  • Ms Melanie

    Ms Melanie

    On-Site Owner Operator
    Ms. Melanie's career in Early Childhood Education spans over 30 years! She has been at The Goddard School located in Fort Collins since before it first opened its doors in 2007. She graduated from Colorado State University with her Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and Family Studies, with an emphasis in Child Development in 2001 and her Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2011. She sits on the board for the Early Childhood Council of Larimer County and is a full-time faculty member at Front Range Community College in the Early Childhood Education program. Ms. Melanie has been married for 23 years and has three adult children that all attended The Goddard School of Fort Collins as young children. She has two dogs that help to keep her "free" time busy, and she enjoys playing golf.

    Terry Ann

    Owner
    Terry Ann and her husband Les purchased The Goddard School in 2008. Terry Ann combines her many years of retail management and in-home child care experience to create the perfect combination for her position as on-site owner. Terry Ann and Les have lived most of their life in the Fort Collins community. Terry Ann retired in 2022 but is still an ownership partner and landlord. In her free time Terry Ann enjoys golf, biking, and spending time with her five grandchildren.

    Director
    Ms. Tobi holds her Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and Family Studies, with an emphasis in Child Development, from Colorado State University, and her Level 6 Colorado Early Childhood Credential (the highest level). Ms. Tobi started at The Goddard School in June 2019 as a classroom teacher and has spent the last year and a half in an administrative role. Ms. Tobi welcomed her first child with her husband in May of 2023, a baby girl named Rilynne. Her daughter is a student at The Goddard School! In her free time, she enjoys going to her family's cabin in Grand Lake.

    Ms Fawn

    Assistant Director
    Ms. Fawn is the Assistant Director at The Goddard School - overseeing staff recruitment, development, and retention - and curriculum and assessment. Ms. Fawn joined The Goddard School in 2011 and has been an integral part of our success over the years. She holds her Large Center Director's Certificate from Front Range Community College. In her free time, she enjoys camping and fishing with her husband.

    Ms Cinthia

    Office Administrator
    Ms. Cinthia first joined the Goddard School in January 2017 and has returned as Office Administrator after a brief time away. During her previous five years with the school, she served as both a resource teacher and lead teacher. Growing up with five siblings fostered her early passion for caretaking and teaching. She is currently completing her Bachelors of Science in Human Development and Family Studies at Colorado State University. In her free time, she enjoys shopping, taking walks, and exploring new activities with her son Giovanni (born August 2024) and her two bonus kids, Marsaline and Bryson.

    Ms. Vickie has taught at The Goddard School since 2007 and all that time has been in our infant classroom. She attended Front Range Community College where she received her Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Vickie is also Infant/Toddler Supervisor Certified. She has lived in Colorado all her life and loves spending time with her husband and daughter.

    Ms. Bethany first joined The Goddard School in 2020 as a resource teacher. She enjoyed her time with our youngest friends in the infant program and is now one of our lead infant teachers. Bethany is working on her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a focus on American Sign Language at Colorado State University. In her free time, she enjoys singing, hanging with friends, watching movies, and playing with her rat, Nimbi.

    Ms. Melissa joined The Goddard School in August 2022. Melissa has her degree in Literature, Language and Culture from Colorado State University. She began volunteering in a kindergarten class during her summer breaks during college. She loved helping kids learn and enjoyed seeing their curiosity of the world around them. Now she enjoys using different languages as part of her classroom lesson plans as a preschool teacher. When not teaching, Melissa loves playing with her two dogs and practicing archery!!

    Hi, I'm Tiffanie and I started here at the Goddard School in June 2024. I am a Fort Collins native and graduated from CSU with degrees in English and History before deciding Early Childhood was a better fit for me. I have worked in Education of all ages for over 15 years now. In my free time, I enjoy animals, gardening, walking, and yoga. Also, I have one special daughter, Finn, who also teaches here at Goddard.

    Hi, my name is Savanna. I am 19 and am in my second year of college at Aims. I am getting a degree in Early Childhood Education. I live at home with my mom, dad, two younger brothers, and my older sister. I have two dogs at home that are like my babies. I love going for walks and being outside enjoying nature. I love to travel and explore new places and enjoy new areas. I love meeting new people and working with children. Watching children light up and be excited is so rewarding. I am so excited to be working here and to learn so many new things!

    Hello, I am Ms. Theone and I started here at Goddard in April 2024! I have around 8 years experience working with children, 4 of which as a teacher in a school or daycare setting. I love spending time with children and getting to support them as they learn and grow! I was born in Colorado and grew up near Denver with my parents and four younger sisters. After High School, I attended CSU and moved to Fort Collins to start my life here! I graduated from CSU with a Bachelors or Science in Human Development and Family Studies, with a double concentration in Early Childhood Professions and Prevention Intervention Sciences. In my free time I love to cook, bake, listen to music, read, hike, and spend time with family and loved ones. I love working with kids and am excited to be a teacher here at the Goddard School!

    Hi, I'm Ms. Parker. I grew up in Wisconsin and graduated with my BFA in Art Education from Colorado State University. I have always love anything to do with arts and crafts. Besides art, in my free time I like to watch movies, bake, and read. My favorite books to read are mystery and fantasy books. My favorite meal to cook is fettuccine alfredo and the last thing that I baked was a cherry pie.

    Hello, I'm Ms. Emma and I started here at Goddard in August 2022. I am currently pursing my Associates in Arts at Front Range Community College and have completed my ECE certificate. I also take care of my special needs brother fulltime in my home. In my free time I enjoy going to concerts, hiking with my golden retriever, writing and traveling.

    Hi, I'm Bryden. I started here at the Goddard School in June of 2024. This is my first job in Early Childhood Education and this will be my first time being a lead teacher! I'm currently going to Front Range Community College for my Associates degree in Early Childhood Education. In my spare time I like to read, do paint by numbers, build puzzles, and hangout with my dogs. I'm also really close with my sisters, so I'll usually be hanging out with them when our schedules allow.

    Hello, my name is Sara Sweeney. I am a California native who moved to Colorado to continue my Bachelors in ECE, as well as a minor in Education. I have been working with children for nearly 5 years and have specialized experience in children with special needs. My hobbies include traditional art and digital game design. I used to do freelance work, which I loved being able to do during the pandemic. I also have a notably strong interest in bioanthropology and paleontology. Which means I can talk the talk and walk the dinosaur walk with all of your most curious kiddos. I am so happy to be here!

    My name is Talyn Kemp. I'm so excited I get to introduce myself to you! I Started here at The Goddard School in August 2024. I have been a nanny/babysitter for about 4 years now for many families! I am so excited to spread the love I have for kids to new kiddos every day here! I love seeing little faces and getting to hear giggles and the goal is to keep the giggles going! Something fun to know about me is I am a Dutch Bros and Dr.Pepper lover!!

    Hi, I'm Stormi. I hold a bachelor's degree in Geography with a minor in Anthropology. While I am just a few classes away from completing my master's in early childhood education at Front Range, I'm currently at level 6 in the PDIS certification process. I began my career in Early Childhood Education as an assistant teacher before advancing to a lead teacher position in the one-year-old classroom. I then served as a director for one year before taking nearly two years off when my son Jonas was born. In 2020, I married my best friend, who has been my greatest support through my career journey. Our favorite family activity is exploring new parks together. I'm an avid reader, particularly enjoying thrillers and romance novels, and I love cross-stitching in my spare time. My personal hobby is crochet, which I taught myself during my time as a stay-at-home mom and I've become quite passionate about it!

    Hello! My name is Aylin (Eileen), and I am originally from California but moved to Colorado a year ago. I have an AA in Psychology but am returning to school to become a radiology technician, I am trilingual, fluent in English, Spanish, and American Sign Language, and I love to immerse myself in those cultures. I am an avid reader, so any chance I get to be outside with a good book is a good day for me.

    Hi! My name is Cara, and I started at Goddard in May 2023, the same month I graduated from Fort Collins High School. Currently I am attending Front Range Community College to earn my Associates in Elementary Education through the Teacher Recruitment Education and Preparation Program! When I'm not at school, I enjoy anything outdoors by myself and with my friends! I also recently retired from softball after playing for 11 Years. I'm excited to work with Goddard while attending College and I look forward to being a teacher one day!

    Hi, my name is Whitney, and I went to a college in a small town in Minnesota! I got my degree in Elementary Education and then moved here to Colorado. In my free time I love to cook, paint, paddle board, and just explore every chance I get. I am a huge Vikings fan, so no, I cannot babysit on game days. I also love camping, collecting rocks, and going to concerts. I love working with children and watching their young minds grow. I am excited to make a difference in these students lives.

    Hi, I'm Taylor and I joined the Goddard School in April 2024! I have been in Early Childhood Education for just over two years now. I just graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with my Bachelor's in Psychology with a minor in Human Services and plan on continuing my education starting in Fall of 2025! In my spare time, I enjoy the outdoors and being on my paddle board. I'm, a huge sports fan as well! I also love to read books and watch movies!

    Ms. Brooke joined The Goddard School in 2015. Ms. Brooke holds a Bachelors Degree in Human Resources and Family Sciences, majoring in Early Child Development with a minor in Child Program Administration. In Ms. Brooke's free time, she enjoys golfing with her father , snow skiing with her boyfriend and off road adventures. She also enjoys spending time with her brother's family and her parents who all reside in Colorado.

    Hello! I'm Jaycee, and I've been a proud member of the Goddard School team since May 2018. One of the highlights of my day is building activities with the children - there's nothing quite like witnessing their creative minds transform simple blocks into extraordinary castles, spaceships, and entire worlds. I hold an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education from Front Range Community College, which has given me a strong foundation for nurturing young learners and supporting their developmental journey. When I'm not in the classroom. you'll find me pursuing my passion for music. I love discovering new artists and playing guitar. I'm also an adventure enthusiast who enjoys rock climbing, roller blading, surfing, and embracing whatever spontaneous escapades come my way. These experiences help me bring energy, creativity, and a sense of wonder to everything I do with the children.

    Hi, I'm Ms. Carly and I was born and raised in New York where I attended Monroe community College before transferring to Nazareth College. I originally pursued English Education before switching to the Early Childhood program. In my free time I enjoy reading and doing anything outdoors. My greatest passion is traveling with my husband and two children!

    Hi, my name is Isabella, and I started at Goddard in July 2023. The same month I moved back home from Colorado Springs. Currently I am just working and spending as much time as possible being outdoors. I've also been working out and traveling a lot. My Favorite things to do are going hiking in the mountains and spending time with my family and friends. Also, in the winter I love skiing with my family.

    Hello! My name is Cristal, I started at the Goddard School in August 2024. I went to Poudre Community Academy for High School and joined a program called "Futures Lab," this program helped me realize my passion for taking care of kids. I graduated High School in May 2024. I am bilingual and my first language is Spanish! I've always had a strong passion for working with kids, kids are our future, and they should be protected and cared for. Even if I wouldn't want to teach anymore, I would still be in a pathway where I can help kids. I am so happy to be part of The Goddard School community, and I hope to be here for a while.

    Hi, my name is Arelys Gamboa, and I started here at the Goddard School in August 2024. I'm a third-year student at Colorado State University. I am majoring in Sociology with a concentration in Criminology as well as a minor in both Political Science and Legal Studies. The goal is to get into law school and become a Civil Rights lawyer! I've always loved working with children and have had a course in human growth-development along with experience taking care of preschool students during extracurricular activities. A fun fact about myself is that because a muscle in my throat isn't strong enough, I physically cannot burp!

    Hello, my name is Ms. Lexi. I am earning my Lead Teacher Certification in May of 2026. I am also taking core classes at Front Range Community College so that I can transfer to University of Northern Colorado to earn my bachelor's degree in education. The next goal in my career is to become a Lead Teacher here at The Goddard School so I can gain more experience and hopefully be able to run my own classroom. During my free time, I enjoy doing yoga and outdoor adventures such as hiking. I also love to sit and read with my cat Gus Gus after a long day.

    Ms. Ashley has always been a part of the Goddard family. She started in our PreK program when the school first opened in 2008. Ashley is currently a student at Grand Canyon University in Arizona and helps us out when she is home for holiday. Ashley is studying Forensic Psychology. In her free time Ashley enjoys golf, dance and spending time with friends and family.
