Meet Brian Owner
I am the On-Site Owner of The Goddard School in Downtown Pittsburgh. I am dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where children can thrive. I believe in the power of play-based learning and am committed to supporting each child’s unique growth and development.
I hold a business degree from Mercyhurst University and have successfully owned and operated sports companies geared toward early childhood athletes. My family means the world to me: my amazing wife, Ashley, and I are blessed with a precious baby girl, Cali, who recently joined her big brother, Tristan, and the rest of our Goddard Family at the school. I also have a beautiful 16-year-old stepdaughter, Laila who is a sophomore in high school.
I am eager to further nurture the inclusive culture at The Goddard School alongside my talented team, and to forge strong relationships with families to provide the best possible experience for every child.

Goddard has done a wonderful job navigating unusual times! They have created a space that makes my child feel safe, supported, and loved. It makes me feel good knowing that he is excited to go to school in the morning and full of enthusiasm when we pick him up. They have helped put our minds at ease knowing that they are doing their best to make sure he is cared for and receiving an amazing education that will serve as a great foundation.
The staff at Goddard is unmatched. It is evident that a ton of effort is put into everything done at the school.
I love the teachers and staff. Also the school is extremely organized and communicates with us well. We always feel involved and in the know. Which is impressive during the current circumstances. It is a safe and healthy environment that our child enjoys learning in. We can’t thank the team enough.
We love everything about the Goddard School, we couldn’t be happier this is where our son goes during the week. The staff are amazing, and very kind. We love the in depth daily reports, and frequent pictures. You all are doing an amazing job and have picked the most wonderful people to work for you!

SECURE EDUCATION CONSULTANTS (SEC)
Secure Education Consultants is a company owned and operated by former US Secret Service Agents designed to help us take our safety and security to the highest level possible. SEC is a group of highly-skilled security and protection experts. The SEC team specializes in analyzing facilities, developing Emergency Preparedness Plans, and preparing faculty and staff to appropriately confront emergencies of all kinds.

PENNSYLVANIA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION
The PA DOE considers the education of its children to be among the highest priorities of state government and has dedicated many resources toward that end. Educators who are PA DOE certified prepare for their responsibilities in the schools of the Commonwealth through the completion of a State Approved Teacher Education program (includes student teaching or field experience), The Pre Service Academic Performance Assessment (PAPA) in Reading, Writing and Mathematics, and completing application materials documenting that all certification requirements have been met.
