Mr. Gary is the On-Site Owner of The Goddard School in Fredericksburg, VA. Gary holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Virginia Commonwealth University, and has 20+ years of business and educational experience. As a father of two boys, whom have already graduated from a Goddard School, Gary recognizes the importance of providing a consistent and strong curriculum in a safe and nurturing environment. He is very excited to be part of The Goddard School and is committed to providing the highest quality preschool experience for children in the community. Ms. Lori is the On-Site Owner of The Goddard School in Fredericksburg, VA alongside her husband, Gary. Lori holds a bachelor's degree from Princeton University and an MBA from Duke University. She has over 20 years of business experience. Lori loves children and understands the Goddard experience as both a parent and an owner. Gary and Lori have two boys in grade school who have graduated from a Goddard School. Lori is excited to be a part of the lives of children and families in the community. She strives to create a loving and nurturing environment for the children and staff.

Mrs. Amana has 15 years experience as a director in licensed childcare facilities and was a teacher for many years prior to that. She has her associates' degree in early childhood education. Mrs. Amana has a passion for early childhood development and working with children. She has 3 kids of her own and two cats. Mrs. Amana also enjoys traveling and reading.

Ms. Lauren has her bachelor's degree in child studies and has worked in childcare since 2000. She loves children and learning new skills. Ms. Lauren is passionate about helping students learn and grow. She is in her position to help and guide children in a positive manner to shape their future. Ms. Lauren is happily married to Brian. They have two children, Presley and Thomas, and two fur babies, Dixie and Gunner. Ms. Lauren loves family time and getting pedicures with her daughter.

Ms. Taylor is the Lead Teacher in our Infant Classroom. She has ten years' experience working in childcare centers and is currently working toward her Child Development Associate (CDA). Ms. Taylor became a teacher because she wants to make a difference in children's lives. She loves when kids get excited about learning something new. In her spare time Ms. Taylor enjoys traveling with her godchildren, scrapbooking her adventures, the beach, reading and coloring.?

Ms. Maribel is the Lead Teacher in our First Steps classroom. She earned her bachelor's degree in education in 2002. Ms. Maribel has been working in the early childcare field since 2003. It's her continued passion to teach and watch her children grow and learn.

Ms. Tiffany is the Lead Teacher in our Pre-Toddler classroom. She holds certificates in early childhood development and education and is currently pursuing her associate’s degree in early childhood development. Ms. Tiffany has been working in the childcare field since 2012. Over these years the children have taught her a lot and she enjoys learning new and fun things from the children every day.

Ms. Miya is the Assistant Teacher in our Pre-Toddler classroom. She graduated from high school in 2020 and fell in love with working in childcare after a summer job at a childcare center. She is the youngest of 4 girls, has moved 15 times in her life and has a pet cat, Ryan. Ms. Miya loves to do make-up and art in her free time.

Ms. Caeley is the Co-Teacher in our Get Set classroom. She has six years' experience working in licensed childcare facilities and is working towards a Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate. Ms. Caeley became a teacher because children bring her joy. She loves watching children grow and seeing them learn new things. The bonds Ms. Caeley creates keep her motivated. Ms. Caeley also loves art and reading.?

Ms. Krista is the Lead Teacher in our Preschool classroom. She received her certificate in early childhood development in 2013 and has several years experience as a lead teacher. Ms. Krista also volunteers to teach Sunday school and sings in the worship band. She is a single mom with one daughter and enjoys reading, sewing, baking, and taking care of her pet chickens.

Ms. Connie has been the lead teacher for our Preschool 2 class since 2016. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Social Science. Ms. Connie is married with two children. She enjoys family, museums, and day trips. Ms. Connie strives to help children explore their environment, learn social and academic skills, and reach their full potential for success in school.

Ms. Shauna is the Lead Teacher in our Pre-K classroom. She has been working in the early childcare field for over 20 years. Ms. Shauna is the mother of three girls. In her spare time she enjoys watching sporting events with friends and family members. Ms. Shauna believes that the preschool age is the perfect age to impact a child’s life in a very positive way, helping them to believe in themselves and guiding them to pursue their dreams and goals.

Ms. Rose is a Lead Teacher in our Pre-K classroom. She has worked with children (infant to school age) over 10 years. Ms. Rose studied early childhood development and has an associates in science and medical administration. Her passion is science and she is excited to help children explore and develop a love for nature and science. Ms. Rose is from Poland and has 3 children of her own.

Ms. Aurora is an Assistant Teacher in our Infant classroom and is currently attending Prince George's Community College to study early childhood education. She became a teacher to have a positive impact on the children. Ms. Aurora feels it is important to understand each child's unique personality as every child has their own way of learning and receiving information. She believes every child needs to feel loved, understood and safe. Ms. Aurora loves to cook and would like to travel to Paris. She has a beautiful daughter, Jazmine.

Ms. Nattie is an Assistant Teacher in our First Steps classroom. She has been working with children for over nine years. Ms. Nattie has a huge love for children and for Disney. She loves to sing in the church choir and teach Sunday school. Her joy is to watch children grow and learn.

Ms. Violet is an Assistant Teacher in our Pre-Toddler classroom. She has an associate's degree in early childhood education, two certificates in early childhood and a health certificate. Ms. Violet loves to see children learn and grow every day. She cultivated this passion volunteering in the children's section of the library. Ms. Violet also loves to read, travel, and spend time with family and friends.

Ms. Angela is the Assistant Teacher in our Two-year-old Classroom. She has more than ten years' experience working in early childhood education. Ms. Angela loves the curiosity of two-year-olds and helping them learn to use words, make choices, and develop their independence. She enjoys watching their personalities shine through. Ms. Angela has 3 children and 4 grandchildren and enjoys family time, reading, puzzles and the beach.?

Ms. Jenni is an Assistant Teacher in our Toddler classroom. She has worked in early childcare for 20 years and studied at Northern Virginia Community College. Ms. Jenni enjoys helping and watching kids grow and develop. She loves spending time with her three children, exploring the outdoors and listening to music.

Ms. Maria is an Assistant Teacher in our Preschool classroom. She is from Puerto Rico and moved to Fredericksburg in 2018. Ms. Maria has always loved working with children and taught at her local church since she was 18 years old. She sings in the worship band at church and enjoys cooking, singing, and going to the park with her family.

Ms. Karen is an Assistant Teacher in our Preschool classroom. She has been with The Goddard School since 2019 and has experience working across all ages infant through Pre-K. Ms. Karen was inspired by her grandmother to become a teacher, and she enjoys working with children as it creates a positive environment. Ms. Karen has two young children of her own.

Ms. Catie is an Assistant Teacher in our Pre-K classroom. She has worked in childcare for over five years and is studying early childhood development through the University of Phoenix. Ms. Catie loves spending time with her family, her boyfriend, and his daughter. She enjoys sushi and kit-kats and is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan.

Ms. Ruth is a floating assistant teacher with two years childcare experience in both childcare facilities and her church's childcare ministry. She helped raise her two sisters and has always loved kids and teaching. Ms. Ruth is a kid at heart and finds joy in children. She got married in 2023 and she and her husband enjoy leading worship music together at church. Ms. Ruth loves shopping, going out, and making people laugh.
