    Mrs Evin

    On Site Owner
    Education: B.S. in Restaurant Management and A.S. in baking and Pastry Arts from the Culinary Institute of America. Experience: Evin started her career in the restaurant industry in 2003. In 2011 she started her own bakery and in 2012 acquired a second bakery. Evin’s family has been in the Goddard family since 2009, when her brother and mother started the Goddard Buckhead location. Favorite Children’s Book: Where the Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein Fun Fact: I can make fun sculpted cakes and grand wedding cakes!

    Executive Director
    Education: B.S. in Education from Georgia Southwestern State University and pursuing a Masters in Education Leadership Experience: Carla-Renee started her career in the public school system. In 2010, she moved to the Atlanta area and worked for a fortune 500 company before joining The Goddard Team in 2013. Favorite Children’s Book: Brown Bear, Brown Bear What do you see? Fun Fact: I have four little boys and I finally had a daughter in April of 2019. I enjoy coaching with my husband and attending sporting events with my boys. A new hobby of mine is coordinating and wearing matching outfits with my daughter.

    Education: B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from Strayer University and an A.S. in Early Childhood Education. Experience: Angiee has been with the Goddard family since 2013. Previous to Goddard, she was with the public school system for a total of 5 years working with children from Kindergarten to Fifth Grade. Favorite Children’s Book: A Bad Case of Tattle Tongue by Julia Cook. Fun Fact: Angiee loves animals especially her dogs, Richard Parker & Charles Barkey!

    Education: Ms. Gabby took some courses in Early Childhood Education at the University of Phoenix and is currently working on her Child Development Associate. Experience: She has over 5 years years of experience working in a childcare setting as an Assistant and Lead Teacher. Ms. Gabby worked with infants and toddlers caring, nurturing and helping them develop their cognitive skills and meeting milestones goals. Favorite Children's Books: If You Give A Mouse A Cookie by Laura Numeroff, Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See? by Bill Martin Jr. and The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. Fun Fact: Ms. Gabby enjoys dedicating a whole weekend to self care and is a licensed Cosmetologist.

She loves arts and crafts and loves getting her hands dirty in sensory play.

She was beein working in childcare since 2009 and has spend the past two years as a teacher at The Goddard School in New York. Her favorite children's book is Brown Bear, Brown Bear what do you see? Ms. Shanequa is also an avid Spongebob fan.

    Ms. Leah is a dedicated and compassionate individual with a Bachelor of Science degree in social work. Since 2019, she has been actively involved in the field of childcare, bringing her expertise and enthusiasm to create a nurturing environment for children. Her true passion lies in working with two-year-olds, as she finds great joy in helping them learn and grow during this crucial stage of their development. One of Ms. Leah's favorite aspects of her role is sharing the magic of storytelling with her young charges. She holds a special place in her heart for children's literature, particularly the books "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" and "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom." These stories captivate her students' imaginations and encourage their curiosity, fostering a love for reading and learning from an early age.Ms. Leah's vibrant personality extends beyond the realm of books. She enjoys incorporating music into her teaching methods, engaging her students in lively sing-alongs and dancing.

    Education: Mr. Jay is a graduate from the Creative Amel Performing Arts School as a Musical Theater Major and Dance minor. He also toured as Aladdin with the Disney Cruise. He has a Bilingual CDA in Infant Toddlers and has been teaching since 2011. Experience: Mr. Jay has worked as an Assistant Teacher, Lead Teacher and was a teacher with a Spanish Immersion school Favorite Children's Book: Julian the Mermaid Fun Fact: Mr. Jay is a trained aerialist and worked with Knot Dance for 3 years.

    Ms. Yamilca is an experienced childcare professional with over 18 years of teaching experience, who is currently pursuing a Child Development Associate (CDA) certification to further enhance her skills. Ms. Yamilca is thrilled to join The Goddard School as she has a passion for early childhood education and believes that every child deserves a nurturing and stimulating environment to learn and grow. Ms. Yamilca's favorite children's books are The Giving Tree and Rainbow Fish. She believes that these books instill valuable lessons about generosity, kindness, and empathy, which are crucial for a child's social and emotional development. Ms. Yamilca has a particular interest in working with toddlers, as she finds them to be full of wonder and excitement, eager to learn and explore. She believes in creating a warm and welcoming classroom environment that fosters creativity, imagination, and critical thinking.

Experience: She has over 4 years of experience working with infants and toddlers, which allowed her to develop a strong passion for educating young children and find great joy in nurturing their growth and development. Favorite Children's Book: The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. Fun Fact: Ms. E'Lon loves to travel, she has had the privilege of visiting Germany, Haiti, Mexico and Paris

Prior to Goddard, she worked in Thailand for years as an English teacher with students ranging from toddler-elementary aged children. Her favorite children's books are Jack the Beanstalk and Little Red Riding Hood. Mrs. Ruth loves to sing and cook!

With a passion for nurturing young minds, she joined our team after working as a teacher at another Goddard School. Ms. Alex's favorite children's book is the beloved classic, "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom," which she uses to engage and inspire her students. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Ms. Alex has a fascinating background—she is Haitian and looks forward to visiting Haiti every summer, immersing herself in the vibrant culture and traditions of her heritage.     Ms. Reyonna is a new teacher who is a graduate of Warner Robins High School. Although she's new to teaching, she's had experience as a caregiver since 2020 and has a passion for caring for others. Her favorite children's book is Ruby Bridges Goes to School, which speaks to her love for education and her desire to inspire and empower her students. Ms. Reyonna also enjoys braiding hair, listening to the soothing sound of the ocean, and spending quality time with her son. In her free time, Ms. Marina can often be found reading comic books or exploring new hiking trails. Currently, she is pursuing a degree in Human Services at Kennesaw State University, furthering her knowledge and skills in providing comprehensive care and support to individuals and families.     Education: Mr. Gerard is currently earning his Bachelor of Science in Sociology at Kennesaw State University. Experience: He has been working with children for the past 10 years as a camp counselor, coach, trainer and most recently as a registered behavior technician. Favorite Children's Book: Fox in Socks by Dr. Seuss Fun Fact: Mr. Gerard's plan for the future is to be a Mental Health Advocate for all children.
