    Ms Naomi

    Owner
Hi! I am the owner of The Goddard School in Arvada. I have been part of this Goddard Family since 2011. Over the years I held various roles including Classroom Teacher, Curriculum Coordinator, Director, Executive Director, and On-Site Owner. My passion has always been to work with young children. I received my BA in Liberal Studies, focusing on Education and Ethnic Studies, from the University of California, Riverside and my Director’s Certificate from Front Range Community College. I most recently completed a Masters’ Certificate as part of the Buell Early Childhood Leadership Program at CU Denver. I value education and have learned a lot, but what has always stood out is the importance of cultivating community, which is at the heart of what we do and drives our mission. Our mission is to connect children, educators, and parents in a community of trust, so that together we can create an educational environment that allows us to thrive; both now and into the future.
  • Ms Emma

    Executive Director
Hi! I would like to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Emma Phillips and I am thrilled to be a part of the Goddard family. I was born and raised in Illinois but have always had a love for Colorado. I took the plunge and moved to Breckenridge Colorado in 2010. After 7 years in the mountains, I had enough snow and tourists, and relocated to the Arvada/Westminster area in May of 2017. I graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies in 2015. I have also held my Directors License in the state of Colorado since 2014. I have worked in the early childhood field for 8 years and have loved every moment. I have a true passion for young children and the early childhood field as a whole. While I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband Tyler and our two dogs Sofie (Chihuahua) and Samson (Australian Shepherd/Corgi). Tyler and I got married in August 2016 and have been enjoying married life. Tyler and I love everything Colorado has to offer in both the winter and summer months. In the winter months, we spend most our off-time snowboarding. In the summer months, we love to hike, rock climb, bike and wake board. I look forward to all the experiences, moments and connections I make at the Goddard school of Arvada.

  • Ms MariaElena

    Ms MariaElena

    Bridge Teacher
Hi my name is MariaElena. I joined the Goddard family in June after deciding to leave my previous career as a pharmacy technician. During the larger distributions of the COVID 19 vaccine I was able to obtain my immunization certification and help administer several doses at different clinics. I have two daughters JoceLynn and Zariah. I have lived in Arvada most of life and I’m happy my children will grow up in this community as well. In my free time I like to go on walks with my girls, or play the Nintendo Switch. I’ve always loved to be around children since I was younger. My mom would refer to me as “mother hen”. Joining Goddard has been such a wonderful experience from the children all the way up to the staff. It’s so rewarding to see the kids master new skills through our guidance, they’re always so proud once they’ve gotten the hang of it. I can happily say I’ve chosen a career I’m eager to grow in. I cannot wait to help each of your children grow and learn.
