Quality First – a signature program of First Things First – partners with regulated early childhood providers to make quality improvements that research proves help children birth to 5 thrive, such as education for teachers to expand their expertise in working with young children. It also supports parents with information about what to look for in quality early childhood programs that goes beyond health and safety to include a nurturing environment that supports their child’s learning.

 

P21 is a national organization championing 21st century skills and serves as a catalyst to position 21st century readiness for every student by building collaborative partnerships among educational, business, community and government leaders. The Goddard School has become the first preschool program to join P21.

Assessment tools assist teachers in making informed and individualized instructional decisions. Stress-free and developmentally appropriate for young learners, assessment tools determine each student’s level of comfort with early literacy and mathematics concepts. These tools have been vetted by education experts and are used by schools, districts and state agencies nationwide.

The Children’s Progress Academic Assessment (CPAA) is an early childhood assessment system that assists teachers in making informed and individualized instructional decisions. CPAA grew out of decades of research at Columbia University and has been used by schools, districts and state agencies nationwide. Stress-free and developmentally appropriate for young learners, this program assesses each student¹s level of comfort with major early literacy and mathematics concepts.

ACCA is recognized as the single most active and effective voice representing the interests of child care providers with local, State and Federal elected officials, government agencies, the media, and the general public.

The Southwest Valley Chamber of Commerce represents the business communities of Avondale, Goodyear, Litchfield Park and Tolleson. The Southwest Valley Chamber's mission is promoting the community as a good place to live, work and play, and to provide an atmosphere where businesses can flourish.

This award is presented annually and acknowledges a market that has demonstrated the best collaborative effort in representing The Goddard Schools in their community.

Each year, during National Teacher Appreciation Week, Goddard Systems, Inc. recognizes 4 outstanding Goddard School teachers, out of 8,000, for their excellence in early childhood education. Click here to learn more.

The Regional Leadership Award is presented annually and recognizes a franchisee in the Northeast, Southeast, Midwest and Western regions based on their adaptation of new programs and services and leadership in their market including the mentoring of fellow franchisees.
