Being involved with enhancing the lives and education of so many families here at The Goddard School is such an honor and so rewarding. I graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a degree in Communication as well as Elementary Education. I’m a certified Elementary Teacher (K-6) with an Early Childhood Education certificate as well. I’ve spent many years in the classroom teaching as well as in school administration as part of a management team. As the On-Site Owner of The Goddard School located in Wexford PA , I am dedicated to providing your children with a quality, loving, hands on, exciting learning environment! What Our Goddard Village Is Saying
I have received informative information on my child, feel as if she is more then adequately cared for, and have had no issues with the experience .
I feel that Goddard has helped my kid advance beyond the average child in terms of counting math and language skills.
The staff is wonderful. Communication is excellent, I have full confidence that our daughter is well cared for. She is always happy when I drop her off and pick her up. The only negative is that there has been a lot of turnover with staff.
Goddard has been wonderful through the years with both of my children. My daughter is currently enrolled in the Kindergarten program and it’s outstanding!
Teachers, staff and building/environment is welcoming, warm, clean, compassionate and respectful. The curriculum is top notch - age appropriate while still being rigorous.

KEYSTONE STARS
STAR 4
Pennsylvania’s Keystone STARS program is an initiative of the Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL) to improve, support and recognize the continuous quality improvement efforts of early learning programs. The Keystone STARS Performance Standards provide the foundation for the program and are grouped into four levels – Standards, Training, Assistance, Resources and Support. Each level builds on the previous level and utilizes research-based best practices to promote quality early learning environments and positive child outcomes.

National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accredits early childhood programs according to health, safety and education standards. The standards are intended to provide a reliable and accountable accreditation system to encourage the field of early childhood education to strive for a new level of excellence.

PENNSYLVANIA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION
The PA DOE considers the education of its children to be among the highest priorities of state government and has dedicated many resources toward that end. Educators who are PA DOE certified prepare for their responsibilities in the schools of the Commonwealth through the completion of a State Approved Teacher Education program (includes student teaching or field experience), The Pre Service Academic Performance Assessment (PAPA) in Reading, Writing and Mathematics, and completing application materials documenting that all certification requirements have been met.
