Katie, Director Mrs. Katie is the Director. She has worked in childcare since 2006 and has been with The Goddard School Fuquay-Varina since 2012. Mrs. Katie worked in the toddler class for five years before making a permanent transition to the Director role. She has a Bachelor Degree in Psychology with a minor in Early Childhood Education. Katie believes that the key to success is fostering a nurturing environment that stimulates developmental growth for each child and enjoys sharing those joys with families. In her free time, Katie enjoys spending time with her family.

Kayla, Assistant Director Mrs. Kayla is one of our Assistant Directors and toddler teachers. She received her Bachelors Degree in Psychology at NC State University and her Masters Degree in Applied Psychology with a focus on Developmental Psychology. She is originally from Minnesota and has lived in NC since 2012. She started working with children when she was 16 and loves doing so because no matter how long you work with children, you can always learn something new. When she is not working, she enjoys doing activities with her two children.

Reny, Assistant Director Mrs. Reny is our Assistant Director. Reny has an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education and is currently working towards her Bachelors in Birth to Kindergarten. She has worked in Childcare since 1998 and has worked for The Goddard School since 2016. Reny enjoys working with children and watching them learn. In her spare time, Reny enjoys spending time with her family, reading, going to the beach and being a HUGE football fan. Go Ravens!

Stephanie, Lead Teacher Mrs. Stephanie is one of our infant teachers. Stephanie has been in childcare since 2002 and has been at the Goddard School since 2008! Mrs. Stephanie has an Associate in Art from Wake Technical Community College. Stephanie has always enjoyed working with young children, and teaching at The Goddard School it is like being with family everyday. In her spare time Stephanie enjoy crafts, drawing, and baking, as well as spending time with family and friends.

Mary, Lead Teacher Mrs. Mary is one of our infant teachers. Mary has a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development and over 25 years of experience in early childhood education. She has been at The Goddard School since it opened in 2008. She enjoys teaching young children because each day is something new. She gets a great feeling of satisfaction when children grasp a concept that she has taught them. In her free time, Mrs. Mary likes to run half marathons, swim, bike, and run. She also enjoys camping and cooking with her family.

Chrisshell, Lead Teacher Mrs. Shell is one of our three year old teachers. She is from Harnett County and went to school at Wake Technical Community College for Early Childhood Education. She has worked in childcare since 1993 and has been at the Goddard School since 2018. What Shell loves the most about working with children is having the opportunity to help each child shine and feel special in their own way. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her grandparents and going to church.

Becky, Assistant Teacher Mrs. Becky is one of our infant teachers. She is from Buies Creek, North Carolina and attends school at Central Carolina Community College for Early Childhood Education. She has worked in childcare and for The Goddard School since July 2019. She enjoys getting to know each child's personality. In her free time, Mrs. Becky enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and writing.

Shaveaz, Assistant Teacher Ms. Shaveaz is one of our infant teachers! She has been with The Goddard school since 2020. Mrs. Shaveaz was born in North Carolina but raised between Colorado and New Jersey. She currently attends Wake Tech Community College for Early Childhood education. Shaveaz always knew she wanted to work with children in some way and believes that it’s a privilege to be able to be apart of so many children’s lives and watch them grow and develop! In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her four wonderful children!

Lindsey, Assistant Teacher Mrs. Lindsey is one of our preschool teachers. She is from Fuquay-Varina and graduated from Fuquay-Varina High School. She loves to watch children grow and learn new things, and really enjoys their bubbly personalities and imaginations! She has one daughter, loves to fish and draw and enjoys baking and cake decorating. The children often ask her to draw pictures for them- she has great talent! She has worked in childcare and for The Goddard School since 2020.

Ashley, Assistant Teacher Mrs. Ashley is one of our Preschool teachers. She is from Willow Spring, North Carolina and has worked in childcare on and off since 1987. She has been with The Goddard School since 2019. Her favorite thing about working with children is being able to see the world through their eyes; new, clear and amazed! In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family going to parks & live concerts.

Brittany, Assistant Teacher Mrs. Brittany is one of our toddler teachers. She has worked in early childhood since 2011 and here at the Goddard school since 2013. Mrs. Brittany is currently enrolled at Wake Technical Community College to earn her associates degree in Early Childhood Education. Brittany loves anything art related and makes the cutest projects. In her free time, Brittany enjoys gardening, and chasing after her two children!:-)

Kelley, Assistant Teacher Mrs. Kelly is one of our after school program coordinators. She graduated from Whitefield College with a BA in Elementary Christian Education and for a season was a certified educational therapist with the National Institute for Learning Disabilities. She began working in childcare in 2015 because she recognized it as a way to help nurture young, inquisitive minds and to assist them in learning to make good choices that will impact their futures. She enjoys arts and crafts, bird watching, gardening, reading and playing disc golf with her husband.

Riley, Resource My name Mr. Riley, and I have lived in North Carolina my entire life. I grew up in Apex and I am currently enrolled at Wake Tech Community College for Early Childhood Education. I was homeschooled through middle school and high school. I have worked in childcare since I was 12 years old when I started serving at my church. What I love about teaching and childcare is that I get the chance to help children achieve their best and put a smile on their faces. In my free time I enjoy playing guitar, drawing superheroes, watching movies, and playing video games. I’m a huge superhero nerd and love telling stories to the kids I work with.

Sarah, Resource Ms. Sarah is one of the resource teachers at our school. She received her Associates Degree from Wake Technical Community College and is currently working on her B.S. in Deaf Studies at Western Carolina University. She is originally from upstate New York but has lived most of her life in the triangle area. She has worked in childcare since 2014. She loves to see children grow and learn new things- the "lightbulb moment" is her favorite! In her free time, she enjoys crafting, reading, and music. She is also actively involved in her church.

Senait, Resource Mrs. Senait is part of our support staff and the ever-popular cook. The children light up as she brings them their lunch everyday... we know the way to our children's hearts!! In her free time Senait enjoys reading, cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family.
