Meet Scott Northeast is the Best!

I am the proud owner of the Goddard School of Weatherly. I have a true passion for working with our youngest learners!! Helping each child progress in all areas of their development—academic, social, language, and motor—is a challenge that I am honored to accept daily. I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive, fun environment. I am from St. Louis, received a Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of Dayton, and my Masters in Education from Missouri Baptist University. I am certified to teach Early Childhood, Early Childhood Special Education, and Elementary Education.

Grow NJ Kids is a state-sponsored initiative to raise the quality of child care and early learning throughout New Jersey. Grow NJ Kids gives child care and early learning programs resources to assess and improve their programs, while providing parents with information that allows them to evaluate the quality of programs and make the best choices for their child. The goal is to create a system that encourages ongoing improvement.

KEYSTONE STARS

4 Stars

Pennsylvania’s Keystone STARS program is an initiative of the Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL) to improve, support and recognize the continuous quality improvement efforts of early learning programs. The Keystone STARS Performance Standards provide the foundation for the program and are grouped into four levels – Standards, Training, Assistance, Resources and Support. Each level builds on the previous level and utilizes research-based best practices to promote quality early learning environments and positive child outcomes.

Step Up to Quality (SUTQ) is a three-tier quality rating and improvement system for Ohio's early learning and development programs. SUTQ recognizes and promotes programs that meet and exceed quality program standards.

TEXAS RISING STAR

Texas Rising Star is a quality rating and improvement system for Texas early childhood programs. The Texas Rising Star Provider certification system offers three levels of certification (2-star, 3-star and 4-star) to encourage providers to attain progressively higher certification requirements leading to a 4-star.

NAEYC ACCREDITED

National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accredits early childhood programs according to health, safety and education standards. The standards are intended to provide a reliable and accountable accreditation system to encourage the field of early childhood education to strive for a new level of excellence.
