Kim Sherman is proud to serve families in the Fairfield community as the On-site Owner of The Goddard School of Fairfield. Having called Fairfield home for more than 25 years, Kim is deeply connected to the community and passionate about providing a safe, nurturing, and high-quality early childhood education experience for local families. As a parent of three boys, Kim understands firsthand the importance of a strong, consistent curriculum and a caring preschool environment that supports every child’s growth and development. She holds an undergraduate degree in Sociology and a Master’s in Teaching from Seattle University, and has teaching experience in both elementary and preschool education. Owning The Goddard School of Fairfield fulfills Kim’s long-time dream of opening her own childcare and early learning center, where she can help shape the foundation for lifelong learning and success.

Miss Emma proudly serves families in the Fairfield community as the Director at The Goddard School of Fairfield. With over 10 years of experience in early childhood education, she has worked as both a classroom teacher and an ECE program administrator, bringing a well-rounded perspective to her leadership role. She is passionate about early childhood development and believes in intentional, individualized teaching—supporting each child’s unique path of learning and growth. Miss Emma earned her degree in Early Childhood Education from Norwalk Community College and a Child Studies degree from Charter Oak State College. She also holds her Head Teacher Certification and Director Credentials, ensuring the highest standards of quality and care in our preschool and daycare programs. Outside of school, Miss Emma enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, traveling, and reading. She is honored to partner with families in Fairfield to create a nurturing, engaging, and educational

Miss Megan is proud to be part of The Goddard School of Fairfield, serving families in the Fairfield community with over 15 years of experience in early childhood education. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Southern Connecticut State University and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of New Haven. Miss Megan is passionate about early childhood development and loves helping young children grow, learn, and discover the world around them. She believes that every child develops at their own individual pace and is dedicated to supporting each child’s unique learning journey in a nurturing and engaging preschool environment. Outside of school, Miss Megan enjoys spending quality time with her daughter and boyfriend. She is honored to partner with families in Fairfield to help every child build confidence and a lifelong love of learning.

Miss Sunaya, also known as Miss Naya, is an early childhood education student at Housatonic Community College and plans to continue her studies in Special Education at Southern Connecticut State University. She loves inspiring children through imagination, observation, and meaningful connections. Working at The Goddard School in Fairfield, she brings creativity, joy, and a love of Disney and Harry Potter to the classroom as she gets to know each family.

Ms. Christine brings 20 years of early childhood education experience to her pre-K classroom at The Goddard School of Fairfield. She believes children learn best through play, hands-on experiences, active engagement, and joyful connections. Her teaching style is warm, energetic, and child-centered, with a strong focus on building independence, social-emotional development, and a love of learning. She enjoys creating meaningful learning experiences that encourage children to explore, ask questions, solve problems, and learn through discovery. A lively and passionate teacher who loves singing, dancing, reading, and making learning fun. She is completing her degree in Early Childhood Education. She is excited to explore, learn, and build meaningful relationships with your children while helping them develop the skills and confidence they need for their next big adventure!

Ms. Ariela brings over six years of experience in early childhood education to the Goddard School of Fairfield. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders from SCSU. Ms. Ariela loves children’s natural curiosity and enjoys guiding them as they learn, explore, and grow. She looks forward to nurturing meaningful connections with her students and families.

Christine brings 25 years of early childhood experience across several schools—serving as both a teacher and administrator—to her role at The Goddard School of Fairfield. Her passion is being in the classroom and creating fun, safe, and inclusive learning environments for children from infancy through high school. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her husband, two children, and dog Penny. She is an avid runner and training for the NYC Marathon.

Ms. Giulia brings over 12 years of early childhood education experience to The Goddard School of Fairfield, beginning her teaching career in Brazil. She strongly believes in multicultural education and equality, creating a safe, fun, and stimulating preschool environment where children feel seen and supported. Passionate about art and music, she loves inspiring creativity through painting, movement, and song. Outside the classroom, she enjoys traveling and spending time with loved ones, and is excited to build meaningful connections with Fairfield families.

Tamia brings four years of early childhood education experience to The Goddard School of Fairfield. She is passionate about supporting children’s early development, helping them grow, learn, and explore in a safe, nurturing environment. Originally from New York, Tamia began her studies at the College of Mount Saint Vincent and plans to continue her education. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and creating joyful learning experiences for children.

Loida brings a warm, creative approach to early childhood education and is passionate about helping children build confidence through exploration and imagination. She earned her Associate Degree in Science in Early Childhood Education from Connecticut State Community College and is continuing her studies at Charter Oak State College in Child Studies with a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant certification. As both an educator and mother of three, Loida is excited to support children and build meaningful relationships with families at The Goddard School on Stratfield Road.

Holly brings a background in Health Science with minors in Occupational Therapy and Disability Studies to The Goddard School of Fairfield. She has six years of experience volunteering with occupational therapists and working as a camp counselor supporting children of all abilities, and previously worked at Disney World fostering creativity. Holly enjoys helping children explore, build confidence, and discover their unique strengths while creating a safe, nurturing environment.

Miss Nina is thrilled to join The Goddard School of Fairfield. Her passion for early childhood education began in high school at Bullard Havens and continued at Charter Oak State College, where she will complete her degree next spring. She loves spending time outdoors hiking or at the beach, watching Disney movies, and being with her large family. She looks forward to building meaningful connections with children and families.

Ms. Ali joins The Goddard School of Fairfield with a strong passion for early childhood education and helping young learners grow. A recent Fairfield Warde graduate, she is currently pursuing her degree in education. Ms. Ali is excited to support children in our preschool and toddler programs and looks forward to building warm, positive connections with every family.

Miss Dyasia is a Bridge Teacher with eight years of experience in early childhood education, proudly serving families in Fairfield, CT. She is CPR/First Aid certified and has also taught boxing and self-defense to children, building confidence and coordination. She believes children are bright lights who learn through curiosity and adventure and looks forward to growing strong relationships with her students and families.

Hello! My name is Katarina and I am 17 years old. I recently graduated from Fairfield Warde high school, and now started college at Norwalk Community College to major in Early education. I have been working with kids ever since I was a freshman in high school. My family owns a Jiu-Jitsu gym, so I am a junior instructor for kids from ages 3-7. I look forward to working with all of your kids at the Goddard school!

Mr. Jeremy brings two years of early childhood education experience to his role at The Goddard School of Fairfield, proudly serving families in Fairfield. He is currently pursuing his BA in Educational Studies with a minor in Business Administration and is certified medication administration as well as CPR/first Aid. Passionate about infant and toddler development, Mr. Jeremy creates a safe, nurturing learning environment where children can thrive. He loves Disney & Pixar and looks forward to building strong connections with every child and family.

Greshen brings nearly 20 years of early childhood education experience to The Goddard School of Fairfield. She holds an AD in Child Development, an Early Childhood Certification from Housatonic Community College, and a Connecticut Head Teacher Certification. Bilingual in Spanish and born in Puerto Rico, she is passionate about supporting children of all ages and abilities and partnering with families to help every child thrive.

Angelina brings over 20 years of early childhood education experience to The Goddard School of Fairfield, supporting children of all ages, including those with special needs. She enjoys hiking, swimming, reading, and spending time with her family. Angelina is excited to help create a warm, nurturing learning environment and looks forward to building special relationships with every child and family.

Abigail brings her passion for early childhood education to The Goddard School of Fairfield. She is currently pursuing an associate degree in Criminal Justice at Housatonic Community College and began working with children while volunteering at a local summer camp in high school. Abigail enjoys singing, watching movies, and cooking, and is dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

Miss Kayla brings five years of early childhood education experience to The Goddard School of Fairfield and has been working with children since she was 14. She studied Early Childhood Development and Behavioral Sciences at HCC and is continuing her education in the early education field. Kayla enjoys thrift and antique shopping, movies, art, and sharing laughs with children— including her own daughter, who also attends the school.

Tonishia brings over 10 years of early childhood education experience to The Goddard School of Fairfield, working with children from infancy through preschool. She has a special passion for toddlers and loves watching children reach new milestones. Tonishia enjoys reading, movies, music, and spending time with her family. She is excited to create a nurturing, engaging environment and partner with families in their children’s growth and learning.

Stacey brings over 20 years of early childhood education experience to The Goddard School of Fairfield, working with children from infants through preschool. A mother of five, she is passionate about creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn, explore, and grow. Stacey’s goal is to make a positive impact on every child’s development while building meaningful relationships with families.

Ms. Mikaila joined The Goddard School in February 2026 and brings 4 years of experience working with children through volunteer work and nannying. Her hands-on experience has developed her patience, creativity, and deep understanding of how to support children’s individual needs in a nurturing environment. She holds an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences from GCC and a Bachelor of Arts in English from SCSU. Her educational background has strengthened her communication skills and passion for literacy, both of which she enjoys incorporating into her work with young learners. Ms. Mikaila’s favorite part of working with children is interacting with them and watching them smile while creating a safe, fun, and engaging learning environment. She is passionate about helping children grow, build confidence in their learning, and feel proud of their accomplishments each day. Ms. Mikaila enjoys getting lost in a good book or spending time shopping and exploring her favorite stores.

Liazha brings over ten years of early childhood education experience to The Goddard School of Fairfield. She believes every child can achieve anything they set their mind to and loves supporting children as they learn and grow. Liazha is excited to be part of this special time in her children's lives. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her son, writing poems, painting, and watching HGTV.

Vanessa brings over seven years of early childhood education experience to The Goddard School of Fairfield, including more than four years as a nanny. A Stratford, CT native, she enjoys baking, cooking, and spending time with her dog and family. Vanessa is passionate about supporting children as they learn and grow and is excited to expand her knowledge and experience in early childhood education at Goddard.

Yanet is excited to join The Goddard School of Fairfield in her first teaching position. She brings valuable experience from babysitting, volunteering in daycares, and being a mother of three. Originally from Mexico, she is fluent in English and Spanish. She enjoys shopping, Disney movies, and family time. Yanet is committed to creating a nurturing, safe environment where children can explore, learn, and express themselves freely.

Angela brings several years of early childhood education experience to The Goddard School of Fairfield. She is currently pursuing a Human Services degree at Post University and is passionate about supporting children as they learn and grow. Angela enjoys spending time with her 6-year-old son, family, and friends, and looks forward to gaining more knowledge and experience while nurturing young learners at Goddard.

Ms. Alicia brings years of experience working with children to The Goddard School of Fairfield, including leading summer camps for ages 6–12. As a teacher in early childhood education, she prioritizes building positive connections so children feel safe to ask questions, take risks, and grow. She fosters a sense of belonging while encouraging confidence and exploration. Outside the classroom, she enjoys creative crafts and is a big fan of Hello Kitty. Ms. Alicia looks forward to connecting with Fairfield families.

Ms. T is a high school student bringing her passion for early childhood education to The Goddard School of Fairfield. She loves creating a fun, safe, and welcoming environment where children can explore, learn, and grow. Ms. T is dedicated to helping children build confidence, discover new things, and develop a lifelong love of learning while supporting their early education journey.

Ms. Barah brings many years of experience to her role in early childhood education, proudly serving families in Fairfield. She holds a B.S. in Psychology with a focus in Developmental Psychology from ECSU. Ms. Barah loves working with children and watching them grow, learn, and reach new milestones. She is happy to be part of The Goddard School of Fairfield community.

Ms. Hailee brings experience in early childhood education to The Goddard School of Fairfield, where she is passionate about creating a safe, nurturing learning environment for preschool and daycare students. She believes every child should feel seen, valued, and supported in their development. Ms. Hailee loves singing and all things Disney, bringing creativity and fun into the classroom. She is excited to grow alongside her students and build strong relationships with Fairfield families.

With a strong background in early childhood education, Ms. Maureen brings years of experience working with infants, toddlers, and multiple families as a nanny to The Goddard School of Fairfield. She has also worked in broadcasting, advertising, and as an Executive Assistant. Passionate about nurturing young learners, she enjoys teaching songs, sign language, and reading stories, while watching children grow. She has two grown children and loves community theatre and playing acoustic guitar.

With over five years of experience in early childhood education, Jamie is excited to join the team at The Goddard School of Fairfield. She is passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children of all ages. With experience in babysitting and childcare, along with CPR/First Aid certification, Jamie is dedicated to supporting children’s growth and building strong relationships with families. Outside the classroom, she enjoys shopping, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Kaitlyn is honored to serve as the Enrollment Specialist at The Goddard School of Fairfield. With experience in higher education, student support, and community leadership, she is passionate about helping students and families feel welcomed, supported, and connected from their very first interaction with a school. A proud Bridgeport resident and graduate of Fairfield schools, Kaitlyn looks forward to building meaningful relationships with Goddard families and strengthening the school community.

Ana brings a passion for early childhood education to her work at The Goddard School of Fairfield, where she enjoys watching children learn and grow as individuals. She believes in providing the support and nurturing children need to feel safe taking risks and comfortable exploring at their own pace. Ana holds an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and is currently working toward her Bachelor’s Degree. She looks forward to building meaningful relationships with children and families.

Darryl brings over 20 years of experience in education to The Goddard School of Fairfield and is currently pursuing his degree in Early Childhood Education. Growing up with 10 siblings, he understands the joy of learning and growing together. He loves children’s laughter, stories, and creativity, and their energy reminds him why he chose education and remains passionate about it.

Miss Tayjohnna is a Preschool Teacher at The Goddard School of Fairfield with a lifelong passion for early childhood education. She has loved working with children since age 15, and as the oldest of seven siblings and a homeschooling mom, she brings patience, creativity, and a nurturing approach to the classroom. A Phi Theta Kappa honor student, she enjoys creating hands-on learning experiences that help children feel safe, confident, and excited to learn. Outside of school, she loves cooking, reading James Patterson novels, watching Marvel movies, and building lasting relationships with Goddard families.

Ms. Victoria brings several years of experience in early childhood education to her role at The Goddard School of Fairfield. She is passionate about creating a nurturing, engaging learning environment for infants, toddlers, and their families, where every child feels safe, supported, and encouraged to explore and grow. Victoria values building meaningful relationships with each family and is excited to be part of every child's early learning journey.

Miss Maddie is currently a senior at Fairfield Warde High School. She completed Child Development I and II, where she discovered her passion for early childhood education and helping children grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Miss Maddie enjoys building meaningful relationships with each child and loves watching their unique personalities shine. She is excited to support Fairfield families and create a nurturing, engaging learning environment.
