    Owner
    Ms. Angela became the proud owner of The Goddard School of Avon in October 2009. Since that time, she has been honored to nurture and educate the children entrusted to her care. Her philosophy revolves around creating a joyful and nurturing environment where young learners feel safe to explore, express themselves, and connect with others. Angela believes that early childhood is a special time filled with wonder, growth, and endless possibilities. She looks forward to welcoming you to a community where every child’s journey is cherished, and every family is valued.

    Miss Kate
    Director of Education
    Miss Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Child and Family Studies from Muskingum University, with minors in Business and Psychology. She joined The Goddard School in July 2018 after spending more than 10 years working in nonprofit administration, bringing a wealth of organizational experience and a deep passion for supporting children and families. Miss Kate loves being part of each child’s journey—from their very first days as infants to the moment they proudly graduate from Pre-K. Building relationships with families and watching children grow through every stage is one of her greatest joys. Outside of work, Miss Kate enjoys spending time with her family, proudly embracing life as a Girl Mom. She enjoys traveling with her husband and visiting new places. She also loves shopping, running, and reading. Her dedication, warmth, and enthusiasm make her a cherished part of the Goddard community.

    Assistant Director & Lead Teacher
    Miss Amanda holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Cleveland State University and has been a dedicated member of The Goddard School community since August 2018. As a Pre-K teacher, she brings enthusiasm, creativity, and a deep love for helping children learn. One of her favorite parts of teaching is seeing children’s faces light up when they discover something new—those moments fuel her passion every day. In addition to her work in the classroom, Miss Amanda also serves as the Assistant Director, supporting the school in the evenings and helping ensure a warm, organized, and welcoming environment for families and staff. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, swimming, shopping, reading, and crafting. Her kindness, patience, and dedication make her a valuable part of the Goddard community.

    Office Manager
    Miss Jackie has been a valued member of The Goddard School community since January 2016. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Kent State University and has contributed to the school in many meaningful ways over the years. Before stepping into her current role as Office Manager, she worked as a resource teacher, supporting all classrooms and gaining a deep understanding of the school’s programs and families. As Office Manager, you’ll find Miss Jackie in the office every morning—greeting families, keeping the school running smoothly, and ensuring everyone starts their day with a warm welcome. Outside of work, she enjoys exercising, going to the beach, spending time with family and friends, and cooking. Her experience, organization, and friendly presence make her an essential part of the Goddard community.

    Miss Stephanie has been a valued member of The Goddard School since April 2019. She brings warmth, patience, and a genuine passion for early childhood development to the classroom every day. She loves helping children work through challenges and celebrating their growth in all the big and small ways that make early learning so special. Outside of school, Miss Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, and cooking. Her dedication and excellence were recognized in a major way when she was named the 2024 Infant Teacher of the Year for the Midwest Region by Goddard Systems Inc.—a well-deserved honor that reflects her commitment to the children and families she serves.

    Lead Teacher - Baby Belugas Infant Classroom
    Miss Anna joined The Goddard School in January 2024 and quickly became a positive, creative presence in the classroom. She loves teaching because it allows her to make a meaningful impact—helping children build skills, confidence, and knowledge they’ll carry with them into the future. Outside of school, Miss Anna enjoys spending time with friends, hiking, painting, traveling, and baking. Her blend of creativity, patience, and enthusiasm makes her a wonderful guide for young learners as they grow each day.

    Miss Rachael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science and has been part of The Goddard School community since August 2023. She brings a calm, nurturing presence to the Infant room, where she loves helping little ones discover the joy of learning from their very earliest moments. Outside the classroom, Miss Rachael enjoys spending time with her family, biking, and playing guitar. Her blend of creativity, patience, and genuine care makes her a wonderful guide for infants as they grow, explore, and reach new milestones each day.

    Miss Jelene began her journey at The Goddard School in February 2025 and brings a caring, upbeat presence to the Toddler classroom. She holds an Associate of Arts degree from Lorain County Community College and is passionate about supporting young children as they learn, explore, and grow each day. She loves teaching because she enjoys being part of children’s happiness—brightening their day and sharing in the joy of their discoveries. Her nurturing approach helps toddlers feel confident and excited as they reach new milestones. Outside of school, Miss Jelene enjoys spending time with her dog, playing basketball, and camping. Her energy, kindness, and dedication make her a wonderful part of the Goddard community.

    Miss Natalie joined The Goddard School in March 2025 and has quickly become a caring, dependable presence in the Infant classrooms. She loves teaching because it allows her to make a meaningful difference in each child’s life—supporting their earliest milestones and helping them grow in a nurturing, encouraging environment. When she’s not in the classroom, Miss Natalie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, baking, and shopping. Her kindness, patience, and dedication make her a wonderful guide for the youngest learners as they begin their educational journey.

    Miss Jenny joined our school community in October 2024 and serves as our dedicated float teacher, supporting every classroom across the building. Her kind, thoughtful, and supportive nature allows her to step into any room with ease and make an immediate, positive impact. Outside of school, Miss Jenny loves spending time with her family and dogs, relaxing with a good movie, and enjoying a bit of shopping. She is passionate about teaching because she loves watching children grow, discover new things, and experience the excitement of learning. Her joy in seeing students’ curiosity come alive shines through in everything she does.

Miss Taylor loves watching children progress in their learning and seeing their confidence shine as they master something new. Those moments are what inspire her most as a teacher.     Lead Teacher - Perky Pelicans Toddler Classroom
    Miss Natalee joined The Goddard School in January 2025 and brings a bright, encouraging energy to the toddler classroom. She is currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education, further strengthening her commitment to helping young learners grow and thrive. Previously a preschool teacher at the school, she now enjoys supporting toddlers as they explore, discover, and build new skills each day. Outside of the classroom, Miss Natalee loves bowling, swimming, and singing. She is passionate about teaching because it allows her to make a positive impact on children’s lives and guide them through important developmental milestones.

    Lead Teacher - Shining Starfish Pre-K Classroom
    Mr. Jordan began working at The Goddard School in August 2022 and brings enthusiasm, patience, and a genuine love for early learning to the Pre-K classroom. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Inclusive Early Childhood Education from Bowling Green State University, giving him a strong foundation for supporting learners of all abilities. He finds it incredibly rewarding to help children learn and grow, and he loves what he does. His positive energy and supportive teaching style have made him a favorite among students throughout the entire school. Outside of work, Mr. Jordan enjoys reading, hammocking, and spending time with family and friends. His dedication, warmth, and passion for teaching make him an exceptional part of the Goddard community.

    Lead Teacher - Learning Lobsters Preschool Classroom
    Miss Abbey joined The Goddard School in January 2022 and brings dedication, creativity, and a strong educational background to her work with young learners. She earned her Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education with an Associate of Applied Science from Tri-C, and she has experience working in every classroom throughout the school. During the school year, Miss Abbey serves as the Junior Pre-K teacher, helping children build confidence, independence, and foundational skills. In the warmer months, she transitions into the role of Lead Teacher for the School Age Summer Camp, where she creates fun, engaging experiences for older students. She loves teaching because she enjoys witnessing children’s educational growth and supporting them as they overcome challenges. Seeing their progress and excitement inspires her every day.     Miss Emily has been a dedicated member of The Goddard School community since October 2017. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Ashland University and brings a strong foundation in child development to her classroom each day. She loves making a meaningful difference in children’s lives and finds joy in watching them grow, learn, and discover new things. With many years of experience working with toddlers, she takes pride in helping them build the skills and confidence they need as they prepare for preschool. Outside of school, Miss Emily enjoys reading and participating in trivia. Her passion for education and her genuine care for children make her a valued part of the Goddard team.

    Lead Teacher - Shining Starfish Pre-K Classroom
    Miss Jen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Cleveland State University and has been a devoted member of The Goddard School community since October 2008. With many years of experience in the field, she brings a wealth of knowledge to the classroom and has played a key role in establishing a high-quality Pre-K program. She loves teaching because her students challenge her just as much as she challenges them—an exchange that continually helps her grow as an educator. Watching children develop confidence, curiosity, and new skills is what inspires her every day. Outside of work, Miss Jen enjoys reading, going to the beach, spending time with family and friends, and traveling. Her dedication, expertise, and passion for early learning make her an invaluable part of the Goddard community.

    Miss Emily joined our school in August 2024 and has been a valued float teacher ever since, supporting children and teachers in classrooms throughout the building. She is currently attending Tri-C, where she is pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education and building a strong foundation for her future in the field. Outside of work, Miss Emily enjoys traveling, hiking, and reading, especially when it allows her to explore new places or unwind with a good book. She loves teaching because she finds joy in watching children discover something new. Seeing their excitement and pride as they learn and grow is what inspires her every day.

    Miss Eavan has been a dedicated member of our school community since May 2022. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Journalism from Miami University, where she developed a strong foundation in communication, critical thinking, and storytelling — skills she brings into the classroom every day. Outside of school, Miss Eavan enjoys reading, writing, spending time with friends, and cheering on women’s sports. Her passions help her connect with students in authentic, meaningful ways. As a former Goddard student herself, returning to teach at the school has been a full-circle moment. She loves being part of a supportive environment for families and takes pride in offering guidance, reassurance, and consistency. Miss Eavan is grateful to be part of the Goddard community and is committed to helping every child feel seen, supported, and excited to learn.

    Miss Savannah joined the school community in July 2020 and has been a dedicated, positive presence ever since. She loves building connections with students and supporting their growth each day. Outside of school, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, cheering on Cleveland sports, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.

    Miss Alondra joined our school community in July 2025 and has quickly become a valued part of our team. She currently serves as a float teacher, which means she can be found supporting all of our classrooms and building connections with children across the school. Her flexibility, calm presence, and willingness to jump in wherever she’s needed make her an essential part of our daily rhythm. She is pursuing a degree in Geology, a field that reflects her natural curiosity about how the world works—something she brings into her interactions with students each day. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, listening to music, and coloring, all of which help her unwind and stay grounded. Teaching is meaningful to her because she loves watching children learn new things, grow in confidence, and explore the world with curiosity. Being part of their growth is what inspires her most.

She holds an Associate of Universal Arts Degree with a focus in Early Childhood Education, giving her a strong foundation for supporting young learners as they grow, explore, and build new skills. She loves teaching because she enjoys talking with her students and sharing in their natural curiosity about the world. Being part of their happiness and daily discoveries is what inspires her most. Outside of work, Miss Carmen enjoys reading, watercolor painting, and bike riding. Her creativity, warmth, and enthusiasm make her a wonderful part of the Goddard community.

She is currently pursuing a degree in Education and is driven by her desire to make a meaningful difference in the world. Knowing that she gets to help children grow every day is what makes teaching so fulfilling for her. Outside of work, Miss Geena enjoys camping, building with Legos, playing video games, and going on adventures with her step-kids. Her creativity, dedication, and genuine love for helping young learners thrive make her a wonderful part of the Goddard community.

Miss Maria loves watching children learn, grow, and experience those exciting “WOW” moments that make early childhood education so special. Her nurturing approach helps toddlers feel supported as they explore and develop new skills each day. Outside of work, she enjoys walking, binge-watching movies on Netflix, and spending time with her family. She holds Associate’s degrees in both Art and Science from Lorain County Community College, bringing a thoughtful blend of creativity and curiosity to her classroom. Outside of school, Miss Amanda enjoys running, hiking, spending time outdoors, and being with her family. She loves teaching infants because she finds it incredibly rewarding to support little ones as they learn and grow through their earliest experiences. Watching their personalities emerge and seeing their progress each day is what makes her work feel truly special.

    Miss Sabrina joined our school community in October 2025 and serves as one of our dedicated float teachers. With a Certificate of Completion in Early Childhood Education from JVS, she brings a strong foundation in child development to every classroom she supports. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Neuroscience at Cleveland State University, deepening her understanding of how children learn, grow, and experience the world. In her free time, Miss Sabrina enjoys learning about cars and motorcycles, reading psychology books, watching dinosaur documentaries and movies, practicing photography, and baking cookies. She loves teaching because it allows her to make a meaningful difference in children’s lives—helping them feel heard, engaged, and confident in their abilities. As a float teacher, you’ll see Miss Sabrina in classrooms across the building, bringing her fun, caring presence wherever she goes.

    Miss Sujud is a dedicated float teacher who joined our team in February 2026. She brings warmth, flexibility, and a genuine passion for supporting students of all ages. Because she works across classrooms, students see her throughout the day—whether she’s lending a hand during lessons, helping with transitions, or offering end-of-day support with a smile. She is currently pursuing a degree in Pre-Med, a path that reflects her love of science, learning, and helping others. That same passion shines through in her teaching. She enjoys guiding students as they grow, discover new skills, and build confidence, and she values the opportunity to make a positive impact in their lives each day. Outside of work, Miss Sujud enjoys playing tennis and reading, two hobbies that help her stay active, curious, and balanced. Her favorite part of teaching is watching students learn and grow—knowing she played even a small part in their journey.
