with a focus on Early Childhood Development. Passionate about helping children learn and grow, Julia strives to create a fun, engaging, and nurturing preschool environment.

    Liazha brings over ten years of early childhood education experience to The Goddard School of Fairfield. She believes every child can achieve anything they set their mind to and loves supporting children as they learn and grow. Liazha is excited to be part of this special time in her children's lives. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her son, writing poems, painting, and watching HGTV.

She is currently pursuing an associate degree in Criminal Justice at Housatonic Community College and began working with children while volunteering at a local summer camp in high school. Abigail enjoys singing, watching movies, and cooking, and is dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

    Natalie brings over 10 years of early childhood education experience to The Goddard School of Fairfield, working with children from infants through early elementary as a childcare provider, nanny, and camp counselor. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Health at the University of Bridgeport, aiming to support children and families in community health. Natalie looks forward to nurturing young learners and building strong connections with families.

    Meg brings experience in early childhood education and behavioral therapy to The Goddard School of Fairfield, including working with children ages 2–6 with Autism Spectrum Disorder, complex trauma, and mood disorders. She holds a BA in Psychology from Wheaton College and is pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Southern CT State University. Meg enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with her cats while supporting children’s growth and learning.

Holly enjoys helping children explore, build confidence, and discover their unique strengths while creating a safe, nurturing environment.
