Ross, Owner Ross Flax opened The Goddard School in King Farm in October of 2003. Ross attended Temple University and received a BA in Business Administration. Ross has been married to Sandra for 25+ years and has two children; a daughter in college and a son in high school.

Ross began his Goddard career in 1997 when he opened the first Goddard School in the state of Maryland in Columbia. Ross subsequently went on to open The Goddard School in Clarksburg, Maryland along with his partner, Toby Noyes.

Mrs Genevieve, Director Mrs. Genevieve Quarshie-Brown (Gigi) is our Center Director at The Goddard School of Rockville. She has her degrees (B.S. & M.A.) in Education. She holds a B.S. in Early Childhood Education and her Masters focuses on Family Studies and Special Education. She has over 28 years of experience working in the childcare field. Gigi is delighted to be working in an environment where children come first and where teachers demonstrate acceptance and compassion every single day. Gigi is happily married with three beautiful children and enjoys music, shopping and reading.

Courtney, Assistant Director Mrs. Courtney Anderson is our Education Director at The Goddard School of Rockville. She earned her B.A in Early Childhood Education Administration and has been with Goddard since 2013. She is currently credentialed at the MSDE Administrator Level 4. Courtney is the mother to a nine year old son. As you make your decisions for child care, Courtney will be available to answer any questions you may have and ensure your child’s experience at The Goddard School is enriching and fulfilling!

Sunita , Lead Teacher Ms. Joyce is a teacher in our Infant Program. Ms. Joyce has been with us since the school first opened in 2003! Ms. Joyce received her 90-hour Early Childhood Certification, and 45 hour Infant/Toddler Certification. Ms. Joyce has completed college back in her home country in India. Ms. Joyce speaks English, Telugu, and Hindi.

Fatima , Lead Teacher Ms. Fatima is a teacher in our infant program. She is currently pursing her CDA and has taught education for the past three years. Fatima is original from Nicaragua and speak English and Spanish. She wishes to model friendship, love, kindness, loyalty, sincerity and respect in all her students.

Mary Grace, Lead Teacher Ms. Mary Grace is a teacher in our toddler program. Mary Grace holds a Masters in Education and a B.S in Secondary Education. She speaks Filipino and English. Mary wishes to model respect, love and sensitivity to others in all of her students.

Patricia , Lead Teacher Ms. Patricia is a teacher in our toddler program. Patricia has been with us since 2007. She has her 90-hour Early Childhood Certification. She also has her 45-hour certification. Ms. Patricia has been working with children for over 15+ years. Ms. Patricia speaks English and Spanish. She loves how inquisitive the Goddard children can be.

Eunice, Lead Teacher Ms. Eunice is a teacher in our twos program. Eunice has her 90 clock hour certification and 45 hour certification in Early Childhood Education. Eunice has been working in child care for the past eight years. She also has 120 hours towards her CDA. Eunice is the mother of three children. She speaks English and Ghanaian. Eunice loves working with children because they challenge and inspire how she looks and engages with the world around them! She wishes to model confidence and appropriate behavior in all her students.

Martyna, Lead Teacher Ms. Martyna is a teacher in our toddler program. She is currently pursuing a degree in nursing. Martyna strives to meet the individual needs of each of her students, as each child is so unique and special. Not all children learn the same!

Milenie, Lead Teacher Ms. Milenie is a teacher in our Twos program. She has been with us since 2016. She has her Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication and her 90 hour certification in early childhood. She has earned 32 units in Special Education from Miriam College which is located in Quezon City, Philippines. She has been working with exceptional needs students for seven years in the Philippines and in the United States. Ms. Milenie hopes to inspire students to dream and would like to influence them to be better individuals and inculcate not only knowledge but also values in life that give them the tools they need in order to achieve success.

Minahil, Lead Teacher Ms. Minahil is a lead teacher in our two year old program. She earned her Bachelors degree in Textile and Fashion Designing and has been teaching since 2015. She speaks Urdu and English. Minahil promotes a passion for learning in order to give her students the confidence they need to achieve their goals. She loves that children are kind-hearted, adaptable and eager to learn something new!

Nakia, Lead Teacher Ms. Nakia (Nikki) is a teacher in our twos program. She is currently pursuing her degree in education. Ms. Nikki loves that her students are all so full of curiosity and life. They express themselves so vividly and bring their own personalities into the classroom. Ms. Nikki encourages her children to always ask questions, ensure we treat others the way we would like to be treated, and enjoy life!

Mychal, Lead Teacher Ms. Mychal is a Lead Teacher in our Kindergarten Transition program. Mychal has been teaching since 2013. She is currently pursuing a degree in Multi-Disciplinary Studies with minors in Sociology, Communication Studies and Child Development. Ms. Mychal wishes to model compassion and understanding of others as well as confidence in one's individual skills and abilities.

She wishes to model good values in order for children to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially.

Olivia has two daughters, ages five and one. Ms. Olivia loves that children at The Goddard School have such unique personalities and cultures. Alyssa, Lead Teacher Ms. Brown is our Kindergarten teacher. She has been with us since 2016. She is currently pursuing a degree in Sociology. She has over 5 years of experience working with children. Her extended family comes from Ghana,located in West Africa. Ms. Brown loves that the children at The Goddard School come in everyday excited to learn! She wishes to model integrity and fairness.

Rizwana, Lead Teacher Ms. Zia is our kindergarten teacher. She earned her B.A in Education and obtained her higher secondary school certification in addition to her secondary school certification. She has previously taught kindergarten and elementary school students back in Bangladesh, before moving to the United States where she continued teaching elementary school students in both private and public schools. Ms. Zia is excited to partner with her students and families and make each child's kindergarten experience unforgettable!

Beverly , Lead Teacher Ms. Beverly is a teacher in our Pre-K program. She has been with us since we first opened in 2003! She has a Bachelor of Science Degree and is working towards her Masters Degree in Elementary Education. She also has her 90 hour Early Childhood certificate. She has been working with children for 35+ years. Ms. Beverly loves when children enjoy coming to school everyday and they are eager to learn.

Gina, Lead Teacher Ms. Gina is a teacher in our Pre-K program. Ms. Gina has her 90-hour Early Childhood Certification. Gina has been teaching for 8 years and has had the chance to work with a vast amount of ages! Gina is from Maryand and has one older brother, a niece and a nephew whom she adore. Gina loves how children are always eager to learn and show affection. She wishes to model patience, and a love for learning and art. She speaks English, Spanish, American Sign Language, and some German.

Janet , Lead Teacher Ms. Radovich is a Kindergarten Transition Teacher in our Pre-K program. Ms. Radovich has been here since 2005. She has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Health Care Management, an Associates Degree in Applied Science and a 90-Hour Certification in Early Childhood Education and School age. Ms. Radovich has been teaching at The Goddard School since 2005 and has over 15 years of experience. She wants her students to be in awe of life, to wonder about things and ask lots of questions and then discover ways to
find answers to their questions.

Bryana , Assistant Teacher Ms. Bryana is a teacher in our infant program. Bryana is a Magruder graduate and participated in a program called Future Link which supports students in career planning and building. Bryana has been teaching for the past three years, two of which she supported students through MCPS. Bryana wishes to model honesty, respect fairness and encouragement in her students!

Andrea is the mother to a one year old daughter, who also attends The Goddard School. Alina, Assistant Teacher Ms. Alina is a support staff at The Goddard School who supports us in a variety of capacities. Alina has been teaching for over three years and currently attends Montgomery College. Alina wishes to promote having a positive attitude in life which she feels can go a long way!

Tenise, Assistant Teacher Ms. Tenise is one of our floaters, supporting our school in a variety of capacities. She is currently working on getting her Occupational Therapy Certificate. Tenise comes from a caring and loving family. She has been working with children for 2 years and hopes to model respect, honesty and self-love.

David, Resource Mr. David is our Physical Education Teacher here at The Goddard School. Mr. David is married and the father of two precious kids. He was born in Guatemala and developed as a professional soccer player at the age of 22. This was followed by obtaining an economist college degree in 1999.

David is a certified and licensed Coach by the U.S Soccer Federation, with a true passion for sports. He is enthusiastic about sharing his knowledge and love of the sports with others. Since 2016, his company, High Score Soccer, has been serving children from toddlers to teenagers, through their development programs and services, to help students develop and grow in a healthy environment by encouraging students to practice sports as part of a well-rounded life. 

Our Physical Education Program emphasizes fun clinics, and support learning and play through dynamic activity, oriented to: Demonstrate traveling skills; balancing skills and gross-motor manipulative skills encouraging participant’s enthusiasm and enjoyment.

Emily, Resource Ms. Emily is our Music Enrichment teacher. Emily, MT-BC is a Board Certified Music Therapist from Bethesda, MD. She graduated from Shenandoah University in 2014 and for the past few years she has worked with individuals and groups with developmental disabilities and mental health issues. Emily has a passion for using music to make learning fun! Through developing creative, music-based plans, Emily addresses academic, social, motor, and emotional needs to accompany what children are already learning in the classroom. She is looking forward to singing, playing, and dancing her way through the 2019-2020 school year at The Goddard School!

May, Resource Ms. May is our wonderful Chinese specialist teacher. She is originally from China and has her B.A. from National Taiwan Normal University. In 2009 she attended an Overseas Cultural and Traditional Arts Teacher Training and the WMACS Chinese Teacher Professional Training. She has been working at The Goddard School since 2010. Ms. May wishes to model kindness, honesty, responsibility, and self-reliance. She loves the children's compassion and enthusiasm for other cultures.

Yaudith , Resource Ms. Yaudith is our Spanish Enrichment Teacher. Our Spanish program exposes children to the Hispanic culture and introduces children to simple words and phrases in Spanish. Ms. Yaudith is the mother of two children and has been teaching for the past 14 years. Ms. Yaudith wishes to model patience and understand in each of her students.
