    Owner
    Lindsey Moore is the On-Site Owner of The Goddard School Grand Rapids (Southwest). Lindsey holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Michigan State University, and she has twenty years of business and non-profit management experience. As the mother of three young sons, Lindsey recognizes the importance of providing a consistent and strong curriculum in a safe and nurturing environment. She is very excited to be part of The Goddard School and is committed to providing the highest quality preschool experience for children in the community. Lindsey looks forward to introducing you to our incredible faculty, and to meeting you and your family!

    Education Director
    Brittany started her career with The Goddard School as the Infant Lead teacher when the school opened in 2015. After two years cultivating the Infant Program, Brittany was promoted to Assistant Director in 2017, and promoted to Education Director in June of 2018. Brittany and her husband Brett have two sons, Boone and Edison, who also attend The Goddard School. They live near downtown Grand Rapids and enjoy participating in community events, like summer concerts at Frederik Meijer Gardens. Their family also enjoys spending time outdoors, especially camping and swimming.

    Senior Program Director
    Mandie was with The Goddard School when we first opened in 2015 with her role being assistant Toddler teacher. She has since been promoted, first to lead teacher in our Get Set and Preschool classrooms, and then to Assistant Director in Spring 2017. Mandie has an Associate’s Degree in Biblical Arts, with an emphasis on Youth Ministries, from Frontier School of the Bible. She has extensive experience with young children, including six years as a nanny and four years at other child care centers. Mandie also researched, developed, implemented, and ran her own licensed daycare center in the state of Wyoming. Mandie has a daughter and a step-son.

    Program Lead
    Miss Justine is the lead teacher in our Infant classroom and was promoted in 2021 to the role of Infant Program Lead after supporting the directors as Administrative Assistant during 2020. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Grand Valley State University. She has been caring for children since high school. She has been a nanny and also worked as an assistant teacher in childcare prior to joining our school. She enjoyed taking American Sign Language courses in college and loves seeing children communicating with it. Miss Justine is a proud mom of three, and she and her husband enjoy taking trips with their family to the beach and up north.

    Assistant Teacher
    Miss Hafiza joined The Goddard School in April 2018. She is an assistant teacher in our Infants classroom. She loves spending time with little children and is often seen singing, reading, and playing with the babies. Since joining The Goddard school, Miss Hafiza has completed professional development focused on infant care, as well as other aspect of child development. Miss Hafiza has raised three of her own children with love and care and has more than 10 years of experience in providing child care for family and friends. Miss Hafiza loves to walk on trails, cook ethnic dishes, entertain and host friends and family at her loving home.

    Assistant Teacher
    Annabel is an assistant teacher in our Infant program. She has a BA in English from Aquinas College and is pursuing her MS in Education from Concordia. She has two children of her own and has almost a year of experience in early childhood education. She and her husband enjoy binge watching The Great British Bake-off after their boys go to bed.

    Miss Sarah is pursuing a degree in social work at The Community College of Allegheny County. She has prior experience working with children in both an educational setting for her coursework as well as through babysitting. Besides having a passion for working with children,Miss Sarah loves to bake in her free time!

    Miss Lindsay is an assistant teacher in our First Steps classroom. She graduated from Grandville High School as well as Douglas J. Aveda Institute of Cosmetology. She has five brothers, one sister, and three sons. She loves reading and playing games with her family.

    Miss Chris is an assistant teacher in our Infant classroom. She studied education at Muskegon Community College and received a degree in HR from Baker College. She has worked as a preschool teacher and special education parapro as well as a registered behavior technician. She recently became a grandma of twins who she nannied for during their first year. Miss Chris got married spring 2022 and visited Disney World for her honeymoon! She is an avid Disney World fan and enjoys taking pictures.

    Program Lead
    Miss Grace is the lead teacher in our Toddler classroom and was promoted in 2021 to the role of Toddler Program Lead. She came to the Goddard School looking for more opportunities to work with and make an impact on young children, after discovering a passion for early childhood through teaching swim lessons. Grace has also worked as a nanny. She is currently working on completing her Child Development Associates with an anticipated graduation of May 2020. In her free time, Grace enjoys reading and hiking. She is married and has one son and two dogs.

    Assistant Teacher
    Miss Bridgette is an assistant teacher in our Young Toddler program. She has experience working in other childcare centers as well as running her own in-home care. She is married and has eight children. She enjoys getting together with her large family and walking along the beach collecting Petoskey stones.

    Assistant Teacher
    Miss Carina is an assistant teacher in our Infant classroom. She has several years experience working in a childcare center on top of nearly 10 years experience working with children as a babysitter and nanny. Carina loves babies most, but enjoys working with children of all ages. She has a love of the arts, specifically film, drama, and music and she loves to sing herself. Carina also loves to attend concerts, paint and draw.

    Mylene joined our team in June 2023. She comes to us with experience as a teacher in other early childhood programs, we well as a lifeguard and swim instructor. In her free time, Mylene enjoys crafting, and spending time with her family and pets.

    Lead Teacher
    Miss Jackie is the lead teacher in our Young Toddler classroom. She has more than five years of experience working with children, including two years working with children with special needs. Jackie comes from a large family with four brothers and two sisters. She enjoys sewing, creating her own costumes, playing video games and baking.

    Miss Kira is an assistant teacher in our Young Toddler classroom and has 18 months of experience working in child care centers. She has nine siblings and loves to read, write, swim and go horseback riding.

    Assistant Teacher
    Miss Kristen started with our school as as assistant teacher in our Get Set Program. After taking on the interim Toddler Lead Teacher position in September 2021, she moved back to Get Set as the lead teacher in September 2022. She has a Child Development Associates Degree and 21 years experience as an in-home daycare provider. Kristen enjoys camping, watching her husband drag race and spending time with her two daughters and miniature schnauzer. She welcomed a grandson in the summer of 2022!

    Miss Jordan joined The Goddard School team in September 2018. She is the lead teacher in our Early Preschool classroom and was promoted in 2022 to the role of Early Preschool Program Lead. She obtained her Bachelor's from Lewis University in Psychology and Sociology. Miss Jordan has been a child care teacher for nearly five years and spent the first three years of her career working for a non-for profit association in an inclusive classroom. In her free time she enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, "hamocking," and soaking up the sun!

    Lead Teacher
    Leslie joined our team in June 2023. She is working toward her Associate's Degree, which she will receive fall 2023. Leslie has experience as a nanny and two years in an early childhood program. She lives with her mom, dad, and two brothers. Leslie spends her evenings volunteering at her church, spending time with family and friends, and doing her own nails.

    Miss Amanda has been a part of our team since 2019 and is an assistant teacher in our Toddler program. She graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2021 with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice & Psychology. Amanda enjoy hanging out with her friends, crocheting, spoiling her cat Princess and visiting her family on the east side of the state.

    Maureen has been a part of team since 2018. She spent 3 years as a nanny and worked in her church nursery for 2 years as well. In her free time, Maureen enjoys watching movies, painting, and traveling!

    Lead Teacher
    Miss Amanda is the Lead Teacher in our Preschool classroom. She has a Bachelor's degree from Florida State University in Family Child Sciences with a minor in Education. She and her husband moved to Michigan in 2021. She worked in a preschool setting in Florida as well as an in-home daycare in Michigan before joining The Goddard School in October 2021. Miss Amanda loves exploring what Michigan has to offer, especially the water sports and activities and visiting Silver Lake to ride quads. She and her husband Ryan purchased their first home in the spring and got married in September 2022!

    Jenna is currently studying Psychology at Grand Valley State University after spending two years studying at Ferris State. She has several years of experience babysitting and a few years of customer service working at Panera Bread. Jenna has two younger brothers. In her limited free time, Jenna likes to travel and spend time with her friends and roommates.

    Ali joined our team in January 2023. She has experience in nannying, childcare centers, and Boys & Girls Club. Ali has her Bachelors in Psychology from Saginaw Valley State University and is working toward her Masters in Social Work at Grand Valley. Ali enjoys cooking, going to the gym and spending time on the beach when it's warm outside.
