Goddard’s Circle of Excellence Award recognizes franchisees for elevating the Goddard brand, reputation and business performance through outstanding achievements in education and operational delivery. The Circle of Excellence program represents the very best of the system and reflects Goddard’s mission and values.

The Middle States Commission on Higher Education is the unit of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools that accredits degree-granting colleges and universities in the Middle States region, which includes Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and several locations internationally. The Commission is a voluntary, non-governmental, membership association that defines, maintains and promotes educational excellence across institutions with diverse missions, student populations and resources. It examines each institution as a whole, rather than specific programs within institutions.

The PA DOE considers the education of its children to be among the highest priorities of state government and has dedicated many resources toward that end. Educators who are PA DOE certified prepare for their responsibilities in the schools of the Commonwealth through the completion of a State Approved Teacher Education program (includes student teaching or field experience), The Pre Service Academic Performance Assessment (PAPA) in Reading, Writing and Mathematics, and completing application materials documenting that all certification requirements have been met.

Goddard’s Circle of Excellence Award recognizes franchisees that meet the highest standards set by GSI in the areas of health and safety, curriculum, overall quality, punctual reporting and business operations. Eligibility is limited to franchisees that score in the highest range in all of these categories.

The Congress of the United States recognizes Lori and Bob Santo, owners of The Goddard School located in Peters Township, for the significant contributions they have made to the communities of Upper Saint Clair and Peter’s Township.

The Health & Safety Award honors the top franchisee or franchisees who have gone above and beyond to provide the highest health and safety standards for the children.

Goddard’s Circle of Excellence President’s Club Award recognizes franchisees that meet the highest standards set by GSI in the areas of health and safety, curriculum, overall quality, punctual reporting and business operations. Eligibility is limited to franchisees that achieved the highest level of excellence, scoring in the top ten percent in each category.

This award is presented annually and acknowledges a market that has demonstrated the best collaborative effort in representing The Goddard Schools in their community.
