Madhu’s family established many schools in Delhi, India. They created learning opportunities for many children who didn’t have access to education. As Mathematics and Early Childhood Teachers Akhil’s parents helped many children experience a better life. As a successful business executive, Madhu has spent her career putting clients and colleagues needs first. At the same time, Akhil has proudly served as an executive for the Department of Defense. Our family includes a son and daughter who attend medical and engineering school.     My name is Hasna Belayachi & I am the Executive Director of The Goddard School of Waldorf, Maryland. As the Executive Director, I take great pride in knowing that our School is one that strives for excellence and quality in the Early Childhood Education Industry. I have over 20 years of experience working in the childcare field. I have been working with Goddard since 2015. I have a Baccalaureate in modern literature , Preschool CDA, Infant CDA ,Associate in early childhood education. I hold Level 4 ECE Director credential. I enjoy spending time with my family and enjoying music, shopping and reading. As an Executive Director of The Goddard Schools, I’m committed to working with and supporting the Directors to provide your child with the best care and highest quality of education possible.     My name is Ms. Ryan Templeman, I started working for The Goddard School of Waldorf, as Assistant Director and now I am the Director of this wonderful school. I have a Bachelor's degree in sociology. I worked as a manager at a retail store in my hometown Washington DC for five years. I have also worked as a mental health therapist for a few months and then found my way here at The Goddard School of Waldorf. I have a passion for Early Childhood Education and have wanted to work in this field since I was a child. I am a mother of one beautiful daughter. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy eating crabs and listening to music. I am happy to be a part of such a wonderful team and look forward to building great long-lasting relationships.

    Office Assistant
    Ms. Courtney is the Office Assistant here at The Goddard School of Waldorf. She brings with her 4 years of experience working with children in a childcare setting and a background of with the elderly and School-Age within the community. She holds her Infant and Toddler, Preschool and School-Age certification in Early Childcare Education. Additionally, she has completed training, including CPR/First Aid, MAT, communications courses.

    Private Kindergarten Lead Teacher
    Ms. Lydia is the Lead Teacher in our Private Kindergarten. Ms Lydia is the kindergarten teacher at The Goddard School® located in Waldorf MD. She began working with children in 2008 but has been a part of The Goddard School® family since 2016. She has her Bachelor of Education in Home Economics, a Preschool and Infant Toddlers CDA and her state specific education certifications. Ms. Lydia holds a level 6 ECE credential. She is First Aid/CPR certified and Medical Administration certified. She is the mother of three beautiful children. She believes every child is a unique individual and should be allowed and encouraged to learn at their own pace.     Ms. Keana is a Teacher in our Pre-K 2 Program. She was born and raised in Guam until the age of 12. She's lived in Florida, Okinawa (apan), Hawaii, Virginia, and now Maryland. She plans on receiving a bachelor's degree in early childhood development. This year will be her 2nd year working in the educational field.     Pre-Kindergarten Lead Teacher, Ms. Manyuri Moncada. Ms. Moncada brings with her over 15 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. Her expertise spans across various age groups, with a particular focus on Pre-K and Kindergarten. She served as an Assistant Director for five years in the state of Virginia and holds a Child Development Accreditation.     Pre-Toddlers Ms.Danielle is our Lead Teacher in the Pre-Toddlers classroom. She has been working in the Early Childhood Education field since 2001 but she has been a part of the Goddard family since 2014. She has her state specific education certifications and is pursuing her degree in Early Childhood Education. She is the mother of two beautiful children.     Preschool Teacher
    My name is Gabriella Mendez, but you can call me Gabby. I am very excited to get to know all of you and your littles. I have 10 years of experience working with young children. I have taught all ages from infant through preschool. I was recently a student at Northampton Community College majoring in Early Childhood Education. I’m planning to start at CSM in the fall. I am originally from Pennsylvania and moved here to the DMV in October of 2021. In my free time you’ll catch me journaling, singing, playing guitar, and playing with my dog! I love being a teacher because I never have a boring day! Each day brings something new and exciting, and I love seeing my students grow and knowing that I was a small part of that. I can’t wait to see what this chapter in my life brings.

    I have worked at Wicomico County Public Schools in elementary education for 4 years while working on a bachelor's degree in psychology at Colorado Technical University. I started out as a substitute teacher for the 2018-2019 school year. In the last two terms of the school year, I became a long-term substitute for the emotional disturbed elementary program in the county. Then in the school year of 2019-2020 I became a Special Education Instructional Assistant. I worked with special needs children as well as children who are learning English. I am currently working on my master's degree in Elementary Teacher Education at the University of Phoenix.

    Ms. Ciara is our Lead Teacher in the First Steps classroom. Ms. Ciara has been an early childhood educator for 5+ years and has worked exclusively with infants/toddlers throughout the stint of her Early Childhood Education. She believes all students are able to do anything and can do anything. She also believes that with the proper teachings and attention, each child will soar as high as they can. Ms. Ciara has her 45hr in early childhood education, a 45 in infant/toddler, and am actively in the process of earning my CDA in Infant/Toddler care, as well as pursuing preschool credentials. I pursued a career in early childhood education because, children will always be the future. At any age, children in adolescence are sponges, and can learn.     Ms. Dana is our Lead Teacher for out Infant program. Ms. Dana has over 33 years of experience in Early childhood Education. Her expertise spans across various age groups including Infant and Toddlers, Preschool, and School Age Curriculum. Ms. Dana is CDA certified and continues to hold college education credits in Early Childcare curriculum. Additionally, she has completed extensive training, including CPR, communication courses, and various Early Childhood Education modules.     Ms. Hamideh is a Teacher in our Pre-Toddlers program. She has been with the Goddard School since early 2023. She has a bachelor's degree in accounting and master's degree in public management.     Ms. Maria is a Teacher here at the Goddard School of Waldorf. She has been an Assistant Teacher since 2016 and has experience as a Nanny for 3 years. Ms. Maria is fluent in Spanish and English. She believes that creating a safe and welcoming environment for the children in her care keeps them open to exploring more about themselves and what they can do in the world around them.
