We believe children deserve the greatest start so they can become the best versions of themselves. The Goddard Great Start Scholarship offers an opportunity for two families, one new and one existing, to receive a full year of tuition! Applications close May 1, 2026.

Meet Gary and Lori Owner

Mr. Gary and Mrs. Lori are the On-Site Owners of The Goddard School in Fredericksburg, VA. Gary holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Virginia Commonwealth University, and has 20+ years of business and educational experience. Lori holds a bachelor's degree from Princeton University and an MBA from Duke University. She has over 20 years of business experience. As the parents of two boys who have already graduated from a Goddard School, Gary and Lori understand the Goddard experience as both a parent and an owner and recognize the importance of providing a consistent and strong curriculum in a safe and nurturing environment. They are committed to providing the highest quality preschool experience and love being a part of the lives of children and families in the community. They look forward to introducing you to our incredible faculty and showing you around our state–of–the–art facility!

There is SOOOO much we love about Goddard! The owners are present all day/every day. The teachers and staff are all super friendly and qualified. The school is CLEAN! Fabulous curriculum. I can’t think of anything negative except I wish I found it sooner!
