    Kim Sherman is proud to serve families in the Fairfield community as the On-site Owner of The Goddard School of Fairfield. Having called Fairfield home for more than 25 years, Kim is deeply connected to the community and passionate about providing a safe, nurturing, and high-quality early childhood education experience for local families. As a parent of three boys, Kim understands firsthand the importance of a strong, consistent curriculum and a caring preschool environment that supports every child’s growth and development. She holds an undergraduate degree in Sociology and a Master’s in Teaching from Seattle University, and has teaching experience in both elementary and preschool education. Owning The Goddard School of Fairfield fulfills Kim’s long-time dream of opening her own childcare and early learning center, where she can help shape the foundation for lifelong learning and success.

    Miss Emma proudly serves families in the Fairfield community as the Director at The Goddard School of Fairfield. With over 10 years of experience in early childhood education, she has worked as both a classroom teacher and an ECE program administrator, bringing a well-rounded perspective to her leadership role. She is passionate about early childhood development and believes in intentional, individualized teaching—supporting each child’s unique path of learning and growth. Miss Emma earned her degree in Early Childhood Education from Norwalk Community College and a Child Studies degree from Charter Oak State College. She also holds her Head Teacher Certification and Director Credentials, ensuring the highest standards of quality and care in our preschool and daycare programs. Outside of school, Miss Emma enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, traveling, and reading.     Miss Megan is proud to be part of The Goddard School of Fairfield, serving families in the Fairfield community with over 15 years of experience in early childhood education. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Southern Connecticut State University and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of New Haven. Miss Megan is passionate about early childhood development and loves helping young children grow, learn, and discover the world around them. She believes that every child develops at their own individual pace and is dedicated to supporting each child’s unique learning journey in a nurturing and engaging preschool environment. Outside of school, Miss Megan enjoys spending quality time with her daughter and boyfriend. She is honored to partner with families in Fairfield to help every child build confidence and a lifelong love of learning.

    Miss Minerva is excited to be part of The Goddard School of Fairfield, serving families in the Fairfield community as a Pre-Kindergarten Teacher. She believes every child is unique and learns at their own pace, and she’s dedicated to creating a supportive, engaging classroom where children can grow and thrive. Before beginning her career in early childhood education, Miss Minerva spent 16 years in the hospitality industry, developing strong communication and relationship-building skills that she brings to her teaching. She is continuing her education in ECE and is passionate about creativity, arts and crafts, and hands-on learning. Bilingual in Spanish, Miss Minerva loves celebrating special days with her students and bringing fun into the classroom. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her son Lexus, family, friends, and her dog, Lulu.

She’s completing her early childhood degree and is excited to explore, learn, and build meaningful relationships with your children.

    Miss Sunaya, also known as Miss Naya, is an early childhood education student at Housatonic Community College and plans to continue her studies in Special Education at Southern Connecticut State University. She loves inspiring children through imagination, observation, and meaningful connections. Working at The Goddard School in Fairfield, she brings creativity, joy, and a love of Disney and Harry Potter to the classroom as she gets to know each family.

    Christine brings 25 years of early childhood experience across several schools—serving as both a teacher and administrator—to her role at The Goddard School of Fairfield. Her passion is being in the classroom and creating fun, safe, and inclusive learning environments for children from infancy through high school. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her husband, two children, and dog Penny, and is an avid runner training for the NYC Marathon.

    Ms. Hannah brings 10 years of teaching experience, an associate degree in Early Childhood Education, and a 200-hour yoga certification to The Goddard School of Fairfield. A lifelong learner, she loves supporting children as they grow through play-based, student-led exploration. Originally from a ranch in New Mexico, she taught in Colorado before moving to Bridgeport. Outside the classroom, she enjoys family time, music, animals, the outdoors, and yoga.

    Hello everyone ! My name is Sofia and I am thrilled to be joining the Goddard family! I previously worked as an early intervention teacher, which is where I fell in love with teaching. I am currently pursuing my Early Childhood Education degree, specializing in kids with learning disabilities. I recently moved from New York to Bridgeport with my three year old son Joaquin. In my free time, I love spending time with my son and going on new adventures ! I aspire to provide all of my students with a rich environment where they feel safe to explore, initiate learning and feel free and confident to express themselves!     Hello! My name is Greshenmary and I am so excited to be teaching at The Goddard School. I have nearly 20 years of experience working as an Early Childhood Educator. I earned my Early Childhood certification at Housatonic Community College along with my AD in Child Development. I hold my Head Teacher Certification through the State of Connecticut and am currently a member of (NAEYC) & (CTAEYC). I've had the opportunity to work with children of all ages and abilities. I am passionate about working along children and their families, helping them to achieve goals and milestones. Fun fact, I am bilingual, my first language is Spanish as I was born on the island of Puerto Rico. I love spending quality time with my sons and family. I enjoy walking, biking, hiking, and boating.

I have a background predominately in Early Childhood Education but also in broadcasting, advertising, and as an Executive Assistant. My teaching background includes five years working as a nanny to twin girls and another family for three years with two sets of identical twins. I have worked in several child care centers working with Infants and Toddlers. I am currently learning how to play acoustic guitar and love performing in community theatre. I have two grown children, daughter Lauren and son, Ryan. “I enjoy teaching your child songs, sign language, reading stories, and watching them change and grow every day. I am happy to have the opportunity to love and nurture your child. They really bring a joy to my heart!”
