Our school is looking for loving teachers who can inspire kids and make learning fun for them. We are currently seeking a great Infant Teacher to join our team. Our infant teachers are tasked with the below-listed responsibilities. - maintain a safe, clean environment. - foster an open, friendly, and cooperative relationship with each child and family.- provide a variety of materials and resources for children to explore and manipulate during age-appropriate learning activities and in imaginative play.- organize each day’s activities to provide children with a variety of experiences and opportunities that allow them to develop curiosity, initiative, problem solving skills, and creativity.- organize and lead activities designed to promote physical, mental and social development, such as games, arts and crafts, music, storytelling.- arrange indoor space to facilitate creative play, motor-skill activities, and safety.- attend staff meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops in order to maintain and improve professional competence.- come to work on time, enthusiastic, committed, and professionally prepared every day.- ability to lift a 15-30 pound child frequently throughout the day.Teacher Qualifications:- (DCFS) Department of Child and Family Services 45 hours of ECE mandatory training completed.- high School Diploma, Bachelors, Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, or CDA.- first Aid/ CPR certified.- ability to assist in all classrooms infant-prekindergarten.- minimum 6 months experience in a licensed center and/or school.- demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices.- strong written and communication skills.- maintain current credentials.- must pass State of Florida and FBI background checks.- must be able to kneel, stoop, squat, and stand for a long time and demonstrate and engage in activities like jumping, dancing, walking, and running.Additional Information:We are competitive in FT compensation and benefits, including Medical Insurance - PTO - $100 towards training every year - Paid Holidays - Annual Bonus - Closed for one week at Christmas (in addition to PTO) - Tuition reimbursement - Mentoring and professional development - Opportunity to work among top professionals in our field.
