Ms Shannon, Assistant Director Ms. Shannon is our school's Assistant Director. She holds her Administrative Credentials I and II. Ms. Shannon has over 20 years of experience in the field of early childhood.

Ms. Shannon has 4 children, 3 girls and 1 boy. She finds working with children very rewarding. "I enjoy working with children to ensure they have the resources and opportunities needed to develop into strong, confident, caring individuals.

Ms Crystal , Lead Teacher Ms. Crystal is a teacher in the Tiny Turtles class. She has five and a half years of experience working with children. Ms. Crystal is from Hillsborough, North Carolina and is a Tarheel fan. She loves to color and spend time outside in warm weather.

Ms Hannah, Lead Teacher Ms. Hannah teaches our 12-18 month-old Possum Class. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Social Studies and is currently attending NC State for my Master’s degree. Hannah has eight years of experience working with children.

Hannah loves being around children and teaching them. "I am always happy when I meet new students because they are all so different and teach me new things every day. Teaching is the most fun and rewarding job in the world."

Ms Reval, Lead Teacher Ms. Reval is a lead teacher in the Darling Duck's Infant class. She graduated from East Carolina with a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development and Family Relations. She has been working in the early childhood education field for the past 25 years.

Ms. Reval is a mother of three wonderful children and has loved every minute of it. Her passion is helping all the children she works with reach their full potential through loving encouragement and support.

Ms Amanda, Lead Teacher Ms. Amanda is a lead teacher in the Busy Beavers class. She holds an associate’s degree with an emphasis in early childhood education and has four years experience working with children and absolutely love the infant and toddler groups.

Ms. Amanda's passion for working in early childhood education comes from her desire to help each child reach their full potential and develop a love for exploring the world around them.

Ms Danielle, Lead Teacher Ms. Danielle is a Toddler lead teacher in our Busy Beaver's class. She graduated from East Carolina University with my Early Childhood Education degree. She has been working with children since her junior year in high school.

Ms. Danielle loves working with children because they are bundles of joy. "They make each day brighter and open my eyes to different ways of learning. When working with children I am playing and having fun while teaching them new information."

Sheri, Lead Teacher Ms. Sheri is a lead teacher in the Bouncing Bears classroom. She holds her Infant/Toddler and Preschool CDA credentials. Sheri has worked with young children for over 20 years and adore watching them light up with excitement as they learn new things.

Ms Deepa, Lead Teacher Ms. Deepa is a lead teacher in our preschool classroom. She attended Sheridan College in Oakville Ontario for Early Childhood Education and has almost 11 years of experience working with children.

Ms. Deepa enjoys working with children because of the fulfillment one receives when nurturing and aiding a child to grow and blossom in their most crucial years as a person. "I enjoy teaching, guiding, caring, and helping children while working in a preschool setting."

Ms Iesha, Lead Teacher Ms. Iesha is a lead teacher in the Fantastic Frog's class. She has worked in the early childhood education field for the past several years and is currently working on completing her Early Childhood Education degree at Wake Tech Community College. Ms. Iesha has four lovely children of her own.

Ms. Iesha enjoys working with children because she loves to see the passion they have for learning. "My goal is to create a fun, loving, motivating learning environment that reaches each child and encourages them to question the world around them."

Ms Sh'Quaia, Lead Teacher Ms. Sh’Quaia is a lead teacher in the Fantastic Frogs classroom. She holds an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education from Wake Technical Community College and is happy to continue her work with children here at The Goddard School.

Ms. Sh'Quaia is from a small town called Warrenton, NC. She enjoys working with children because they are fun and joyful. "When working with children I get tons of laughter, exercise, and love. Children enjoy exploring the world and I am happy to be part of that."

Anna, Lead Teacher Ms. Anna is a lead teacher in our Friendly Foxes classroom. She holds an associates degree from Johnston Community College. Her experience working with children began by working with her mom in Sunday School at church and in 2013 she began to teach professionally.

"I love working with children because they truly fill me with so much joy and love. Children are fun, funny, so loving and incredibly smart. I love to watch them soak up everything about the world and whatever you are teaching them like sponges."

Ms Chelsea, Lead Teacher Ms. Chelsea is a lead teacher in the Super Squirrels classroom. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Intervention. She has worked with children for 5 years.

Ms. Chelsea loves working with children because she believes the early years are the most important and she loves watching the children learn and grow. "At eight years old, my own teacher inspired me to want to be a teacher someday and I hope to have that effect on my students as well. My goal is to foster a lifelong love for learning and make an impact on each child."

Ms Sarah, Lead Teacher Ms. Sarah is a lead teacher in the Radical Raccoon classroom. She holds a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and Intervention from Walsh University and has five years of experience working with children at the YMCA, classrooms, and with children with special needs.

Sarah works with children because of their imaginations and they keep life fun. "My passion for teaching comes from my desire to ensure every child feels loved and the freedom to explore their world."

Ms Beyke, Resource Ms. Beyke is the Curriculum Co-ordinator here at The Goddard School. She graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in Child Development and Family Relations. Beyke stared with the school ten years ago. She was originally a teacher in the Jumping Jackrabbits preschool class. Currently, as a mother of two young children, she is able to relate to the roles of family, teacher and administrator at the school.

Mr Carlos, Resource HOLA! Juan Carlos Ortiz is our Spanish teacher but everyone calls him “Senor Carlos”.

Senor Carlos is from Caracas-Venezuela where he studied Physical Education. He earned his Early Childhood Education degree from Durham Technical Community College. Senor Carlos has been working with children for over 20 years as PE teacher and swimming coach in Venezuela and the last 14 years as a Spanish teacher. He loves to teach Espanol!!!

Senor Carlos passion is his family, job and sports like swimming and tae kwon do. He trains for triathlons and enjoys dancing Zumba.

"I have always believed that learning should be fun and excited. For this reason I try my best in each class making a difference in your children’s education. I really love to see children express by themselves through my songs, stories, art……all in Spanish! I feel I have the best job around."

Ms Wendy, Resource Ms. Wendy is our early childhood gym teacher in our indoor gymnasium. She received her Physical Education degree from Liberty University. Wendy has worked with children for over twenty years. She has taught and coached several sports but basketball remains her favorite.

Wendy is a mom to three children. As a family, they play basketball, wiffle ball, golf and bowl. They even go to the gym together.

Ms. Wendy enjoys working with children because teaching is fun and exciting. "Young children can be taught to love a positive lifestyle of wellness through gym and fitness."
