Meet John, Jody and Kristen Owner
John and Jody, our original owners, opened The Goddard School in 2008. Jody earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development and has worked with children for over 35 years. Mrs. Jody’s experience has made her aware of the significance of providing a quality preschool setting with caring, professional teachers. John graduated from CSU, Northridge with his degree in Kinesiology. After an extensive background in management/customer service and working with children as a coach, he wanted to operate a business that played an important role in the community. Kristen officially joined The Goddard Family in 2017 to support the ownership team. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation and Hospitality from CSU, Chico. Ms. Kristen has an extensive background with customer service from her work experience at The Ritz-Carlton and she is excited to operate a school that incorporates learning for life and for fun. All Owners are CPR, First Aid certified and completed a background check.

What Our Goddard Village Is Saying
The Goddard School offers a safe, curriculum rich environment from infants to Pre-K. As a grade school teacher myself, I love getting a daily report with the standards they are teaching. The teachers and admin are wonderful. My boys want to go to school everyday.
Goddard is the best preschool around— the teachers create such a warm, yet structured environment. My son loves the imaginative play stations but is also learning letters, shapes, numbers, and is more than ready to start Kindergarten.
We have put 7 kids all the way from infant to kinder. They are ALL totally socialized, way too intelligent and way more ready for life than my wife and I would have been able to do. Best micro kid school easy
We have had such a great experience at The Goddard School of Sparks. The teachers and staff are incredible and truly what makes school special. My girls have loved each classroom and teacher. My eldest started Kindergarten this year and I will forever be thankful and grateful for what The Goddard of Sparks and teachers did for her. She was confident, well prepared and ready for her first day.
The School is excellent. My child loves the school and is often excited to go. I believe the material that is covered is perfect for their mind and experiences. I'm often surprised by what my student says to me when we are going for a walk or having a conversation. I can see his reading and writing skills expanding and he is becoming more confident in them.
The Goddard School provides a safe, clean and FUN learning environment for my son everyday. The teachers are warm and welcoming, the Leadership team is friendly and always available, and the school is always doing something fun for the children! We love The Goddard School, our home away from home.

Secure Education Consultants is a company owned and operated by former US Secret Service Agents designed to help us take our safety and security to the highest level possible. SEC is a group of highly-skilled security and protection experts. The SEC team specializes in analyzing facilities, developing Emergency Preparedness Plans, and preparing faculty and staff to appropriately confront emergencies of all kinds.
