    Brielle

    Owner
    Brielle and her husband Chad are the proud owners of Goddard School of Marietta. Brielle is on-site and is regularly involved with the families and teachers at our school. The Hooker Family purchased the school in May of 2023. Prior to joining The Goddard Family, Brielle received her Bachelor’s degree from Cabrini College in Graphic Design and her Master’s degree from Savannah College of Art and Design in Advertising. Brielle loves spending time with her two daughters (Elliana and Kennedy) and her husband, who you will often see around the school. She is originally from New Jersey and therefore loves to spend her free time at the Jersey Shore. Outside of school, you’ll find Brielle playing at the park with her girls, enjoying local restaurants or at the Yoga Studio. Brielle loves going into all the classrooms and hanging out with the kids, getting to know the children is her favorite

    Mickenzie

    Executive Director
    Mickenzie has been working in childcare since 2015 and has a passion for helping and watching children grow and flourish. She has her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. Mickenzie believes that all children are unique individuals that need a safe space to grow and explore. It is her desire to create a stimulating educational environment where students can grow physically, mentally, emotionally and socially to meet their full potential. Mickenzie was born and raised in Burlington Vermont. She lives in Marietta with her fiancé and French bulldog. They love going to dog parks and exploring new areas.

    Operations Director
    Porsche has been working with children since 2004 and obtained her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2014. She loves being a part of the Goddard family and watch children learn and exceed their goals. She believes every child should learn to be themselves and find their way to shine. Porsche has a son named Blaine who graduated from Goddard in August 2016. She enjoys baking, spending quality time with Blaine and vacationing with family. One of Porsche's favorite quotes is "What would you attempt if you knew you would succeed?"

    Mirian

    Lead Two's Teacher
    Miss Mirian has been working with children for over 20 years. As a young teen she was a “Junior Babysitter” while also nannying throughout her college years. In more recent years she has worked in Early Childhood education for the last 4 years. Miss Mirian believes all children are unique and always strives to give individualized attention to them in order for the children to meet their full potential. She also believes play-based learning is essential in early education. Miss Mirian encourages children to explore, discover, and experiment in a safe and supportive environment. She values building strong and nurturing relationships with children in her care. She is a dedicated wife and mother to a beautiful family that consists of her loving husband, two talented teenagers and an excited toddler. Her hobbies include reading science fiction, thriller and political thriller novels, cooking/ baking, as well as exercising and organizing.

    Lead Infant Teacher
    Ms. Angela has her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and her Bachelors in Human Learning and Development and Educational Psychology. She also is working on her Masters in Special Education. She has been teaching young minds since 2015. Ms. Angela's philosophy is to provide a creative and safe learning environment for students to enjoy and explore educational possibilities. She loves to motivate her students with research, experiment and drawing their own conclusions. She was born smiling and raised as a Southern Georgia Peach. She enjoys arts and crafts, photography, scrap-booking and family time. She has a nine year old daughter who graduated from this Goddard School in 2016. She is reminded everyday that life is worth living with laughter.

    Lead Toddler Teacher
    Ms. Katlin has been working with children of all ages for five years. She believes all children deserve to be treated with as much love and patience as possible. She believes teachers should have a love and passion for what they do and understand how important their role is in each child's life. Ms. Katlin has seven siblings. She has two pet cockatiels that she loves spending time with. In her free time, she enjoys singing, music, playing instruments, and creative crafts.

    Angelia

    Lead Preschool Teacher
    Angie has been working with children since 1988. She worked 17 years for the US Army with schools on army bases around the country and 12 years with a corporate owned early childhood education program. With her 17 years of serving in the US Army, she received two honorable discharges. She has her Child Development Associate credential and has been a lead teacher at Goddard since June 2015. Angie has worked with all age groups and has loved every minute of teaching, watching children grow, and impacting children's lives in a positive way. Angie has three children and six grandchildren that she enjoys spending time with.

    Lead Pre-K Teacher
    Mr. Alex has been working with children since 2020 in a PreK setting. He is currently finishing up his TCC in Early Childhood Education and plans on pursuing his education with an Associates in Early Childhood Education. Mr. Alex believes all children deserve to learn no matter what. Every child may not learn the same way but he plans to adjust his teaching style to fit each child's needs. Mr. Alex was recently married to his wife Anna. They have a dog named Saddie and a cat named Cleo. In his free time he enjoys going on hikes and doing DIY projects.
  • Ms Jordane

    Ms Jordane

    Lead Toddler Teacher
    Miss Jordane has been in childcare for 7 years. She originally started working in early childcare centers at the age of 16 and later went on to receive her CDA. Miss Jordane believes all children are unique and have their own ways of learning. Her teaching style is individualized to each student. Miss Jordane loves going home to her very energentic goldendoodle. Outside of school Miss Jordane loves to shop and explore the city with her friends.

    Lead Preschool Teacher
    Miss Nneka grew up with a love of teaching that was passed down from her mother. She originally began her associate in early childhood education and finished with her Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management. She later found that her passion was in teaching children which is what lead her back to Early Childhood Development. Nneka is a mother of two beautiful, awesome children and two cats! She loves trying new restaurants with her family, watching movies, and reading books. Miss Nneka believes all children are teachable, creative, and fun! The giggles make any task easier!

    Lead Toddler Teacher
    Madison recently moved to Georgia with her family. She has been working with children for 5 years and is currently earning her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. She believes that children are naturally curious and learn best when they can explore their curiosity. She comes from a large family, Madison is one of 6 children and has 2 dogs. Her favorite things to do are hiking, reading, and baking.

    Lead Two's Teacher
    Kacy has over 7 years of experience in childcare and coaching children. She graduated from Georgia Southwestern State University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She believes that if she is a good role model and leads by example, they will learn through observation. She uses various techniques in her teaching style to help every child succeed. When she isn’t teaching, she loves being outdoors with her family and dogs. She also enjoys coaching kickboxing and Brazilian Jujitsu. Her favorite thing to do is spending time with her family at the beach. Kacy has high expectations out of life and her students.

    Assistant Young Toddler Teacher
    Anahi has been working with children for a little over a year. She is currently at Kennesaw State University and working towards her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She believes all children could learn and grow and that no child should ever be excluded. She also believes that each child is unique and has their own special set of gifts. Every child has a purpose in Anahi’s eyes. Outside of school, she loves reading, working out and going out for brunch. She enjoys spending time with her family, exploring new places and trying new foods. In Anahi’s spare time, she watches mystery shows and movies.

    Assistant Infant Teacher
    Miss Andrea has been in Early Childcare for 3 years after spending 12 years as a Stay at Home mom. She has been married for 15 years and has two beautiful, teenage daughters and a little poodle named, Kenko. She believes every child is unique with their own learning style and by showing them love and patience, you can teach them anything. When Miss Andrea is not working, she loves spending time with her family and watching movies.

    Assistant Pre-K Teacher
    Nancy has been teaching and caring for children since 2002. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in child development. She believes all children are curious and independent little people that are eager to learn. Nancy is married and has two children. Her oldest is special needs which has opened up a new world to her. She believes every day is a new day with new challenges and beginnings. She has two longhaired dachshunds that love her attention! She enjoys gardening, reading, cooking and loves spending time with family and friends.

    Miss Shaniaya has been working with children for almost 5 years and is currently working towards a degree in nursing. She believes all children are blessings and that they are all deserving of love and comfort. Her opinion is that all children can learn and grow regardless of their background. Miss Shaniaya grew up with 7 siblings and loves having a very big family. She has a love for animals especially her puppy, Nimbus. In her spare time she enjoys reading, cooking, shopping, and going to the movies.

    Miss Kirsten has been working with children for 4 years. She is currently working on her bachelors degree from Kennesaw State University and is in the Georgia Army National Guard. She believes all children are a blessing in the world. Her favorite things to do in her free time is to explore nature and go to the park.

    Miss Elise, or as her friends call her, Lissie, has worked with children for over 4 years, between working as a counselor in day camps and at other schools. She is getting her degree from Kennesaw University and is majoring in Public Relations. She loves dancing, writing, and spending time with those closest to her. She has been dancing for 14 years and is particularly passionate about choreography. She believes all children deserve to be treated with love and respect, as well as learning in a fun and comfortable environment.

    Miss Abby has been working with children for over two years with plans to go back to school for her TCC soon. She believes all children are fun and creative and truly thinks that we have a lot to learn from children. She feels privileged to be working around children every day. Miss Abby is a middle child with two brothers and lives with a few of her friends in Kennesaw. She usually spends her time off reading or spending time with her cats at home or with family and friends.

    Miss Chantae was born in St. Andrews, Jamaica and moved to the States when she was turning 13. She’s currently attending Kennesaw State University as a sophomore, looking forward to getting her BSN in Nursing with a goal of becoming a Neonatal Nurse practitioner. She has been working in childcare for almost a year but has been watching her family members for as long as she can remember. Working in the infant classroom has solidified her decision in a career has a NICU Nurse. She enjoys watching kids grow and learn especially at the infant stage, from getting to watch them learn different emotions to learning their triggers which are essential when we help them grow. Miss Chantae believes all children are innocent and it takes a lot of patience to be able to guide them.

    Miss Jennifer is an Atlanta native and declares herself as a true Georgia Peach. She was a stay-at-home mother before jumping into childcare which taught her everything she needed to know about patience and love while working with children. She truly believes that children need to be lifted up and never put down. Miss Jennifer says that every child is unique but knows they all need to be nurtured, protected and cared for. Outside of working for The Goddard School, Miss Jennifer has 2 dogs who she loves to go to the park with. In her free time, she enjoys going out to eat, shopping and going bowling.
