Meet Adam Owner

My name is Adam Heckendorn and I am the proud owner of the Goddard School of Tinton Falls. I am originally from California and moved to NJ in 1990. I have been married since 2000 to my lovely wife Mindi and we have three boys, Gregg, Jason and Jeffrey. I have been in the finance industry since 1983 and I was looking for something that I could be passionate about. When the opportunity came along for me to be part of the Goddard family, I did not hesitate. Once I met all the great families and teachers that make up the Goddard School in Tinton Falls I was so excited that I was going to be part of that team. I consider it a great privilege to be involved in your child’s education and growth and look forward to their success.

Infant

6 w - 12 m

In the Infant program, our teachers provide your baby with all the cuddles and care they need with opportunities to begin exploring the world around them.

Toddlers

12 - 24 m

As your little one rapidly develops physically and cognitively, our Toddler classroom is where their natural curiosity is fostered and their budding skills are nurtured.

Twos

2 - 3 yrs

In the Twos classroom, experienced, caring teachers guide your child through playful exploration, helping navigate big emotions while providing hands-on learning experiences that nurture their innate curiosity.

Bridge

2.5 - 3.5 yrs

As your child continues to gain independence, build self-care skills and learn more about themselves, the Bridge classroom provides the support they need to thrive in a preschool setting.

Preschool

3 - 4 yrs

In our Preschool classroom, your child starts their journey into a cooperative learning environment where they can discover interests and learn in a more structured setting.

Pre-K

4 - 5 yrs

As your child prepares for Kindergarten, our Pre-K classroom offers exciting opportunities to develop important skills, make new friends and explore the world around them.

The teachers are really fantastic with my children and it’s obvious that they actually care for them. It’s very comforting to know that the care they receive is genuine. I also appreciate how flexible they are with our schedule. My husband and I work in jobs that have different hours at times which sometimes has us dropping the kids later than most. I also really like the activities that the kids get to do like fun bus and dance class! My son loves it.
