Meet Dave Owner

Dave & Jen Collins are proud to bring their passion for education and child development to The Goddard School of Eldersburg. As on-site owners and parents themselves, they are committed to creating a safe, nurturing and fun environment where children can learn, grow and thrive! Mr. Dave’s background includes teaching Elementary School, training with Sylvan Learning Center, supporting Goddard Schools Nationwide and owning the Goddard School of Edgewater. Ms. Jen holds a Master’s in Elementary Education and has spent nearly 20 years teaching fifth grade. Together, they have four sons- one currently attending Goddard- and are dedicated to ensuring every child feels loved, supported and is excited to learn each day. They believe that who a child becomes is as important as what they know!

From infants and toddlers to pre-K, kindergarten and beyond, our classrooms are designed specifically with your little one’s needs in mind.

Infant

6 w - 12 m

In the Infant program, our teachers provide your baby with all the cuddles and care they need with opportunities to begin exploring the world around them.

Toddlers

12 - 24 m

As your little one rapidly develops physically and cognitively, our Toddler classroom is where their natural curiosity is fostered and their budding skills are nurtured.

Twos

2 - 3 yrs

In the Twos classroom, experienced, caring teachers guide your child through playful exploration, helping navigate big emotions while providing hands-on learning experiences that nurture their innate curiosity.

Bridge

2.5 - 3.5 yrs

As your child continues to gain independence, build self-care skills and learn more about themselves, the Bridge classroom provides the support they need to thrive in a preschool setting.

Preschool

3 - 4 yrs

In our Preschool classroom, your child starts their journey into a cooperative learning environment where they can discover interests and learn in a more structured setting.

Pre-K

4 - 5 yrs

As your child prepares for Kindergarten, our Pre-K classroom offers exciting opportunities to develop important skills, make new friends and explore the world around them.

Maryland Accreditation is a voluntary process of program assessment that examines all aspects of quality in educational environments for young children including curriculum, interactions between teachers and children, health and safety, family engagement and professional preparation and development of faculty.

ANTHONY A. MARTINO MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

A graduate of this Goddard School was chosen to receive the Anthony A. Martino Memorial Scholarship. The college scholarship is awarded annually to a graduate of a Goddard School who demonstrates the work ethic and perseverance that exemplified Martino’s commitment to his career, family and community. Graduates are eligible during their senior year of high school and can use the scholarship toward an accredited higher education program.
