At The Goddard School of Bare Hills, we believe that the start of your child's journey matters. It doesn't get any happier than this! We offer a fun, safe and love preschool environment, rich with hands-on learning and high-quality, nurturing and engaged teachers. Our MSDE Accredited preschool serves a variety of communities including Lutherville, Towson, Mount Washington, Ruxton, Pikesville, Roland Park, Hamden, Baltimore, Rodger’s Forge and Stoneleigh. We are owner-operated, so you can count on Hannah being here daily to ensure that top quality education and care.

Meet Hannah On-Site Owner

Hannah Thomas is the on-site owner of the Goddard School of Bare Hills in Maryland. Hannah has lived in Maryland since 1995 and was raised in the Goddard School of Marriottsville, MD. Her passion for the Goddard School has only grown since childhood and she is passionate about providing a quality early childhood education that will make an impact in a child’s life. Hannah received her undergraduate and graduate degree in Environmental Engineering. She is so happy to continue to grow her passion for early childhood education at The Goddard School of Bare Hills. In her spare time Hannah enjoys to travel and play volleyball!

Infant

6 w - 12 m

In the Infant program, our teachers provide your baby with all the cuddles and care they need with opportunities to begin exploring the world around them.

Toddlers

12 - 24 m

As your little one rapidly develops physically and cognitively, our Toddler classroom is where their natural curiosity is fostered and their budding skills are nurtured.

Twos

2 - 3 yrs

In the Twos classroom, experienced, caring teachers guide your child through playful exploration, helping navigate big emotions while providing hands-on learning experiences that nurture their innate curiosity.

Bridge

2.5 - 3.5 yrs

As your child continues to gain independence, build self-care skills and learn more about themselves, the Bridge classroom provides the support they need to thrive in a preschool setting.

Preschool

3 - 4 yrs

In our Preschool classroom, your child starts their journey into a cooperative learning environment where they can discover interests and learn in a more structured setting.

Pre-K

4 - 5 yrs

As your child prepares for Kindergarten, our Pre-K classroom offers exciting opportunities to develop important skills, make new friends and explore the world around them.

A program of Child Care Aware of America, Child Care Aware helps families learn more about the elements of quality child care and how to locate programs in their communities. Child Care Aware also provides child care providers with access to resources for their child care programs.

LEVEL 5

Maryland EXCELS is a voluntary Quality Rating and Improvement System that awards ratings (up to 5 stars) to family providers, center-based and public school child care programs, and school age before and after school programs that meet increasingly higher standards of quality in key areas.

MARYLAND ACCREDITATION

Maryland Accreditation is a voluntary process of program assessment that examines all aspects of quality in educational environments for young children including curriculum, interactions between teachers and children, health and safety, family engagement and professional preparation and development of faculty.

CIRCLE OF EXCELLENCE FOR EDUCATION

The Circle of Excellence Award for Education acknowledges Goddard Schools that provide the highest-quality and most consistent educational programs in every classroom. To be considered for the award, each School must earn one of the top two ratings of its state’s licensing program, become accredited by at least one of the four primary accreditors or achieve P21 (Partnership for 21st Century Learning) Exemplar status. Schools that earn this award represent some of the top education programs in our system.
