Our Goddard School Teachers

Jake and Ashley are proud to be the on-site owners of The Goddard School in Gilbert and Cave Creek. They are parents of four children that attend The Goddard School. After working in management and sales for over 10 years Jake decided that he wanted to be able to spend more time with his family. He and his wife wanted to operate a business that played an important role in the community along with his children. Jake is very proud and excited to own a business that is centered on his most important priority, Children and Families. He is proud to be a part of The Goddard School and is committed to providing the highest quality preschool experience for the children in both the Gilbert and Cave Creek area. Jake and Ashley look forward to getting to know you and your family, as well as being a part of the community.

Welcome to our school! As the executive-director, I am honored to lead a team dedicated to excellence in early childhood education. With an MBA and a background in strategic leadership, I bring a high level of professional oversight to our daily operations. However, my deepest commitment to this field is personal. Having both a daughter and a granddaughter within the Goddard family, I know firsthand the peace of mind that comes from knowing your child is in a safe, nurturing, and intellectually stimulating environment. I chose to transition my career into school leadership because I believe every child deserves the highest standard of care and a foundation for lifelong learning. My mission is to ensure that our school remains a place where premium education meets a heartfelt, family-centered, inquiry-based approach.

Ms. Kaleigh has been a part of The Goddard family since August of 2019. She has a Bachelors of Science in Family and Human Development from Arizona State University and has been working in Early Childhood since 2013. She loves helping children learn and achieve new milestones and ensure that every child and teacher reaches their full potential while feeling supported and loved. Some of her favorite things to do in the classroom are using sign language to expand vocabularies, especially with our nonverbal littles, and taking activities outside such as water painting and chalk art.

Ms. Alex has been a part of the Goddard family since March of 2020 and is currently the Education Director. She has an Associates in Early Childhood Education and has been working in Early Childhood since 2013. She enjoys teaching because she loves seeing the children explore and expand their creativity! She implements a lot of open-ended questions in the classroom to get the children’s imagination going.

Ms. MJ has been with The Goddard School Gilbert-Warner since 2023. She started her career in Early Childhood in 2022 and is currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education. Ms. MJ loves to provide a safe learning environment for children that allows them to build growth and confidence. She loves to model positive behavior and redirection and allows for those teaching moments to occur while making sure every child feels safe and happy.

Ms. Ella has been with The Goddard School Gilbert-Warner since 2024. She started her career in Early Childhood in 2021. Ms. Ella loves watching the children learn and observe the world around them with so much excitement and joy. It helps her rediscover her own wonder and joy about simple things.

Ms. Izzy has been with The Goddard School Gilbert-Warner since 2026. She started her career in Early Childhood in 2020. Ms. Izzy loves teaching because seeing the children accomplish something and seeing their faces light up helps build that bond and relationship. She loves incorporating dance parties and circle time in her classroom.

Ms. Katie has been with The Goddard School Gilbert-Warner since 2025 and started her career in Early Childhood in 2016. She has an associates in Early Childhood Education and is currently pursuing a bachelors in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Katie loves seeing how kids faces light up when they learn something new and new connections are being formed. She believes that teaching life skills and providing children with a nurturing environment is so important for their little minds and preparing them to take on the world.

Ms. Kayla has been working with The Goddard School Gilbert-Warner since 2024. She started her career in Early Childhood in 2022. Ms. Kayla likes working with children because she loves seeing their developing personalities. Creating a bond with the children and families is one of the many reasons she enjoys teaching.

Ms. Zoe has been with The Goddard School Gilbert-Warner since 2025. She started her career in Early Childhood in 2015. Ms. Zoe loves that each child grows, develops, and is beautiful in their own unique way. She loves to implement art projects to help build the fine motor, creativity, self expression, and confidence.

Ms. Hannah has been with The Goddard School Gilbert-Warner since 2025 and started her career in Early Childhood in 2023. She is currently pursuing an associates in Elementary Education. Ms. Hannah loves helping the kids learn and enjoys watching them grow. She loves incorporating sensory play into her classroom. The kids get so excited to explore with using their hands or other tools and it is a great way for them to build their fine motor skills while learning through play.

Ms. Shay has been with The Goddard School Gilbert-Warner since 2026 and started her career in Early Childhood in 2022. She is currently pursuing a bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Shay loves working with children because of their curiosity and excitement. She believes it is rewarding watching them learn and grow and loves incorporating music and movement into her class as well as sensory play. Her favorite activity for the children is dancing with scarves.

Ms. Sydney has been with The Goddard School Gilbert-Warner since 2024. She started her career in Early Childhood in 2017. Ms. Sydney loves watching and helping the children grow and learn in a safe, positive manner. She enjoys doing music time with the children because she believe it plays a big role in their life. They learn how to use words and expression themselves in the classroom and out in the world.

Ms. Petra has been with The Goddard School Gilbert-Warner since 2025. She started her career in Early Childhood in 1991. Ms. Petra loves watching the children learn and grow. She enjoys partnering with parents and guardians. She loves impending science experiments, circle time, and music and movement.

Ms. Nicci has been a part of the Goddard family since February of 2021. She has been working in Early Childhood since 2015, and currently works as the Lead Teacher in our Pre-K classroom. Ms. Nicci works hard to help prepare her students for kindergarten and implements daily learning in her classroom. She finds working with children and teaching them so rewarding. Her favorite activities in the classroom are science experiments and art. She also loves any activities that give children the chance to express their own individuality.

Mr. Rashee has been with The Goddard School Gilbert-Warner since 2025. He started his career in Early Childhood in 2024. Mr. Rashee believes working with children has been such a rewarding experience because he gets to watch them learn, explore, and grow everyday. His favorite activity to implement in the classroom is the Butterfly Unit. He loves this unit because there is so much to investigate and learn. The kids love to watch the caterpillars grow and turn into butterflies.

Ms. Kayleigh has been with The Goddard School Gilbert-Warner since 2025. She started her career in Early Childhood in 2009. Ms. Kayleigh has an associates degree in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Kayleigh loves working with children because they are always teaching her new ways to look at the world. She loves making sure the children feel included and they are involved in making the classroom feel like a safe space for everyone to learn and grow.

Ms. Debbie has been with The Goddard School Gilbert-Warner since 2025. She started her career in Early Childhood in 2000. Ms. Debbie loves watching the children learn, grow, and their happiness at school. She loves implementing music and movement into her classroom because. It changes the mood of the environment and the excitement of the kids.

Ms. Sophie has been with The Goddard School Gilbert-Warner since 2026. She started her career in Early Childhood Education in 2022. Ms. Sophie loves seeing the growth from each child. She loves seeing the different personalities that come with the different age groups. She loves to incorporate art and music into her classroom so they can show off their creativity.

Ms. Jade has been with The Goddard School Gilbert-Warner since 2026. She started her career in Early Childhood in 2021. Ms. Jade loves working with children because they bring in a new perspective to everything. She loves implementing communication skills within the classroom to encourage language development in the various age groups.
