Our Goddard School Teachers

Julie has a BA from CU Boulder in Communication Disorders, Speech Science and Elementary Education. She also has a MA in Education of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing from Gallaudet University in Washington, DC. She taught in Adams 12 Five Star School District for 27 years. She is very excited to put her knowledge and experience into providing high quality educational childcare at the Goddard School in Louisville. Rick has a BS in accounting from the University of Colorado, Denver. He worked in corporate accounting for 25 years. He is thrilled to make the transition from the business world to the world of children, families, and education. After raising two children, he is delighted to be surrounded by smiling eager learners. Julie and Rick have a daughter and a son, as well as two grandchildren. They both enjoy gardening (thus the gardening theme in the school), going to the mountains, reading, and traveling.

Kylee attended college at Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she majored in Child Development and Family Relations with a minor in Sociology of Human Services obtaining her degree in 2012. Kylee has over 20 years of experience working with children, she has always known that her heart was in this work. She attributes this passion to growing up in a large family where she got to see members of her family learn and grow. She believes in fostering an environment in which all children are accepted and have something to offer. When Kylee isn’t working, she enjoys backpacking, fly fishing, gardening and running. Kylee lives right down the street with her twin boys Max and Sam, and their dog Tucker. You will likely see Kylee and "the boys" downtown grabbing a slice and ice cream or library book!

Cassie is a graduate of CU Boulder with a Bachelor's in Psychology and minor in Elementary Education. Cassie grew up in Colorado and was born in Hanoi, Vietnam. She lived in Denver until 4th grade before moving to the Broomfield/Boulder area. Cassie has always loved working with children. It is something that she is passionate about and is echoed in her work. She began babysitting when she was a teenager. She worked for SAC as a teen through BVSD, which is a before and after school care program. She also worked as a nanny for two years while she finished her degree at CU. She loves working with children because she feels you can always count on them to give you a good laugh or to make you smile! She finds it very rewarding watching them grow and develop. Cassie enjoys hanging with friends, playing with her two dogs, and decorating cakes that she bakes! She loves taking her dogs Sailor and Bear on long walks, spending time in the Colorado sun and watching a good comedy.

Introducing Ms. Cheyenne, a dynamic educator with a unique background in business who is now pursuing her Early Childhood degree. Her passion for teaching shines through as she transitions into this new field, bringing a fresh perspective and enthusiasm to early education. In her free time, Ms. Cheyenne enjoys making cherished memories with her two daughters. Together, they love visiting the zoo and embracing the great outdoors. Her blend of professional experience and family-oriented fun enriches her approach to teaching, making her a wonderful addition to any educational setting.

Megan grew up in a small California town and made the move to Colorado in March of 2022. She began her degree at CSU Chico and completed her degree in Early Childhood Education at Western Governer's University in May of 2022. Megan fell into a nanny position to help out a family friend and stayed a professional nanny until joining our team in March of 2024. She loves working with infants to see their personality develop and to form strong bonds with them. There is nowhere else she would rather be than surrounded by the children in her classroom.

Jen grew up in Indiana surrounded by the beauty of the great outdoors. With extensive hands-on experience and two children of her own who are growing up fast, Jen brings both professional expertise and a personal understanding of child development to the classroom. Her passion for teaching was sparked back in third grade by an inspiring educator who showed her the magic of reading— something she now loves to share with her students. Since joining our team in July 2025, Jen has brought an abundance of positivity and warmth to our school community and has become lead qualified.

Abi was born in South Africa, and moved to and all around the United States when she was 5 years old. She attened Iowa State and is pursuing the completion of her bachelor's degree here in CO. Abi's favorite thing about working with children is building strong bonds and building the foundation for their education upon that. Abi has been with our Goddard Team since August of 2022.

Cassy grew up here in Colorado with a childhood based around a love for the outdoors. She is a DU graduate and is currently pursuing her master's degree in counseling. Cassy loves to work with children for the pleasure that they find in the simple things. Cassy has been with our Goddard Team since March of 2024.

Sophie was raised with a deep appreciation for nature, right here in Colorado. She attended Jefferson Academy High School where as Vice President of the drama club she found an appreciation for teaching. Sophie enjoys working with children to hear them laugh and to see the grow and thrive. We welcomed Sophie to our Goddard team in March of 2025.

Briana was born in California and moved to Colorado at at young age. She grew up playing a ton of team sports and contributes her power of teamwork to these early experiences. She loves to work with children to see them full of joy and pride as they accomplish their goals. Briana joined our team in July of 2023 and completed her lead qualifications in October of the same year.

Gabbie recently relocated to Colorado from Utah and is thrilled to have found both a new home here. She recently completed her lead teacher qualifications, and jumped right in. Her approach to teaching is rooted in kindness, patience, and respect for each child’s individuality. She strives to nurture a love of learning through play, creativity, and meaningful relationships. We feel incredibly lucky to have had Gabbie join our team in November of 2024. Her warmth, insight, and joyful spirit make her a wonderful presence in our school community.

Cydney is a Colorado native that came to us to persue a passion that she has always know she had, to educate young children. She loves working with children to watch them progress and grow into their independence. She obtained her lead qualifications in March of 2023 and has been with our team since September of 2022.

Cori was born and raised right here in the great state of Colorado! She has been in the field of ECE for nearly a decade and enjoys working with children because of their wild imaginations and love for learning. Getting to help them problem solve is her favorite. She likes to connect with the children in her classroom and her own daughter through silly songs. Cori has been a great addition to our team since joining us in January of 2025.

Originally from California, Ms. Audrey brings over six years of experience working with young children and a deep passion for making a positive difference in their lives. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and is Lead Qualified in the state of Colorado. Currently, she is actively pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in the same field to continue growing as an educator. Ms. Audrey loves building strong bonds with the children in her care and forming meaningful connections with their families. She believes that every child deserves to feel valued, supported, and inspired to learn. We are thrilled to have her as part of our Goddard School team since October 2025!

Amanda received her Early Childhood Education degree in from Front Range Community College in 2017, and is currently pursuing her degree in engineering. Amanda loves her work as it reminds her not to take life too seriously and reminds her to try to look at the world with the same wonder as the children in her classroom. Amanda has been with our team since March of 2022.

Originally from Georgia, Ms. Carissa moved to Colorado in 2022 and brings five years of experience working with young children. Her natural knack for teaching began early—caring for her younger siblings and cousins, where “playing school” quickly became her favorite pastime. Ever since, children and animals have held a special place in her heart. Ms. Carissa holds an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and loves working with children because they bring so much joy, creativity, and wonder to each day. She finds fulfillment in watching their growth and celebrating every developmental milestone along the way. We are so happy to have her as part of our Goddard School family!

Jeff began working with children in his teens, and later earned an undergraduate degree in psychology and an MS in human development from Cornell University. He worked for four years in a preschool at Michigan State University, before embarking on an elementary school career of 23 years in mid-Michigan. He was a leader on school improvement teams and curriculum development initiatives for many years, while working closely with parents and tailoring instruction to the needs of individual children. He also worked in Denver schools after moving to Colorado. Jeff loves children’s openness to learning and interacting. He believes they need teachers’ respect and understanding to develop to their full potential, in social-emotional and artistic domains as well as academically. In his spare time, Jeff enjoys sculpting in stone and metal clay, as well as hiking and traveling to experience nature and cultural destinations. He loves spending time with his daughter and her family, who live locally.

Karen was born in Los Angeles, California. She moved to Brighton, Colorado at 3 years of age and graduated from Brighton High School. Karen previously spent 6 years doing in home babysitting while also raising her two sons. She has always enjoyed watching kids learn new things, and the excitement it brings them. The most exciting part of working with kids for Karen is getting to see their “light bulb” in their head go off when they understand a new concept or skill. Karen has been with our Goddard Team since September of 2021.

Mellissa, known as Faith around school, grew up right here in Colorado. She spent her childhood outside along with her three siblings. They were always catching and rescuing animals. Faith enjoys working with children because of their upbeat disposition and truthful comments that can always make her smile. Faith is freshly lead qualified and has been with our Goddard team since April of 2024.

Kailin has lived all over the US, calling Colorado home for the last year and loving it. She attended St. John's College in both Santa Fe and Annapolis obtaining her Bachelor's degree in Philosophy. Kailin is also pursuing a coding program at Stanford. Kailin loves to work with children for the discovery. So much is new to them and she loves to see it through their eyes. Kailin has been a great addition to our Goddard team joining us in April of 2025.

Milla is new to the area, but has always called the mountains of Colorado home. She obtained her high school diploma in 2021,and is currently pursuing her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Milla loves everything about working with children and connecting with them through play of all kinds, particularly dramatic play. She also finds satisfaction in helping children reach those goals that they have been striving to reach. She has been with our Goddard team since August of 2024.

Anna Maria was born and raised here in Colorado surrounded by her large family. Anna comes to us from the Children's Museum of Denver. This is where she developed her passion for working with children and for creating and implementing engaging cirriculum. Anna enjoys working with children to see their personalities blossom and to see the growth from beginning to end of school year. Anna Maria has been a great addition to our team since joining in January of 2025.

Catie moved to Colorado for a change of pace after completing her degree in Music Education at San Diego State. Catie enjoys working with children to be around their curoius nature and willingness to learn about the world around them. She also loves to connect her passion of music and teaching by pairing the two things through her lessons. Catie obtained her lead qualifications in September of 2023 and joined our team in July of the same year.

Hannah, originally from Sedona, recently moved to Colorado from Boston where she was pursuing her Bachelor's Degree in Ministry which she will complete online this year throughMount Vernon Nazarene University. Hannah and her new husband are excited to experience all things Colorado! Hannah loves working with preschool aged children because they are experiencing so much of life for the first time, and she feels priveleged to be a positive influence during this formative time. Hannah has been with our our Goddard team since November of 2024.

Brooke was born and raised in Colorado, spending her Summer vacations managing a high ropes course. After completing high school Brooke ventured to Haviland, Kansas where she obtained her Associate's degree from Barclay college. Brooke loves working with children because of their large imaginations and their even bigger hearts. Brooke has been with our Goddard team since May of 2024.

Zohreh holds her Bachelor's of Science in Zoology and Master's of Science in Microbiology. Also completing her Lead Teacher qualifications in 2025. Zohreh loves working with children because of the energy they bring to her day and to see their moments of pure joy and hapiness. Having a daughter have her own has fueled Zohreh's passion for working in education. Zohreh has been with our Goddard team since September of 2024.

Emilee’s journey with The Goddard School comes full circle—she attended a Goddard School herself as a child, and now she is thrilled to be back in the same nurturing environment as a teacher. Her early experiences helped her thrive and sparked a lifelong passion for education, which she carried into her studies at Chadron State College, where she focused on Early Childhood Education and Business. Emilee loves working with young children and finds joy in their creativity, curiosity, and smiles. She obtained her Lead Teacher qualifications in Fall of 2025 and continues to grow professionally while making meaningful connections with her students every day. Since joining our team in June 2025, Emilee has brought enthusiasm, dedication, and warmth to the classroom, and we are excited to have her as part of our Goddard family.

Gayatri grew up in a community that values kindness, learning and creativity, which inspired her passion for working with children. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering at in 2017. She enjoys working with children to witness their boundless curiosity, the joy that they bring to learning, and watching them grow and develop new confidence in their skills. Gayatri has been woth our Goddard team since November of 2024.
